@nidagichole It's just for people who don't like to have a bunch of single eyeshadows around. If you don't mind single eyeshadows, there's not really a point in depotting. (: The mac palette is probably just because they fit in there and it's a proper place to store eyeshadows together where they won't get wet or ruined.
Sorry, I don't own any Annabelle quads but they fit into the MAC palettes and quads. If the Annabelle quads are any similar to the MAC, then they probably fit.
Do you ever use Trish McEvoy magnetic planners? You can incorporate different shapes and sizes of color pans. And you don't have to buy magnetic strips.
I did this method a lot with normal MAC shadows and it worked fine, but when I did it with cheaper ones, the pan would bend and the whole eyeshadow would break. ):
hey love this method, i used a small utility screwdriver set and it fits perfect in between the pan and pot. it's those small screwdrivers used for eyeglass screws.
Why don't you just soak the knife in alcohol and leave alcohol on it and put it in the open slit on the shadow and container.I think that wouldn't mess them up as much as the dropper.Just a suggestion.
tHANKS MUCH I JUST MENTIONED YOU IN MY LATEST VID WHICH WAS A RESPONSE TO MELFORMAKEUPS HAUL. SHE HAD PROBLEMS DEPOTTING HER LANCOME AND I HAVE SINCE ADOPTED YOUR METHOD FOR ALL EYESHADOWS THAT ARENT MAC. THANKS GIRL. P.S. SORRY FOR THE CAPS I REALIZED IT HALF WAY AND I WAS TOO LAZY TO CHANGE LOL
Thanks so much for mentioning me and I'm glad the video helped you. You're Welcome! =) Wow your Lancome only took 2 minutes? The Wet n Wild one took me way longer. I guess they use a lot of glue.
You can depot shadows to compile them in palettes so that it takes up less space and you can put similar colors together. It's just better organization. =)
They have really light colors but for light colors they have a good texture and are pretty good in pigmentation, for LIGHT colors. Fine Wink and Naked are my favorites.
You're Welcome! Glad it helped. I use my new Canon PowerShot SD750. Love it! In my older vids I used my 3 and a half year old Canon PowerShot A75, which also was a great cam, but it died recently. =(
Great vid thanks for the advice! Btw what song is that at the beginning and end of the vid? (:

so wet n wild eyeshadows fit in mac 15 pan palette?
makeupbeauty209 1 year ago
Yes they do. The pans are a little higher than most pans but they still fit into the pallete.
Lostris143 1 year ago

i think it's easier to use a exacto knife rather than a kitchen knife. i've tried that many times and no need for alcohol or heating involved.
baebiboo 2 years ago
hi ya i jus wanted 2 ask do the e.l.f costom eyeshadows fit into the MAC palletts :D
iLOvEMaKeUpTV 2 years ago
Yes! The elf eyeshadows fit perfectly into the MAC palettes. I think they fit even better than the MAC e/s.
Lostris143 2 years ago
if you don't have Alcohol, would anything else work?
besides heat. lol i wouldn't trust myself.. :P
plussizebeauty89 2 years ago
I don't know but u should only use rubbing alcohol. It's pretty cheap and you can find it anywhere

GeminiAGogo 2 years ago
If you twist and pry a lot the pans bend easily. They're pretty much the same material in all eyeshadows.

lucky06680821 3 years ago
You can depot shadows to compile them in palettes so that it takes up less space and you can put similar colors together. It's just better organization. =)
Lostris143 3 years ago
wow this was really helpful, last time depotted wwms it was a mess now i know better
desi1790 3 years ago
Glad it was helpful! Just be sure to not bend your pans or pry them up to hard because the eyeshadow will shatter and we don't want that =)
Lostris143 3 years ago
can u order it ??
DJ1734 3 years ago
Go to macpro(dot com) and find the toll free number to call and you can order it without being a Pro member.
Lostris143 3 years ago
how much is the pallet and can u get in macys or other store besides mac??
DJ1734 3 years ago
It's $12 and you can only get it from freestanding MAC stores, not the department store counters.
Lostris143 3 years ago
so.. u can't get it at the macys mac deparment??
DJ1734 3 years ago
Nope you can't.
Lostris143 3 years ago

xHeleners 3 years ago
I just used an eyedropper to drop the alcohol in there. Just regular rubbing alcohol in a bottle. HTH
Lostris143 3 years ago
where can we find these eye shadows? like walmart or a drugstore? =O
sugarbaby45 3 years ago
I got mine at a drugstore where I usually see them. My Walmart doesn't have Wet N Wild for some reason but Target's should have them. HTH

freshxsoul 3 years ago
LoL! I didn't realize I was whispering because I was trying to concentrate hard on the depotting without chipping it. No great secrets there... =)
Lostris143 3 years ago
Thanks Candi. I guess we all end up chipping our eyeshadows with our fingernails anyway. Hehe =)
Lostris143 3 years ago
genious
rtowers1 3 years ago
Genious? LoL. Not really. I chipped 3 out of 5 shadows. But it's all good! :)

iphigenaia 3 years ago
Yeah! That would work. Good idea :)

I bent the pan =(
thatgirl887 3 years ago
I wore Fine Wink as a lid color today and it was really pretty. Nice shimmer to it also.
Aww, sorry about the bent pan. I've done that to one of my NYX ones but it's still usable! Hehe.
Lostris143 3 years ago
