They REALLY need to institute a simple voting-license system in the US, where people who ACTUALLY care about politics and policies, take a simple ~40 hour course over several months to LEARN.

There should be a voting EXAM where each person casting the vote had to prove that they were well educated on the issues ON BOTH SIDES before they were allowed to cast a vote.
