  • @silver1137 Stupid or just troll? The rear wheel is moving, just like it would on the street.

  • Irrelavant. There's no load under the engine

  • Why the fuck does he have a polynesian tribal

  • lets just take the fun out of riding why dont we

  • @MNsikR6 well id say that the quick shifter is for like racing kinda guys

  • as you can hear the quick shifter is pretty quick... good observation

  • OK QUICK NOOB QUESTION DOES IT WORK FOR DOWNSHIFTING AND SECOND IF YOUR AT THE LIGHT DO YOU JUST HOLD THE CLUTCH OR WHAT? (thanks in advance)

  • @MrDeuce27 use clutch for downshifting and for red light also... basically you can shift without the clutch on every bike, but with the quickshifter it does no damage at all

  • quickshifters and slipper clutches are the bomb. my 08 gixxer shifts like that no prob wide open no clutch. and hard downshifts with clutch and no wheel lock :D fun

  • i like my clutch... it and the motorcycle are a paaaart of me! ahhhhh we feeear change

  • @deadladyinred lmao this comment is so random and hilarious :D

  • how much is it??

  • this works only in sportbikes or can i instal it in any other bike?

  • i am a little confused. do you still need the clutch held in when at a standstill??? silly question i suppose ha

  • @crazycurtis28 yes, all the quick shifter mod does is electronically connect to your ECU and cuts the throttle for a split second so you can slide into the next gear. it has nothing to do with your clutch.

  • @FWarrior2010 thankyou muchly, seems obvious now you say it haha.

think my bike is too old for it though sadly.

    thanks for info though

  • how bad is this for your gearbox? Are there any down falls for this? How bout for city driving? (thanks in advance for your responses)

  • lol at the guy in the background on the phone

  • Was I the only guy hoping to see the bike pop off the stand when he had the throttle wide open in fifth gear?

  • i love my quickshifter, its instantly addicting on the track. Bazzaz baby!

  • i want one for my 2011 speed triple !

  • what's the purpose of this? just asking not flaming

  • @Margalus89 you'll use it for racing (on track or drag strip) to eliminate the time wasted using your clutch lever

  • @Likhi oh ok so it's basically shifting releasing the gas for a sec and then pulling the gear?

  • @Margalus89 nope; you don't even have to do that. You keep the throttle open while upshifting; the quickshifter does the work of disengaging your throttle for you.

  • @Likhi oh ok so it's the "automatic shifting" system right?

  • @Margalus89 Hmm, yep, but just for upshifting. Not the same as "automatic transmission". More like the paddle shifters on an F1 car - click and it shifts.

  • @Likhi oh ok thanks for the infos :)

  • So many tards commenting on this video, it's ridiculous. A good 600cc rider can beat a bad 1000cc ride in the twisties, but a good 1000cc rider will always beat the good 600cc rider. Look at all the 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times and you will get the picture, there is just no contest.

  • This can be done with out this and a stock shifter right??

  • @mrmidnight32 yes but you still have to let off the gas...with this set up you dont

  • @mrmidnight32 yes, but you cant just leave the throttle wide open and shift up on a stock super bike, with the quick shifter you can.

  • HOLY SHIT! What kinda pipe you got on that bitch? Sounds great, this is the first quickshifter I've seen on a triumph. Thanks

  • @subtrefuge28 Isnt that a two brothers carbon? Well, i think it is...

  • @whitespace1981 Thanks for the response. I'm hesitant to make a decision as I plan on purchasing a new pipe from the manufacturer so if I don't like the sound, I'm stuck with selling it on e-bay and I just don"t have the time. Two bros carbon huh? I'll def check it out, ride safely

  • fazer isso nesse cavalete..nossa senhora...

  • That bike is basically porn on two wheels. I don't know whether I'd want to ride it or shag it.

  • that daytona is so sexy in this white/blue limited edition

  • Hahahaha, Quick Shifter for street riding?

Aaahhh, it doesn't make any sense to me.

  • It sounds way different when your on the street. With the right exhaust, it'll give off a pop sound everytime you shift. It sounds amazing on my buddys s1000rr

  • not the wisest of things to do on a paddock stand!

  • So exactly what does the quickshifter do?

