  • BEAUTIFUL, very very beautiful

  • @hidalgo699 It really is truly beautiful your right my friend..!!! ;-))

  • Esla90 I totally agree and feel the same as you about this song. It has a kind of hypnotic power.

  • I don't know what she says and I love this song... To me this song is about someone remembering making love with her lover and a following heartbreak....

  • what's the lyrics about'? can someone help me with the meaning fo the song lyrics...? what is she singing about¿? THANK YOU!

  • @lavanguardiadelsol Hi there my friend, sorry I cant help you about the lyrics or their

meaning, but I'm sure theirs someone out their who will read your question and get

in touch, I like the mystery of not knowing what Liz is saying in her songs, sorry I couldn't

help my friend, many thanks for your comments good to hear from you. :)

  • @edsbeds Your so right my friend, this is a dreamy track.

its so relaxing, it really takes you to a different plain....

we really dont need to know what Lizs is saying, just enjoy

    the whole experience.....thanks edsbeds.....!!

  • @shum65 Part of the charm is that you can't understand what she's saying. Many artists have since tried to emulate this style, like Yoko Kanno, for example, with her song Green Bird.

  • @Suprasylph Thats so true my friend, I like not knowing what Liz is

singing, it adds to that air of mystery for me, giving the whole experience

an added dimension, its good that people are wanting to emulate this.

Good to hear from you Suprasylph......!!!

  • @shum65 just like lisa gerrard, another amazing singer =)

  • @linguasdegato So true my friend, and both worked together on This Mortal Coil 2..!!

  • They treated Northern Ireland terrible in the 80's. I am 40 and still remember.

I still listen to the music. She was a right cow in belfast.

  • @Cyrusmerlin Hi their, sorry about all the troubles back in the 80s my friend...

    What happened in Belfast though.??

  • Oh my God... the chills... Your videos are so beautiful...

  • Hi dear friend..Its really fab hearing from

ya...Thanks for your kind Friends invite...!!

your enjoying my videos,to this amazing

    band...

    Welcome on board...enjoy the ride...ha.!!

Very Best wishes to ya from Dave....!!!

  • Oh, Pandora... It all began with this song, the whole 25-year-old love story ... which isn't by any means over ;-) To me, it's still their most precious gem, not only of the Treasure album but of their entire artistic output. And no. 5 on the record - it became quite a rule that no. 5 songs have always been my favourites... But this one is like their Chanel no. 5.

  • Hi Qumak13..and what a love story too..

Your right about this pearl..pure heaven.!!

Its so many fans fave too..and to even try

and attempt a video for it,is impossible...

I love what you said about this being their

    Chanel no 5...brilliant comment..!!

    Great hearing from ya mate...!!

  • Is strange how the Twins are the soundtrack of our life to many of us, aren't they?

  • Hi my friend,your right,the Cocteau's,have

been a massive part of my life also..!!

I even began to sing and make my own music, inspired by theirs back in the 80s.

    Good to hear from ya...!!

  • The strange music in my head, it's all I ever wanted to, i love Cocteau Twins, they are just.... fantastic

  • Thanks MissAnnThrope06!! Me too!!

    I think they,re fantasticcccc!!

  • The music never needed an explanation because it didn't deserve one its self explanatory. The art of music is beautiful within itself in its purest form and I can only think this band has taken its meaning to greater heights beyond comprehension. Thanks for the music :).

  • Thanks for their music indeed !!!

A piece of heaven on earth, for us all to enjoy

Thanks synch08!very wise words you have spoken

  • I have to say this song by the Cocteau Twins is what started it all for me :). When I listen to it it doesn't just make you appreciate music but everything you cherish in life. Its an acquired taste thats how I explain my fascination with the Twins. To the people who have come across their music and truly relate its something you can't put into words.

  • Exactly right my friend!!!!!!

  • @synch08 I agree. I just discovered this song through a blog and since I first heared the instrumental and the chorus I just fell in love with it and somehow felt like I related so deep to it. Such a magic feeling, seems like this song suits me and my life so much. I get goosebumps if I turn the volume up honestly and I just wish it continued repeating itself to the infinite.

  • am i rite in thinkin that this is the song used in the bold 2 in 1 infusions advert?

  • I think it was mate! but I,m not overly sure!

Some clever person out their should know!

    Thanks for ya comments feeleze241

  • yeh it iz, but it was mixed in a L.A studio, need to find tht mix, it pretty epic

  • very beautiful video, shum.

thank you for reminding me how great the cocteau twins are.

they have such an amazing catalogue of songs.

  • Your welcome mate!! it is surprising just how

many songs they did!! and all such gems!

  • such depth and beauty - love the way this song tumbles into life and spins me away to that other worldly place that only CTs can open up - beautiful choice shum.

  • Thanks mate !! that's spot on what you said!!

Takes you to another worldly place,as only the

    Cocteau's can!!

    Great comments my friend!, Thanks!!

  • It is such a peaceful, and beautiful song-

both the singing and the music, are at one!

    Thanks for that martinekkes!!

  • C'est un travail vraiment soigner que tu a fait sur la video.C'est tres envoutant et on se laisse entrainer en fermant les yeux.Merci shum65 pour ce moment de partage.

  • Thanks grandehillusion,really pleased you-

enjoyed this awesome song! glad you liked the

video also!! thanks for your ace comments-

sorry for not being able to reply back to you

    in french my friend!!

  • Excellent work again shum!! This song is amazing. I remember at the '96 show here in L.A. someone in the crowd yelled for this song. Liz laughingly replied "That's Favoritism!"

  • Cheers mate !! Hey! wished I was at that- concert, sounds like heaven(or Las Vegas!Ha!)

    Bad joke or what!!

  • Really lovely, Shum! A stand-out track from Treasure (but they are all so good from that album). I've always thought in Pandora, Liz is scat singing like the great Ella Fitzgerald.

  • "Treasure" is just that mate, your right,a real

    treasure trove of an album!

Another fab picture you've conjured up mate,

that of liz and Ella dueting! now that would

    make some top song!!

Thanks for ya brill comments mate!!

  • Shum I was wondering when you would finally post this song :). This is the song that really spiked my interest in the Cocteau Twins. I love all the multilayered sounds you hear with the gentle strumming of the guitar. Lovely.....

  • Thanks mate!! your so right,it such an amazing

song! its so dreamy and yet vulnerable, happy -

and yet theirs a sadness within it,light and

    shade in-fact everywhere you listen!

    As you brilliantly put it."Multi-layered"

Thanks for your top comments mate!!

  • It must have been unreal to be around when they hit their peak in the mid-80s. I wish I could have seen them live. I was wondering also shum what you thought of Ivo-Watts Russell along with John Peel all the people who played such a big part in the Cocteau Twins movement. I'm addicted to the 4AD label and I've found so many related gems. Thanks again!

  • I can always remember John peel championing- the Cocteau's a lot in the early 80s, He was a great supporter of new bands! The first time I ever heard the Cocteau's,was back in 83 I think,on a top live show called The Tube, and they were playing "musette and Drums" it just blew me away, the swirling- guitars, and that amazing voice from Liz!! After that i tried to buy as much of their- records(back then!) as i could. The 4AD label had such a wealth of talent! cheers mate!!
