@ImAdhis Yes, it may very well be a shortcoming of mine that I am not be able to relate to certain topics when they are addressed a certain way, but given a moments thought, I'm sure that all of us have a problem understanding, relating to, or even having the desire to listen to certain, possibly brilliant ideas, when they are formulated in different ways....so yes, I guess that it is too bad for me.....thank you for noticing my shortcomings.....peace!
@nmryda So what? If she threw a "hail satan" in there, it doesn't change the rest of her extremely positive and beneficial message. I'm not into religion like that at all, and like someone mentioned, she was pretty Oprah-guest-esque, but again, that doesn't take anything away from the actual words and message that she shared, unless you decide to make that happen, and then you're just missing out on a great opportunity, as she discussed.
@sentientstill First of all, I never said her talk wasn't good. Second, I wasn't singling her out. A lot of the other videos use those terminologies too. Some of them are still good in spite of it, but that still doesn't take away from the fact that I still don't like it. I don't know what your problem is but whatever.
@nmryda I asked a little question and shared some thoughts... and somehow you decided that I accused you of saying the talk was bad, and that I have a problem. I bet you added on a nice harsh tone to my comment when you read it too, didn't ya? Clearly, you can benefit from what she's talking about, just as I can, and everybody can. If you can't see past the stuff you don't like, or face and process that stuff, you'll never get anywhere, never grow.
@sentientstill Obviously you have a problem because you commented on my comment trying to "school me" on something that I already know and then responded to my response to you. I never said you CAN'T benefit form what she's talking about so I don't know why you keep INSISTING to me that I CAN as if I DIDN'T. Seriously, stop wasting your time arguing irrelevant things.
@sentientstill "If you can't differentiate between what is actually presented to you and what you create, it's very hard to communicate." WTF is that even supposed to mean? If you can't differentiate between a douche and a turd sandwich, are you still retarded? Yes. Btw this was an okay video, nothing really special. There are way way way way better ted talks than this one; I suggest you go watch those.
@sentientstill I understand that you're trying too hard to sound smart but actually sound dumb because you bring up arbitrary points and won't shut up about 'em. On top of that, you bring up these stupid metaphors like you're some kinda bootleg Yoda or somethin'. If you enjoyed the video so much, GREAT; watch it a billion times for all I care. Your arbitrary point has long been noted so you can step down now unless you wanna say something of actual value for a change.
So inspirational!!

That's too bad. If you can't see the lesson past the words someone uses, you're going to miss a lot of gems.

@nmryda You're quite the re-Gifter. Try opening some of 'em first. Then you can start to understand what things mean.
