My grandfather (RIP), had an old Columbia cruiser that looked very similar to to the one in the video. His had a rear carrying rack, and was painted red, and white. He gave it to me around 1972, and I remember putting many miles on it. Not long after, I bought a new 3 speed roadster (Similar to a Raleigh, but made in Japan), and one of my cousins took over the Columbia. We did a lot of riding together to many places. Great memories:)
I like the way the old Goodyear / Columbia's had the Kickstands mount welded into the lowewr chain stays- not bolted on the frame --And I like the way the seat stays do a tubular bend into one tube behind the seat tube, these have a nice feel like no other bicycle - Great Job -
I bought it off of Craigs List, just type in Cruiser in your locale and you should get some hits, also try e-bay. My bike was built in the 80's, I put some all white balloons on it and it looks great, it is made by Columbia.

nice, i've never had a cruiser, i think i might get me one but living in minnesota, i need one with 3 speed or 7 speed cause of the hills

Schwinn makes a real nice 7 speed repop, a little pricey but you can get good deals on used ones. I really like the Black and White ones.

Nice, I believe that is a 5 Star, I just bought a repop on that model, absolutely love it but I wish it was a real oldie!
