It is funny, today I just tried playing harmonica for my two bengal cats. They sort of became crazy, miawing close to each other and getting a bit relentless. That was specially when I would blow the highest pitch note non-stop. Try it :)
I did some research on this as my cat always comes up to me a meows when I play the harmonica. The cat does not shut up, which is weird cause the cat doesnt do this when I play other instruments. Any ways cats do not like the sound of harmonica's

There's another vid with two cats beginning to 'fight' when the guy plays single, fairly shrill notes...but mine are mellow like yours. One needs to play some nice melodious sounds and the cats love it. Glad you posted this to prove kitties and harps DO mix well ;)

Our cat loves it when my boyfriend plays his harmonica too! Only the cat ended up humping his arm. It totally thinks its a mating call apparently. =)
