This Illini team is one of the best teams I've ever seen. Why didn't they crush UNC you ask? James Augustine "fouled out" in the first 7 minutes of the game and the refs gave Sean May free reign to bang and buck around in the paint

Definitely I loved that Louisville team even though I'm an Illini fan. One of these teams shoulda have won than those douchebags on UNC! Sean May is a fatass with a shit NBA career. Taequan Dean, Larry O'Bannon, Francisco Garcia, Deron Williams, Luther Head, Dee Brown, James Augustine...all better than that fat ass.

Mostly because they suck (im an iowa fan so not much room to talk) but compared to mich state, osu, purdue, not even close! Illinois made it to the second round? They arent a basketball powerhouse so of course they are bitter.. Bruce isnt an awful coach... but he has to be one of the worst recruiters in the game. Think about it, if they could pull in state talent who would they have had? Shaun livingston, shannon brown, jon scheyer, dwayne wade, derrick rose, the list goes on and on to who he missed out on. and his brother was jon scheyers high school coach.. bruce hardly recruits in cook county