  • @two45triox it allowes you to shift while you are acclerating, which means you dont have to use the clutch which helps you acceleration and change gears faster.

  • @GeNuiNe212 You can do this without a 'quickshifter.' Seems like a gimmick to me

  • what kind of tatoo is that? please tell

  • @racey1321 Hawaiian art.

  • @bricelee361 thank you, i really love that pattern

  • haha this guy is such a tool

  • Wait a min you guys are sayin a 675 is too much power for a first bike?? Not hardly. And the quickshifter isn't what makes a sound. The bike does. Love my quickshifter! And if your smart enough you can make one for about 10 bucks.

  • good 1st bike?

  • @hetisjechillerboyjwz not at all to much power.

  • @hetisjechillerboyjwz that's a lot of machine if it's the the first bike you've ridden, ever.

  • @RF15T1 yeah, you guys are right, but, i really want it' and i think i cam handle it man! your opinions?

  • that guy with the phone was probably very happy with this..

  • Thumps up when you got a orgasm ! ;)

  • @xLiK3F4M3x

I love bikes but not that much.

  • Comment removed

  • @freedomsoldier187 what bike do you have?

  • @liamroyle14 GSXR 1000 K7

  • @ freedomsoldier187 shhhhhhhh

  • @trumpet90909 I'm with freedom on this a r1 would kill a 600 bandit on street or track

  • Everybody even with a minimum knowledge of engine mechanics will tell you that this quicksh*t will kill your gerbox in no time. How can you shift gears without decreasing revs? Think about the loads which pinions in a gearbox and clutch / flywheel surfaces get exposed to.

  • @justflybluesky best comment, i guess..

  • @justflybluesky And why is it then, that even different motorcycle manufactories offers their top end bikes with a quickshifter?

Motorcycle gearbox has straigh cutted gears, so gears can be upshifted by just easying the power, using clutch or quickshift-system what cuts the injectors. Downshifts are still done bu using clutch.

  • @justflybluesky Just because they are moving, doesnt mean there are unnatural forces applied to them. Professional race car drivers (YES, cars. they have higher torque/hp and weight, consequently more wear/tear) and still shift without clutch. Motrocycle gear boxes are designed to be shifted like that. I've redlined through the gears without clutch many many many times without problems (on my bike). I've got friends with the same results. quick shifter just perfects it.

  • UMM question. i can do this on my 06 k6 gsxr, shifting up with no clutch. works perfect and i dont have a quick shift kit.

  • @beyond305 lol, you can maybe by pulling back some throttle but with a quickshifter you can hold on with full throttle

  • your bike is fully loaded :)

  • So with acceleration u don't need to use the clutch? What about decelerating?

  • @pali4life48 yes u need the cluth on the down shifts

  • il sait pas conduire -.-'

  • i like the person who walks in the background

  • I would so buy a triumph if they made a 1000

  • @freedomsoldier187 Huh? They make 1050's and I've personally seen great riders on their 675 triples (like this one) beat the pants off 1000 riders on gsx-r's and ducatis. Don't be put off by cc's. It's like being concerned about megapixels on a camera, it means very little.

  • @trumpet90909 rubbish, your obviously a 600 fan boy. You need to wring their necks to get them to perfom what a 1000 does without breaking a sweat. Nothing beats a 1000's torque its like 25% more then a 600.

  • @freedomsoldier187 A few people have told me not to argue with you because you don't know what you are talking about, but I will say this: torque isn't everything. It ultimately comes down to rider skill, but most good 600-675 riders will be able to out-maneuver and lay waste to 1000cc riders. 1000's are heavier, and are faster in a straight line, but that's it. When you ride your first bike, come back and message me.

  • @trumpet90909 torque is fucking everything, a 600 is a track bike, that's all its good for

you cannot ride it on the street without wringing their necks to get them to do what a

1000 does without breaking a sweat, that's a fact. So fuck off on your 600 and I'll ride my 1000. nuff said

  • @freedomsoldier187 stop arguing just shut the fuck up yeah.

  • @suckityoudongo stop i am freedomdaftcuntsoldier , like robbocop so just shut up NOW,,,,.i said now yeah baby

  • @freedomsoldier187 your fulla shit

  • @clydetown1 fuck off troll, go back to watching porn and jizzing on your potato chips while you eat them.

