mate im around your age but since then to now u should probably get a 2009--2010 norco katmandu cause i might be getin 1 they are way bter then the 2006 model :P
get yar hand outta pockets! speak as you r and don't try to be cool as those profesional "reviewers" (I guess)... well anyways... those who said that the 2010 Katmandu is better, they are right, BUT HELL! LOOK AT THE DATE OF THIS VIDEO YOU IDIOTS! when it was uploaded, no one even knew about the 2010 Katmandu...
i have the same bike and the day i got it the stock fork broke when i jumped a six set so i brought it back an they gave me the fork off the same year wolverine it has like 40 mm more travel and its still sick
i got a green norco katmandu specilized goldish + i got all my brake and shifter cable's done lime green i love my bike im gunna make vid of it and me hitting some jumps in the summer
spell INFORMATION correctly and I might think you are telling the truth, you do the upgrades because you think it is "cool." where is the dirt on the bike?? NONE, simply put, you buy a katmandu, you ride the road. Thus, you should buy training wheels bitch.
I am so sorry! I missed the "r" in information. I didn't mean to affend you so much. By the way, This video was made when I had just got the bike, which happened to be in the winter.... dumbass. so maybe that's why it has no dirt.
Also, maybe you should get some videos of you riding the trails, instead of posting retarded video game clips. You probably spend so much time indoors, you can't even ride a bike....
seriously man, what's you problem? Why do you come onto my video watch it, then insult it. So I made a few errors, so what, who cares. and for your infomation I do have an education.
LOL sounds like u do the upgrades cus ppl like em, im pushin 200 pounds and have yet to bottom out my 75mm shocks that came stock, whats the point of upgrading, IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT FIX IT!! jump the bike till it breaks, thats when u worry about upgrading, and make sure to get a cool parts cus, u kno, what REALLY matters is that people think its cool, right?! lol
i knew the pedals would break before i baught the bike, was only a matter of time, i replaced them with some nice metal ones same size as the plastic pedals and the seat bent when i hit a dirt jump with a major incline, i ended up landin on my back laughin lol..ive hit some pretty rugged trails sinc i live in northern ontario we got killer places to ride, ill get the rest of the season outta the crank might just spend a lil next year and upgrade, the shocks are mint now that they are broken in
thats awesome, I need to find some places to ride aswell. and i'm glad to hear that nothing was marjorly damaged on your bike. Put a video up soon so I can see it!
okay, so after about 2 weeks of riding my new '08 kat, 1. bent seat 2. BOTH pedals broke, in the same place, at the same time!**WHY PLASTIC?!** 3. clunks in 6-7th gear,,been to the dealer twice, they say its fine,,YA SURE BUDDY W/E U SAY!!
other than that, the bikes holding up pretty well, dont think ive even bottomed the shocks out yet,
haha na its a good size,,i thaught it would be too small but now that i got the seat adjusted to the right angle its perfect,,can just put the seat up if im gona cruise around or drop it right down if im gona hit some jumps,,it has 26" tires too with lots of beefy tread, great in mud :)
ya! that's what I love about mine. The katmandu comes with these huge tires that make trailing really fun. Ya i've hit a few umps too, just not big ones because of the shocks being smaller. But other than that the way the bike is set up, its like it was born to do jumps.
ihave a '08 kat, 75mm shocks, disc brakes..was significantly cheaper than any other bike in the store, only a 15" frame, im 6'1 195lbs.other than the cheap plastic pedals, and some struggling to find a comfortable seat position, this bikes a great all around bike, shocks wont withstand a whole lot of jumping,But the Preload adjuster makes a world of difference for various riding styles,it handles great on trails and is perfect for anyone whos not planning on getting too crazy
Ya, I totally agree about the shocks and all, it's a great riding bike and has a comfortable feel. Although, Metal pedals are heavy, I really like the BMX pedal, ,makes your foot have lots of room and grip, I don't really mind the plastic. I do wish mine had disc brakes though.
no im sorry but i wouldnt reccomend this bike for jumping, drops. wheelies are fine. I personally haven't done any but, I have heard of frames snapping. It's also because the shocks are lower quality so they just can't handle it. This bike is mainly a trailing bike, and in fact i took it out today and it performes really well. So if your lloking for a trailing bike, i would totally reccomend it, it just won't handle jumps well.
ok buddy u are a fag i have 125mm shocks on my katmandu new pedals chain guide new rims new bars!!! so i changed it into a dirt jump bike for cheap and everybody likes it so yea maybe u should do some upgrades unless u are a pussy and u dont want to hit jumps??
I highly doubt that. A good set of 125mm shocks would be over 1000$ which in turn would be just better to buy a better bike with a stronger frame. Also new rims for a jumper are about 100$ each.
So you can buy a way better bike actually designed for jumping for 1000$ which be much better than upgrading a cheaper bike with cheaper parts.
hahahah u ad to buy it used
