I love Spawn!!! Both series and comic books are amazing and not boring! Also i would recommend to play SNES game based on comic books, it's great too, check it out! But i still love Batman as well, and Judge Dredd. Those characters are grittier and full of virility than Spider-man, Superman and... i dunno what else. But yeah, Todd stands out on his own, creating smth original.

Spawn is a savage cool character not a stupid cliche action hero or super hero like Superman or Spider-man. Super heroes like those are overrated and real interesting characters like Spawn are not getting the spotlight they so rightly deserve. Well at least the true fans and I know that Spawn well stand above Spider-man and heroes alike some day and kick their sorry ass.

@Eagle5 This is where you become ignorant. Its kind of obvious now you hardly pay attention to the comics or hell even the movie. But if you had a brain you would know the story, in like marvel or dc characters, it sounds like kids made up their stories. So corny. Spawn has a twist with excitment for adults. something you would never understand, so go back and read your dead pool or hulk, whatever these stupid kids read.

@Eagle5 Not really, no one never heard of a satan story or any of that stuff, when todd released his comic, there was a reason why people loved it so much. Its not a stupid marketing for kids like marvel or dc, not to mention the story was very good and it had one of the best hero icon for adults.

People say Marvel and DC is all the cool stuff, but really hate to break it to you, those super heroes are for Kids, marketed toys and movie after movie to raise their popularity. Spawn is for the adults who understand the storyline and its for people who can recognize a dark story, compare to those mutant babies with claws that cant kill people, thats saying alot compared to spawn

Spawn is one of the best comic books of all time!

It's been in the top ten best selling comic books list since 1992 and will stay there for a good long time!

So pick up a Spawn and see how wrong you were if you hate Todd or Spawn!

They were capable to do so much but I zoned out cause alot of the animation felt to heavy metalish in the sense that there was violence for the sake of violence rather than bweing story. Even in issue 5 when he kills Kincaid there isnt that much violence. And the violence was alway related to the action that was driven by story. But he lost base with the character by making him too dark and at times inhunman. We lost connecton with the character.

He made his own tv show and his own collectables and he did it HIS WAY and made millions from it. Wow u really know your comic history, marvel and dc have been "ripping off" each other for decades. A few of the only major popular anti-heroes at the time were Punisher and wolverine. Sorry to break it to you but SPAWN blew all the anti heroes out of the water (and then some) and came up with a character series that appealed to younger and older crowds. Keep hating
