GREAT JOB SIR! I'm a MA resident, father of 2, who worked very hard to get Scott Brown elected but I remain very depressed about our current leaders. Is there hope on the horizon in your part of the country? Any words of encouragement that I can tell my kids? Keep up the great work. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
@kthmoon - There is hope all over this nation. We just can no longer be fooled by the news media and Hollywood types. The 2nd American revolution will happen this November at the ballot box.
This was fun having a moron give us all a lesson in politics. Thank God for free speech. Thank god for Youtube for giving him a platform. OBTW, didn't Scott Brown just vote for Harry Reid's jobs bill. God Bless America
too bad scott brown has a long liberal streak. oh wait, knowing that would require actual research & knowledge on the subject & idiots like tony rely on "common sense".
Yeah goof, lets bring back republicans, I really miss those years of fear mongering, starting wars for profit, tax cuts for the super rich and 30 years of borrowing and spending. You moron conservatives are going to finish this country off if you ever take it over again.
So Brown is already being called a RINO just because he is endorsing John McCain. I think even Sarah Palin is being accused of being a RINO for the same reason. (with some sexism being thrown in this case)
You guys would be hilarious if your ideals weren't the cause of America's gradual collapse.
You might be surprised to know that as a left-wing progressive who opposes Obamacare for not being progressive enough also takes delight in Brown's victory. A thank you letter to Scott Brown is in order in fact. He just made the case for Single Payer stronger down the road. As he stops a very bad plan, then the miserable current health care status quo will continue to deteriorate thus making it so bad, in the future Republicans will be blamed for this. Then those for Single Payer will win.
In other words, Barack Obama's health care plan relies heavily too much into market mechanisms. Mandating that everyone buy private health insurance is not the answer. When they talked about the Public Option, I was a bit hesitant on that approach as well. The only way to have real health care reform in America is to create a Single Payer system like they have in places like Canada, Sweden, and Australia. I voted for Ralph Nader in 2008, and that's because Barack Obama is too conservative.
Tony, I know some people up there, who told me that Brown was waiting for those libs to say it is Kennedy's seat,...and he was waiting to blast them!!!!

Why do you guys have problems with Elitists after all they own our corporations and banks which is vital for the well being of our country why do you hate those who are higher in social stature and wealth than us you might as well be communists!
@NoGuff: true...Romeny regrets having signed that bill...he sees it is a failure...another bloated, expensive liberal idea...looks good on paper to some...always goes awry...no more of the liberal nonsense....cut all these wasteful entitlement programs....sorry, it's gonna hurt...but better some hurt than all of us lose our ship

He's a Republican, which means very little. Glenn Beck might even say he's a Progressive. Maybe. I just know I can't support him. I'm waiting for a Conservative who has a spine to run for President again.

I never said anything negative against hockey players toughness...I just commented on your ridiculous comment that basketball violence is little girl stuff. There are many violent collisions within and outside the rules of the game involving large people..a fact.
I am proud as I can be about people with common sense realizing the need to take control of a runaway government. And yes, this does say "No" to the bizarre behaviour going on regardless of what spin is coming from supporters of "O".
We must remember though that these voters were pissed off Dems. We have to rethink who they are as well as ourselves. There is a re-found commonality between the two parties and it must become a new face in the political landscape. We the people sounds good again
Medicare reduced the amount of senior citizens who were in poverty. The New Deal was working then FDR decided to scale it back due to the economy improving and what do you know it got worse again. (Even then, many people cite WWII as a huge reason we got out of the depression. Heh, so I guess government spending IS the answer!) America never had a major depression-style economic crisis after the New Deal...that is until Glass-Steagall was gutted in 1999 and we all know what happened after that.
@Joe402: socialism is for losers...that big government nonsense got a shot in the arm from FDR, and we're all reaping the ill effects of a lot of that today....Americans are saying NO to any more liberal/socialist B.S.
ConsR..you guys mistakenly keep confusing anything the government does with socialism. It's curious that those like you didn't complain one bit or use the term socialism as government grew under Reagan and both Bushes.
