69 million people voted for Obama and they don't know how to set up their own health insurance company? Idiots.
Oh, they don't want to pay for it themselves.... that would leave them with immoral core principles and unwilling to pay for their scheme themselves.
Forcing other people to pay for your scheme is immoral. Then I will be shot by the police when they force me to pay for something I don't want any part of.
this is the same mentality of many of these political and activist groups that beat the streets and neighborhoods for signatures to promote their causes. it is not exclusive to obama's people. i force these kids, when they come to me, to stop reading from their pre-programmed cheat sheets and interact and answer my questions. i even make em come back the next day and force them to stay beyond their restricted time limits. those that do this work are well-meaning and sincere, regardless the cause
She'll pay 50% taxes, she doesn't care? Has she thought about what her housing food and transportation will cost? These kids are marxists, and sadly, they don't even know it. My God look what they've done to our kids.
They don't even know what they are supporting. Can't answer a single question. This is a good example of how clueless they really are. They're gonna follow the DNC off a cliff, just like the reps blindly followed bush. The uninformed are all the same.

What the last young lady doesn't realize is that her friends' parents already pay almost 50% in taxes. That's a big reason why they're having trouble making ends meet.

It's too bad. You try to make kids look stupid for supporting something. I couldn't make that meeting because of work. But I would have been happy to hand your ass to you on reform. But, then, you also wouldn't publish that bit on youtube.
I would laugh at these kids if they were not so pathetic. They have not been educated. They have merely been taught to believe that they are educated. Their minds are filled with drivel. Their brains have turned to mush. It is no surprise that they want government to take care of them since it is obvious that they will not be able to fend for themselves. Their futures are bleak. I am genuinely sad for them.
Wow, these people are complete drones. Bravo to the camera person for interacting with these people. I at least give the last lady credit for sticking it out. Still, much like Obama's campaign, platitudes over substance.
To the girl at the end who's willing to pay 50% taxes ... I wonder how much she's gonna like paying 50% taxes when she's got a family to support in a couple years ...
I love it! "I can't talk to you , we have people assigned to that", your official PR men? Surely the individual can argue the merits of O's plan? No need to turn to a spin master no?
Once upon a time the government tried to force everyone to be able to own a house, because not everyone can afford a house, so the governments should give them money.
And now the government has given TTTrillions to the elite and owns our financial and auto industries. How is that working for you sheeple!! lol. They laugh at how easy you are to manipulate.
"Everyone deserves free healthcare. Don't be greedy"
after going through college you would be surprised (maybe not) at the amount of socialist propaganda there is. in history classes they portray Hitler as being worse then Stalin or Marx. either way, historically big government has always been bad for the populous.
Im currently enrolled in college and I agree. It seems as if the professors have made it their personal mission to brainwash/manipulate as many ignorant, misinformed students ( which is an overwhelming majority of them) as they can.
Amazing! They can only use "talking points speak". I am sure they are smart people, but if they are so smart - READ THE BILL. I dare you!! Then you will see that Obama is Lieing!
bottom line no Tort reform or insurance companies being allowed to do business outside of their state without these 2 there will be no new healthcare reform
and if Congress passes a public option plan ie:Gov't take over...
Obama has no Constitutional right to touch health care, the auto industry, banking, etc. Nor should he be using taxpayers money to form another branch of government such "Orgasmize for America" o0r support it. He has not right to appoint Czars for anything either.

Hi. I'm the last girl interviewed in that video, and the editor cut me off at an unfair moment. The rest of my quote was "ïf it means that we can start treating human beings like human beings and not commodities to be bought and sold". That is the main point of this healthcare reform for me. Aside from my friend and my own "preexisting" condition that will always prevent me from getting independent insurance, the point is that we need to recognize that everyone is entitled to affordable care.
Nicadulche, I understand what you're saying; however the entire health care system does not need to be rewritten to make it better and more accessible to everyone. Remember, 85% of Americans are happy with their health coverage.
I'm part of "everyone," and I would like you to stop staking a claim to my life. I would like you to stop assigning your values to me. I would like you to stop concerning yourself with my "health care."
Actually, the rest of your quote was "I don't want to live in a country where people's lives are bought and sold by an industry. That's shameful. We are one of the only industrialized nations that puts a price on people's lives this way." I did you a favor by shortening your diatribe.
consider for a moment that it might be the regulation passed by Nixon that make companies not offer health care to people with preexisting conditions. we need to let doctors be doctors, and the plan you support only adds more red tape.
Nixion pored large amounts of government subsidies into the HMO act of 73 that would grant money to the corner cutting companies, but also tie them to increased government regulation for accepting the cash. While you didn't have to receive government cash and accept regulation, companies that didn't then suffered from an un-even playing field. Nixion had his hand in a lot of health care reform that didn't turn out well, like medicare. let's cut the red tape.
THANKS FOR THE INFO! I wish I could pick your brain on this, because unfortunately I was born in the 80's and have not had the time or experience to really grasp the history of health care insurance in this nation. I always thought on thing was odd. With any other type of insurance, you buy it in the hopes you'll never have to use it, and if you wanted to, you'd have to get into an accident to use it. With health insurance, it's equivalent to buying auto intending to crash right off the bat.

Just because the vols have been asked not to speak for the organization doesn't mean their 'fools' or that their support is 'blind faith.' I happen to know some of the people in this video. They're sharp, intelligent people with opinions that fuel their organizing. But when they're working for OfA, they represent a network of millions. It's not fair for them to speak for others. Leave them alone. And when they're brave enough to speak up, don't cut them off before they can make their case.
And they claim that the opponents are plants? What a bunch of fools. A "grass roots" organization that was formed by the White House? "I'm sorry I can't talk to you guys?" No astroturf here for sure.

We're volunteers, and the guy in the middle had an excellent point. We have press people so that nothing we say can be misconstrued unfairly and so that we're putting out a consistent message. The point is that we're community organizers energized by the president; we're grassroots because the organization is for the people by the people, although we use the same infrastructure built during the campaign to further the policies we believe in, which are also those of the president.
