I have a flycam one 2 too!

But mine flycam make me crazy!!!

My flycam isn't working!!!

When I turn it on ... nothing happens!

If I turn it off and connect it to my pc it goes in the pc mode.

But I can't change the mode!

THIS BUG SUCKS!!!

whats the difference betweem the original and the second edition? I have the original, and iv been lookin on youtube and al i can tell the difference is the wing shape and the engine is quieter on the T2.

T2 has a lipo battery the T1 has NiMH, T2 side force generators and the T1 does not, T2 black controller and the T1 green. Other than that they are the same. The Typhoon 2 replacement parts will work on the Typhoon 1. I know as I use T2 parts on the T1.

Do the side force generators make much of a difference? If so, in a good way?

The side force generators give the plane lift when doing a knife edge manuver. So yes, they do help. You dont actually need the SFG's to knife edge, but it makes it easier to do for the newer pilots.

The video is decent on a sunny day, but I still have audio sync issues with the flycamone2. It is great for micro planes and helis and the rotating lens helps when finding a place to mount it. Thanks for watching.

How exactly do you have that mounted to the underside of the plane? I have mounted my flycamone2 to my typhoon2 but get a 'wavy' video. I think it's from vibration because I have the cam attached via velcro to the bottom of the plane.

Never mind... I can look at tell that you used the cushioned velcro stickers that come with the cam. I will try using these and see if my 'waviness' goes away.

There are clubs where I am, but they are not close to me so I fly at a park about 5 minutes from the house and I fly my bigger faster planes over a hay field. I would suggest to you to join because having experienced flyers around is a huge atvantage. Anyways, thanks for the comment Sonic.

I'm about to buy a FlyCamOne2, but I can tell from your video the quality difference between it and the video from your Powershot. Maybe I'm too demanding, but I wish the video would be much more similar to your Hat Cam there.

That said, I really need something light, I don't know if I would put one of the heavier photo cameras on my planes ...

I've read that the FlyCam has some audio synch problems. Have you encountered this?

I like the flycamone2. I did notice a sync problem, but there is a patch download on their website for this. The flycamone2 is amazing for it's size and weight. I flew my blade 400 heli last night with it on it and it worked just fine.

Of course the video quality will not be as good as the Cannon camera, but they were both made for different applications.

cool vid. Have you had audio sync issues with yours? I did but it seemed to go away with a firmware update from the mfr's website. I have yet to try it on my 3 channel converted firebird scout. The plane runs the stock motor and battery but considerably lighter radio gear so hauling the cam isn't too much of an issue.

Actually yes I did have the audio sync issue, but I cured it by using a high speed memory card. I didnt know about the update from the mfr and will have to check into it. Thanks for the tip and the comment sniper887.

What brand SD card are you using? I still have the synch problem, even after the firmware upgrade, although it's not as pronounced. Looking at the video (my newest one on here)it's about a second off.

There are two firmware updates out because of two different models of the flycamone2. I have not updated my software yet. The memory card that I use is a sandisk ultra II, 2 gig.

It is an intermediate 3D plane. I liked this one because it could take a tumble and parts are cheap. I would suggest a trainer plane or a flight sim first. Thanks for asking ThurDude.