The country was at it's strongest in the years following FDR until we once again favored corporations over citizens. You believe in corporate welfare but not social. Conservative policies have brought us the 2 income family, day care and declining corporate benefits. Sweet.
@wittumy: nope you have it wrong...it's funny how you presume to know me and presume what I did or didn't complain about...you should have loved the last Bush, he spent like a liberal....we are worse off, cuz the social programs (mostly entitlement programs) have grown outrageously in size and cost ...liberal programs...some that started under FDR...Social Security is one big one...Medicare/Medicaid...illegals allowed to partake in our system, hospitals, etc...liberals are to blame
ConsR...my point is there was no noise whatsoever from you conservatives when Bush was in office nor was there for previous republican presidents who weren't as advertised. Tea parties? Liberals had nothing to do with conservative presidential or congressional spending...take responsibility. I was raised in a republican family. I like many of their ideas. Unfortunately I've yet to see a republican president perform like a republican or even as a conservative....that's why I'm not impressed.
@wittumy: we had this conversation at some point in the past but will have to agree to disagree...Reagan was the last true conservative...he spent to bring the Soviet Union to its knees...Berlin Wall was all Reagan...can try to hide it if you'd like....liberalism has caused us to spend on entitlement programs they established....sorry if you don't like the truth
Consrule....conservatives aren't for more personnally invasive laws...yet Reagan was. They aren't for sticking their noses into other country's business...yet Reagan did. He didn't seem to have a concern for US law either. He, like the rest spoke a great story...their actions just never seem to match the ideals...that's my problem with them. There is nothing wrong with lean government if it's still effective. I love family values but not exclusive ones. I love my guns but think we need controls.
Tony, I mean this with all sincerity, you are Poetry in motion. That dance clip should have been 10 minutes longer. Thanks so much for that!!!!! Regarding the election, while I'm extremely glad the Democrats suffered a loss, and we can finally say ashes to ashes to the Chappaquidick Chump, I am saddened that Brown is just as pro-abortion as Coakley. Not really a moral victory, but definitely a political one.
Thanks for the compliment. That dance was part of a video I made four years ago for my family. As for Scott Brown, we may not agree with him on all issues, however his election did cause the Democrats and the news media to spin into a frenzy.
You have a very lucky family. I have no doubt you are an excellent patriarch. And yes, like I said, I very happy the Democrats saw the last vestiges of their "entitlement" seat flushed down the "terlet". I hope the US will wake up and stop letting the Democrats dictate morality to us. I will also throw in that I hope Brown has at least a Romneyesque conversion and at the very least nominally stops his support for abortion. Still, it's a step in the righ direction.
Thank You for all of your work & your Service to This Country, Marco Rubio's the next weapon Marco & Allen West ! yes Sir. Thank You to All Working for our Freedom & God Bless Our Troops!
What the hell are you talking about? Wasn't it Bush who made the LARGEST federal agency into existence? Man you stinkin republicans are dumb AND blind as a bag or rocks.
usag....that's why I don't make stupid remarks about hockey. I admit hockey is a tough sport but you're talking about much smaller people playing the game too. The impact of two seven foot tall 250 pound guys without pads is hardly as you describe. You obviously haven't watched or played basketball.
Buster, I enjoy your videos and good common sense...too bad we dont have more of it in DC...especially since last January. But time heals all wounds and wounds all heels...Obama and Michelle will be invited to leave very soon. Good Riddance!
Economic disaster happened during Bush's last few months after years of conservative policies. Democratic guy becomes president and a year later the economy is still bad. You blame the democrats entirely for you being worse off economically.
Joe, with all due respect for your opinion...and yes Republicans mess up too (Im an Independent)...but right now its not so much Dems vs Repubs...it's hopefully the people taking off the blinders and adding all the 2's and 2's regarding Barack Obama, then Stopping him before we have no semblence of the USA we have fought for a coupla hundrend years to form and preserve. He will never protect the middle class, he sees us as work horses for his dream of REDISTRIBTION and RESTITUTION. He's sick.
ahaha that's a good one. Your subscriptions page seems to tell me you are actually conservative but are just saying you are "independent" because the Republicans are not right wing enough for you.
usag....how typical of you saying basketball violence is little girl violence. You wouldn't make it 3 minutes in any college or pro basketball game...probably any high school game....you'd have to have someone tell you what happened.
