as much as i loved this song when i was a kid...in june my first child was born 2 months premature..A little boy, he had something called vacterl, everyday when i went in to see him, before i could hold him, i would hold his hand and sing this to him in hopes he would get stronger...40 days after he was born, he had caught menigitis so his daddy and I had to pull his life support and I sang this to him that night, and after 3 hours of being free of support he died peacefully in his daddys arms.
