  • My left leg is shorter than my right by a considerable amount. Currently I wear chucks with a heal lift. Do you think I would be better with a full Orthotic instead of just a heal lift? I know when I squat i push through my heels, so I'm not sure if it would make a difference. My max is 450lbs x's 2.

  • @o0emikey0o I think if you can do 450 x2 with just a heel life, you are absolutely fine as is, Orthotics are overrated. As long as nothing is TIGHT or hampers you, you are fine :)

  • Amazing tutorial man...I've been doing squats for 7-8 months now, i do them 6 days a week (body weight squats) i started with 3 sets of 10 reps and Im doing hamdulillah 3 sets 1) 50 2)40 3)50...The problem is my thighs are not as sore or as pumped it used to be..what should i do?

    Its not only the squats that i do..its actually a workout program of 40 - 45 mins which includes the squats.

  • GOt a question- i think im safe to say that my squat form is pretty good...however after i squat heavy i feel hipflexor pain and it takes a LONG time for it to recover. Is it possible that during the squat the hip flexor contracts under all that weight and without stretching it it causes pain?

  • @lorddarunia Pain or soreness? I think your hip flexors are tight (HARD to diagnosis over the internet)! I have a stretching video and I'd do some SPECIFIC stretching for that area post exercise and some dynamic warm ups prior to training. :)

  • I keep everything parallel, but when i'm an inch away from the wall it's hard to balance. I'm 6'4" does this have anything to do with it? At about two/two and a half inches i can do it. I also can go all the way down keeping my arms parallel (looked in mirror). Do you think my form is good? The reason i can go pretty far down is because my legs are kinda flexible (used to do taekwondo) not because i'm leaning forward.

  • Hey I'm really enjoying your vids...tons of great info!!

    I was wondering if you have any tips for me on my squatting technique. I have had a bad lower back and hip tightness for a long time. I actually have spondylothesis (cracked vertebra on my L5) that gives me a severe case of lordosis and puts a lot of tension on my hips and hamstrings. I have tried to strengthen my low abs to help realign my hips, but have not had much success. Any advice would be appreciated. Keep the vids coming! thanks

  • great man. What about HOLDING the bar with plates in front of you? Ive tried but its difficult, because I feel like leaning and falling. advices?

  • @GabrielNotTheAngel This means you are leaning too far forward, a better demonstration that I will be showing is how to correctly do front and back squats. For front squat, you need the bar right up on your deltoids and maintain your arms parallel to the ground. The work on technique, stick out your arms and place a barbell (no weight) on the deltoid, squat and work on balancing. Usually its hips not sticking out and body leaning too far forward!

  • Always squat ass to grass. I find that my knees love me more when I do squats like that.