Then why do you vote for a guy who clearly can't keep ANY promise, can't get results and has absolutely no solutions to anything other then enpowering HIMSELF?
Who is this Big Zero of Zero's? It must be Obama himself! Twisting everything around upside down, specious talk, double talk, sounds good but....seemingly correct but not really so, says one thing and does the opposite! As if the world can't see the degenerate Emperor has no clothes...Off that! Zero!
So campaign finance restriction laws have been pretty much neutered tell me why this is good.
I think it is bad because Goldman Sachs will be able to pour infinite money and get some teabagger elected to give corporations more power and take away our liberties.
Basketball has violence it's just demonized more for some reason so they penalize it. I don't even see how the friction of surfaces contributes to the entertainment factor of a sporting event. I don't really follow anything else so maybe I just don't "get" sports.
@USAGymnast healthcare reform beyond what you and your types are wanting to provide was wanted by the American people...that was a large part of the Obama platform....that's why he was elected. If it's passed people will learn it's better than what we have now...and you guys will be toast.
I see everyone here is still talking about the same old, tired shit. (Liberals suck! No way, conservatives suck! Get over yourselves, already!) You guys are almost as pathetic as I. I said almost.
As someone that voted for Obama and throughly disappoited by his performance and that of the Dem controlled Congress I think Scott Brown winning is a great thing. These backroom deals by just a few Dems is disgusting. These dealers deserve less respect than card cheats, child molesters and lawyers. As of this year I will not be on the Dems rolls, instead will be an Independent and I hope millions of Dems follow the same path. Too many good people have died for freedom and fairness.
Let's see democrats swept to a majority in the congress and won the presidency and you guys said there was no mandate..it was republican fatigue and other excuses. Now one victory in Mass. and it's republicans sweeping the nation. You don't understand ...the nation elected Obama to bring in what you call socialist healthcare. This isn't something Obama sprung on the nation so it's not about him. If congress came up with a social security for all bill....they wouldn't have left this opening.
"Politics is the skillful use of blunt instruments"
Lester Pearson
When all you have in your tool box is a yes/no vote and you are really pissed, then you "throw the scoundrels out" and elect the other scoundrels. The vote is really the "fuck you" tool. Certainly no one in federal politics is worthy of being elected, if not for personal reasons then for systemic reasons.
@cjrush1009 when dems got congress and the white house...that was a sign also. We have a lot of people disgusted with congress because they haven't done anything. If they do pass healthcare I wouldn't be holding my breath if I were you.
The bill is dead, 70% of the US voters dont want it and if they do pass the bill without regard for the people then November will be a house cleaning. Beyond that, many states will fight the Health Care on the grounds that it is unconstitutional if the republicans dont dismantle it first.
We strive for democratic revolutions - radical and fundamental changes in the structure and quality of economic, political, and personal relations - to abolish the power now exercised by the few who control great wealth and the government. The Socialist Party is a democratic, multi-tendency organization, with structure and practices visible and accessible to all members.
The working class is the major force worldwide that can lead the way to a socialist future - to a real radical democracy from below. The Socialist Party fights for progressive changes compatible with a socialist future. We support militant working class struggles and electoral action, independent of the capitalist controlled two-party system, to present socialist alternatives.
where workers have the right to form unions freely, and to strike and engage in other forms of job actions; and where the production of society is used for the benefit of all humanity, not for the private profit of a few. We believe socialism and democracy are one and indivisible. The working class is in a key and central position to fight back against the ruling capitalist class and its power.
THE SOCIALIST PARTY strives to establish a radical democracy that places people's lives under their own control - a non-racist, classless, feminist socialist society... where working people own and control the means of production and distribution through democratically-controlled public agencies; where full employment is realized for everyone who wants to work
So your a bunch of feminists to? Another thing that ruined the USA. I have an idea, lets put all the women to work so somebody else can raise your child. and since there's twice the workers companies will only pay half as much and because a feminist wont do what a man tells them to do well that means divorce so now your a single parent making half the money, but hey, your contributing to society and being a well trained socialist. (sorry about the run-on sentences)
@caseyjams Your salary's not cut in half because of working women you brainless retard. More prolific workers just means bigger and more numerous firms.