  • @freedomsoldier187 i think your fantasising bout me shooting a load on your i know i am babe

  • @freedomsoldier187 Again, I've had 3 people message me now telling me not to bother arguing with you because you don't know much, but yes I'll stick with my 675 which is lighter, faster and more agile than your 1000. Enjoy your lacking rider skills and heavy-ass bike. One day, hopefully before you write yourself off trying to pull a wheelie, you'll wake up and realize it's about rider skill and not cc's. Damn kids.

  • @trumpet90909 oh fuck off you moron, if there was no performance difference than

they wouldn't make a 1000 you dumb fucking twat, go stick your dick in your 600's tailpipe

    shit cunt.

  • why can't it downshift too??

  • don't like the sound from a quick shifter

  • @xVoltage21 It's The 3cylenders That Make That Sound...A Little Bit Like A Whisle And Not The Quiqfhifter..!!:D

  • @xVoltage21 There is no load on it so it isn't the same as if you were racing with it. If he were on a track it would sound like normal shifting.

  • dude in the back ground looked like bruno mars

  • tirimoos is wake

  • that will make the engine weak that shift gear without clutch!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Would you pop a wheelie using this?

  • @WoohooDamn i feel like it would be much easier honestly.

  • THAT'S GREAT. SOUND YAYYAYAY . I LIKE IT..

  • yesssssss!

  • does it allow you to shift down without the cluch ?

  • @Black17Devil i dont think it will, you must use the clutch when changing down otherwise your gearbox will turn to jizz

  • @Black17Devil yes, itsw same like on motocross bikes

  • He would be so pissed if that paddock stand fell.

  • @syler357 its pitbull, it'll never break.

  • @syler357 you would see hem fly :)

  • nice way to ruin the engine without having any load on it

  • @koom

Nice way to make yourself look stupid

  • oh and please note the msg i wrote was not directed to the guy on the video, i dont know him so i wouldnt know how he came about having the tattoo... my msg was for the multiple comments below showing interest as to how much it cost to get one done...

  • ok. please understand that tribal tattoos are not just something to throw on your body to look awesome.. the shapes and symbols all represent the natural island world such as, stones, waves, fish, sharks, turtles, rain, sun, birds ect.. it symbolizes our pride and deep respect for the island. the tattoo often is a story of important events in an individuals life. there are multiple reasons why we would get a tribal.. but please do research before popping one on your body. oh yeah... nice bike..

  • @TwistedRoots1 while it's true that tribal tattoos are symbolic, they've sadly sort of been transformed into a sure way to spot a douchebag in today's society. most people who have tribal ink on them probably don't have the slightest clue what the symbolism is behind it.

  • that guy behind in 0:50 is having a call while the biker just pull the throttle hahaha lol

  • "a quick shifter is pretty quick" Would have never guessed!

  • nice how mony

  • Would suck if it fell off that stand going that fast.

  • my nextpurchase for my bike

  • dammmm thats nice man

  • how does this device work exactly??? i've heard that its plug-n-play, easy install... what does it do exactly? cut the iginiton somehow, so thatway you dont have to let off the throttle? it does it for you by killing the ignition??? anyone?

  • How much did the tattoo cost on your left arm?

  • Hey,why when you 're down shifting the gears you pull the clutch so many times and not one?

  • @mariosdr2000 I take it you have never shifted the whole way down the gearbox on a stationary bike before? essentially he is letting the clutch out so that there is some force on the gear box so the gears kind of 'jig' into place on. This needs to be done for each gear as it's a sequential gearbox.

  • nice shoes

  • icool247 a lot of thanxs !!!

  • i just got one question about this, shifting down do you need clutch or no?

  • @bigchrisram

    Yep, you need it.

  • This is so good.. :D

  • what shoes are that ??? any one can tell me please !!!

  • @mashaton go to Alpinestars' website

  • @mashaton Alpinestars Pit Shoes

  • The difference in track between a bike with QS and a bike without QS is HUGE

  • Does this increase wear on the transmission/clutch?

  • so the clutch is like our appendix in the belly? :D

  • Nice shoes

  • hello, im 5'5" ..will i be able to place both feet flat-footed? pls reply

  • @kani9000 HELL NO!

