  • Great vid thanks for the advice! Btw what song is that at the beginning and end of the vid? (:

  • Comment removed

  • thanks <3

  • here's my question:why would anyone want to do this? I like this video, but I've never considered depotting wet n wild into a mac palette

  • @nidagichole It's just for people who don't like to have a bunch of single eyeshadows around. If you don't mind single eyeshadows, there's not really a point in depotting. (: The mac palette is probably just because they fit in there and it's a proper place to store eyeshadows together where they won't get wet or ruined.

  • cherub and naked r my favorite colors!!!! i use them almost every day!!!

  • @horserider23141, Fine Wink is actually one of my fave lid colors. I think these are discontinued though. =( But I love their new Color Icon shadows!

  • so wet n wild eyeshadows fit in mac 15 pan palette?

  • Yes they do. The pans are a little higher than most pans but they still fit into the pallete.

  • will the wet n wild eye shadows stay in the annabelle quads?

  • Sorry, I don't own any Annabelle quads but they fit into the MAC palettes and quads. If the Annabelle quads are any similar to the MAC, then they probably fit.

  • @Lostris143 kay thanks:)

  • thanks for the tut.

if i ever depot my wnw, i'll use your method!

  • awesome video...thanks!

  • your nails are so healthy and strong,do you do anything to keep them that way?

  • I don't do anything special but put lotion on them and I don't wear nail polish for more than 5 days. But thanks! =)

  • thank you sooo much!

  • I love these videos! Very informative! Keep them coming :)

  • i actually got mine out by just prying it out without it cracking/bending

  • Do you ever use Trish McEvoy magnetic planners? You can incorporate different shapes and sizes of color pans. And you don't have to buy magnetic strips.

  • i think it's easier to use a exacto knife rather than a kitchen knife. i've tried that many times and no need for alcohol or heating involved.

  • hi ya i jus wanted 2 ask do the e.l.f costom eyeshadows fit into the MAC palletts :D

  • Yes! The elf eyeshadows fit perfectly into the MAC palettes. I think they fit even better than the MAC e/s.

  • if you don't have Alcohol, would anything else work?

besides heat. lol i wouldn't trust myself.. :P

  • I don't know but u should only use rubbing alcohol. It's pretty cheap and you can find it anywhere

  • I did this method a lot with normal MAC shadows and it worked fine, but when I did it with cheaper ones, the pan would bend and the whole eyeshadow would break. ):

  • If you twist and pry a lot the pans bend easily. They're pretty much the same material in all eyeshadows.

  • If you nick it you could always repress it.

  • thanks so much

    this worked!

  • You're Welcome =)

    Glad it worked!

  • do the MAC pallets have eyeshadow in them or can you like buy one w/o anything in it...

stupid question but like i wanted to know..

  • Nope they are empty

  • oh nevermind you answered that in the end! haha thanks

  • did you just put it in a mac palete? i didnt know if the wet n wild e/s were the same size as the mac ones or not...

  • very cool! thanks!

  • Wow. Is it me or does that pan look really deep?

  • It's a little deeper than most but it still fits in the palettes.

  • hey love this method, i used a small utility screwdriver set and it fits perfect in between the pan and pot. it's those small screwdrivers used for eyeglass screws.

  • I use tweezers to get the pan out and it never gets messed up. Just a sugestion to maybe try.

  • Thanks! :)

  • Why don't you just soak the knife in alcohol and leave alcohol on it and put it in the open slit on the shadow and container.I think that wouldn't mess them up as much as the dropper.Just a suggestion.

  • tHANKS MUCH I JUST MENTIONED YOU IN MY LATEST VID WHICH WAS A RESPONSE TO MELFORMAKEUPS HAUL. SHE HAD PROBLEMS DEPOTTING HER LANCOME AND I HAVE SINCE ADOPTED YOUR METHOD FOR ALL EYESHADOWS THAT ARENT MAC. THANKS GIRL. P.S. SORRY FOR THE CAPS I REALIZED IT HALF WAY AND I WAS TOO LAZY TO CHANGE LOL

  • Thanks so much for mentioning me and I'm glad the video helped you. You're Welcome! =) Wow your Lancome only took 2 minutes? The Wet n Wild one took me way longer. I guess they use a lot of glue.

