this engine is fantastic peice of powerplant, it's not about 0-100 km/h or top speed!
This engine weights only 90 kg!! You don't get even little of understeer, chassis just follow your steering input like crazy and control blade works your back of car to keep the car neutral!!!! For road with lot of bends it's fantastic.
It's something you can't understand until you try!!! It's fantastic for such low budget car, you could buy it brand new for 12500 euros back in 2010!!!
I've got exactly the same model ( '08 1.6 ). I get 6.5-7L / 100km highway. It's actually not that bad, but you have to drive smooth and like 90-100km/h. In city burns 10l/100km easy :/

it looks crap, it sounds crap, its under powered and as for 7.5 per 100km, i'm getting about 9 litres per 100km in my 1995 falcon on the highway with my standard, 300,000+ km 4 litre
my best mate has a lightly modified 92 falcon getting about 8 on the highway

@KoczkodanPL I really don't understand how u get such consumption .I have the 1.6 also and i have 7.8 in town and 5.4 in highway .
