wow. i love this scene. i just watched this movie a couple hours ago, actually. its a classic 'scare' line thats known by many. i'm 12, and even i hate the stupid halloween series and saw. its all so "needless" . too much blood. the halloween story may think it has a story to it, but doesn't. its all the same in EVERY movie. kill, kill, and more kill ! i wish we still had movies like this.. i wouldn't be so disgusted with the makers as much as i am with the movies we have noww.. and btw, Rip <3

Here's some trivia regarding those famous lines, "They're here." The original line that Heather said was "They're ALL here." But Steven thought it would flow better if she just said "They're here", instead. Since the scene had already been shot, they edited Heather's lines to the shortened version.. If you look carefully at her mouth, you can actually see her say the original line, "They're all here." I miss Heather very much. She was a beautiful soul.

Nobody really knows how she died. Some say it was some kind of intestinal failure and some say she died from cardiac arrest.

fela7045, Heather was born with a stenosis of her small intestine, which is a severe narrowing. It caused a blockage that eventually ruptured her small intestine. This caused a massive systemic infection called septic shock. The septic shock caused her blood vessels to dialate and her blood pressure to plunge downward, which lead to highly reduced oxygen levels in her system. This in turn starved her brain of oxygen and caused her to go into cardiac arrest and die.
