Great aircraft I've flown on it twice it's amazing, including on VH-OQA(Nancy-Bird Walton). She was a pioneer and legend to Australian history and aviation R.I.P.

if theyre naming the a380's after pioneers of australian aviation, would i be right in saying that one should be named after Sir Reginald Myles Ansett?? the founder of now defunct ansett australia?
A380 aircraft number 8 will be named Reginald Ansett (SRMA) - a very generous gesture and it will be wonderful to see that name proudly displayed on a Qantas A380.
How do you top that??!! And so appropriate that Nancy's name is Bird! RIP Nancy. Australian women should look up to you and Australians should always remember you. What an inspiration you are..