It's a socialist society in the first place to oppress women and not allow them to work.
Female workers had been impetus for the economy you dolt. It just means the economy becomes more active and filled with higher innovation.
Are you a sexist just cause you're not gettin any?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Scott Brown is a young inexperienced newcomer who came out of nowhere and has campaigned on change and he is quickly becoming a celebrity like figure he reminds me of someone else I can't remember his name though.
The Democrats didn't do anything with their supermajority despite what the guys at Fox News might be telling you. George W. Bush did more with 55. I'm very indifferent about this maybe now this health care bill will die which is really conservative by the way since it benefits private insurers.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
It's gonna be funny when Republicans take back congress and the presidency by riding the wave of economic populism but then we find out they were lying too and they aren't populists and they will continue to give Goldman Sachs more tax payer money and they will give us the Democrats health care bill because it benefits their donors the health insurance companies. Have fun :)
Basically we in the USA do not trust government. We were founded by people believing governments are evil, but necessary. That is why they designed our government to be small. However over the years people have twisted our birth-right into an uncontrollable intrusive monster. Healthcare by out government we believe would be all too intrusive. Also we can not find authorization for it in our Constitution. We believe in individualism where people are responsible for themselves.
Fair enough, thanks for the explanation PB. I understand the motivation of the government to introduce health care reforms. I'd imagine it'd be wrong to have people without health insurance or denying people with insufficient money important treatment. Isn't it a moral obligation to take care of the sick and dying? Is that what the government is after, or is there more to it than that? I hope the opposition isn't completely based on conservatism and fear of the s word.
Hospitals already have to treat people for free if it is a life / death issue. So in that reference the care is there. Plus there are many free hospitals and private organization that help the poor get healthcare. In the USA in most cases the private sector gets the job better than our blotted government. The problem with healthcare in the USA is that the government needs to get out of the way, not get in further.
No, they do not have to treat people "for free" if it is a life or death issue. They have to *treat* you if it's a life or death issue, but you will be charged for it. And if you can't pay the bills, they will be turned over to a collection agency, etc. There are not nearly enough "free hospitals" and private organizations providing health care to the working poor. And why is it wrong for us to demand that this be one of the services provided us for our tax dollars? You've got it bass-ackward.
don't be so sure on this Sen. Brown yet. We thought Bush was going to be one thing and it turned out he tripled govt. regardless of 9/11. Now Obummer quadrupled it. I predict like with bush, and obummer, that the next pres. will be a republican, and will continue the same path.... and again, you'll get tired of him, then it will switch back again. Wake up people from the false left right paradigm.
well its good to see and its good to see that you are starting to see that republicans and demecrats are 1 in the same. its not political parties that matter, (after all it was our own bushs that help take away our freedom) it matters of what being a True American means. American over political parties.
The Election of Col. Brown to the US Senate is a stake into the heart of liberalism as we know it. Ted Kennedy's seat and district!! Bullseye! Now the bad news----Obama will now become dangerous and desperate. He could start a war on some pretext and everybody knows Iran is the bunny. Next year's election will finish Obama's agenda and the 2012 election will throw Obama from office---if not sooner.
Why are Republican men a million times more attractive than them dem "men"?? AND they can really dance so good too! ; ) But I digress, PB, do you think the writing is on the wall??????
good points, thing is all the democrats that voted for this agenda need to be put up to scrutiny. Most of them have been in office long enough to be totally held accountable.
The Progressives are on an idealogical crusade. What the people desire or want is of no consequence to them. What matters to the Progressives is what they want to do to the people of America for the American people's own good.
@USAGymnast "They killed off people who were not able to read"
I'm sure they did, but not because they were unable to read, so it has no bearing on the drastic improvement to literacy rates.
"their industries been anywhere near as good as capitalist countries"
They were better than every right wing capitalist country & better than when they were capitalist themselves.
"destroyed their architecture and religious institutions."
That changes the fact that their economies improved remarkably, how?