  • what year is this bike?

  • (sigh) so much for learning how to use the clutch all these years...... But that is FREAKEN awesome!

  • nice vid! i have one on my 2011 d675R. and what the tech guy at triumph HQ america told me is that the shift sensor kills the injectors for a split second to simulate rolling off the throttle, but since your on the throttle the whole time you still have the high rpms going which allows for the QUICK SHIFT.

  • Oh my that's quick...

  • Casting spells... LOL. That's hilarious.

  • 0:51 "I'm gonna piss this guy off, hehehe"

  • What was the kill time for this

  • can this be used on a rieju rs2 50cc matrix?

  • Quickshifter is not an automatic gearbox, it creates a delay in ignition to allow the gears to align and shift smoothly... Not just for the track, but is great for every day riding as well... As most videos will show you can shift almost seamlessly with the throttle open, with minimal shift shock..... Very nice equipment!!!!

  • @eittam43 is it available on every bike? and is it just easy to install or very hard?

  • YEAH NOW I CAN DRIVE WITH ONE HAND

  • @MrSkytops YES NOW YOU cAN PERFORM A DRIVE BY WITH A UZI lol.

  • @joshshoot like the fast and the furious? :D

  • @MrSkytops no Grand theft auto xD xD, i played gta 4 the other day and i realised that the guy shoots with his right hand and you can stil accalerate while he is shooting xD.

  • what brand is that quick shifter he is using ? does anyone knows what quick shifter is the best for a Zx-14r?

  • @GrandPrixBoss its the quickshifter from Triumph self.

  • can this product be use for daily riding or just racing?

  • so kinda like automatic gear box?

  • might be a stupid question but, could you still use the clutch with the quickshifter?

  • @byronb365

    Would defeat the purpose

  • can anyone tell me, is this good for daily riding. what are the pros and cons of this system

  • der typ sieht aus wie eine mischung aus will ferell und john travolter

  • @TheMauronator ... + Karsten Spengemann, Karsten Speck ... ;-)

  • this bike is fkn sexy

  • is a 600cc bike to much to start with?

  • @BlackberrySmart Is water wet?

  • @BlackberrySmart well, do think wrapping yourself around a tree would be a fun experience? because i know someone who did just that because the bike was too much for him. he had it less than a year.....RIP

  • @BlackberrySmart yes... better with a 250cc... get to know you on a bike.. and the traffic around you...

    good luck!!

  • @BlackberrySmart NO ITS NOT! dont buy a 250cc just get a 600cc bike you will grow out of a 250cc so fast its 2000 dollars of waste! now unless your looking for a 250cc or just want a cheap bike, but if your looking for a fun nice bike, you can buy a 600cc bike there several types like the mainstream 600cc like the GSXR600 R6, the low buget 600cc like the CBR F4i or R6S ,ZZR600, or standards like the suzuki gladius! choose one YOU want and ride safe!!!!

  • @barcode0954 @BlackberrySmart the buget bikes are less powerful more beginner friendly but there still fast the standards are slower then the buget bikes but a sport bike is a sport bike regardless + plus you can also buy a older 600cc there less power! dont let people presuade what you buy. i know several guys who bought 600cc and are fine ! just keep in your head with great power comes great responability!! dont do anything stupid! learn how to ride and respect the bike! BIKES DONT FORGIVE!!

  • love the shoes :)

  • i thought the whole point of the clutch is to take the load of the engine off the transmission to avoid damage. even if it lets off the ignition, the transmission still has to bear the load of the clutch basket AND the engine if the clutch is released....

  • @nothorwitzer bikes are kinda different than cars. A lot of people up shift without using the clutch. If you let off the throttle and just shift, you can still perform smooth shifts. It's debatable how much wear it puts on your transmission. Some do it, and others swear against it. I know MotoGP guys don't use the clutch to upshift; I don't even know if they use it to downshift. Although, that's not really a good argument....

  • nice where can i order this part for my 955i =)

  • i thinkk ive seen this bike in ATL.

  • Good video. I want one.

  • Impressive to say the least. Never had seen it work before. One video worth a gazillion words.

  • so if i fit this to my gsxr600 i wont have to use a clutch apart from n to 1st