    LOL about the capitals :)

  • You are so clever. :D Thanks for sharing your tip on removing eye shadows from containers. :)

  • You're Welcome! =) Thanks for taking the time to watch.

  • ur nails are s pretty nd your voice is really sweet. nd this video surely helped

  • Thanks so much hun! =)

  • What Is The Pont Of Depotting Just Wondering

  • You can depot shadows to compile them in palettes so that it takes up less space and you can put similar colors together. It's just better organization. =)

  • wow this was really helpful, last time depotted wwms it was a mess now i know better

  • Glad it was helpful! Just be sure to not bend your pans or pry them up to hard because the eyeshadow will shatter and we don't want that =)

  • can u order it ??

  • Go to macpro(dot com) and find the toll free number to call and you can order it without being a Pro member.

  • how much is the pallet and can u get in macys or other store besides mac??

  • It's $12 and you can only get it from freestanding MAC stores, not the department store counters.

  • so.. u can't get it at the macys mac deparment??

  • Nope you can't.

  • is that a mac pallet in your video?

  • Yes it is a MAC palette

  • this is a really super helpful method. i love how we dont have to use heat. love this way!

  • I didn't want to burn through the plastic because of the toxic fumes. *cough* Glad it helped! =)

  • awesome! How Cool!!

  • thanks for the helpful hints :]

  • where do they sell acholl in a tube or wat it eye drops ?

  • I just used an eyedropper to drop the alcohol in there. Just regular rubbing alcohol in a bottle. HTH

  • where can we find these eye shadows? like walmart or a drugstore? =O

  • I got mine at a drugstore where I usually see them. My Walmart doesn't have Wet N Wild for some reason but Target's should have them. HTH

  • great video!! how pigmented is it? i dont really like my elf ones, but i love my jane and nyx ones

  • They have really light colors but for light colors they have a good texture and are pretty good in pigmentation, for LIGHT colors. Fine Wink and Naked are my favorites.

  • haha!

I like when you whispered, it was like a secret :)

  • LoL! I didn't realize I was whispering because I was trying to concentrate hard on the depotting without chipping it. No great secrets there... =)

  • Thanks Candi. I guess we all end up chipping our eyeshadows with our fingernails anyway. Hehe =)

  • genious

  • Genious? LoL. Not really. I chipped 3 out of 5 shadows. But it's all good! :)

  • your video is SO clear! i dont even need to watch it in high definition!!

  • LoL! But it does look better in HD. haha =D

  • Nice idea :) I need to get some palettes :\

  • Thanks! Palettes are fun :)

  • Lostris, how about using a syringe with needle instead of the eyedropper?

  • Yeah! That would work. Good idea :)

  • Thanks for the tutorial!!! It was very helpful. I was wondering what kind of camera do you use? Because it shows so much detail.

  • You're Welcome! Glad it helped. I use my new Canon PowerShot SD750. Love it! In my older vids I used my 3 and a half year old Canon PowerShot A75, which also was a great cam, but it died recently. =(

  • I love Fine Wink! =)

I should've watched this vid before trying to depot mine..

    I bent the pan =(

  • I wore Fine Wink as a lid color today and it was really pretty. Nice shimmer to it also.

Aww, sorry about the bent pan. I've done that to one of my NYX ones but it's still usable! Hehe.

  • what drugstore exactly can you purchase these.

    great video by the way

  • I got mine at Long's Drug but pretty much any drugstore has them, even Target.

    Thanks! :)

  • hmmm i might have to try these. you just CANNOT beat 1.99...

  • They're pretty good I must say but I got them on sale for $1.49. Woo Hoo! :D

  • These are my first WnW eyeshadows and I'm really happy with them too! =)

  • wet n wild eye shadows are surprisingly great quality. i love them. :)