Liberals had nothing to do with conservative presidential or congressional spending...take responsibility. I was raised in a republican family. I like many of their ideas. Unfortunately I've yet to see a republican president perform like a republican or even as a conservative....that's why I'm not impressed.
wittumy 2 years ago
@wittumy: we had this conversation at some point in the past but will have to agree to disagree...Reagan was the last true conservative...he spent to bring the Soviet Union to its knees...Berlin Wall was all Reagan...can try to hide it if you'd like....liberalism has caused us to spend on entitlement programs they established....sorry if you don't like the truth
ConservativeRuleinUS 2 years ago

Not really a moral victory, but definitely a political one.
capone70 2 years ago
Thanks for the compliment. That dance was part of a video I made four years ago for my family. As for Scott Brown, we may not agree with him on all issues, however his election did cause the Democrats and the news media to spin into a frenzy.
PropagandaBuster 2 years ago
You have a very lucky family. I have no doubt you are an excellent patriarch. And yes, like I said, I very happy the Democrats saw the last vestiges of their "entitlement" seat flushed down the "terlet". I hope the US will wake up and stop letting the Democrats dictate morality to us. I will also throw in that I hope Brown has at least a Romneyesque conversion and at the very least nominally stops his support for abortion. Still, it's a step in the righ direction.

The Socialist Party is a democratic, multi-tendency organization, with structure and practices visible and accessible to all members.
amsterdam78 2 years ago
The working class is the major force worldwide that can lead the way to a socialist future - to a real radical democracy from below. The Socialist Party fights for progressive changes compatible with a socialist future. We support militant working class struggles and electoral action, independent of the capitalist controlled two-party system, to present socialist alternatives.
amsterdam78 2 years ago
where workers have the right to form unions freely, and to strike and engage in other forms of job actions; and where the production of society is used for the benefit of all humanity, not for the private profit of a few. We believe socialism and democracy are one and indivisible. The working class is in a key and central position to fight back against the ruling capitalist class and its power.
amsterdam78 2 years ago
THE SOCIALIST PARTY strives to establish a radical democracy that places people's lives under their own control - a non-racist, classless, feminist socialist society... where working people own and control the means of production and distribution through democratically-controlled public agencies; where full employment is realized for everyone who wants to work
amsterdam78 2 years ago
So your a bunch of feminists to? Another thing that ruined the USA. I have an idea, lets put all the women to work so somebody else can raise your child. and since there's twice the workers companies will only pay half as much and because a feminist wont do what a man tells them to do well that means divorce so now your a single parent making half the money, but hey, your contributing to society and being a well trained socialist. (sorry about the run-on sentences)
caseyjams 2 years ago
@caseyjams Your salary's not cut in half because of working women you brainless retard. More prolific workers just means bigger and more numerous firms.
It's a socialist society in the first place to oppress women and not allow them to work.
Female workers had been impetus for the economy you dolt. It just means the economy becomes more active and filled with higher innovation.

Have fun :)
Joe402 2 years ago
Just a sidestep from the video but I'm curious; why are so many people against that health care reform?
Squig2510 2 years ago
Basically we in the USA do not trust government. We were founded by people believing governments are evil, but necessary. That is why they designed our government to be small. However over the years people have twisted our birth-right into an uncontrollable intrusive monster. Healthcare by out government we believe would be all too intrusive. Also we can not find authorization for it in our Constitution. We believe in individualism where people are responsible for themselves.
PropagandaBuster 2 years ago
Fair enough, thanks for the explanation PB. I understand the motivation of the government to introduce health care reforms. I'd imagine it'd be wrong to have people without health insurance or denying people with insufficient money important treatment. Isn't it a moral obligation to take care of the sick and dying? Is that what the government is after, or is there more to it than that? I hope the opposition isn't completely based on conservatism and fear of the s word.
Squig2510 2 years ago
Hospitals already have to treat people for free if it is a life / death issue. So in that reference the care is there. Plus there are many free hospitals and private organization that help the poor get healthcare. In the USA in most cases the private sector gets the job better than our blotted government. The problem with healthcare in the USA is that the government needs to get out of the way, not get in further.
PropagandaBuster 2 years ago
