  • You weere already popping the skank when this was made..The feds have a secret 'double punch' waiting Johnnie..Look out, you WILL end up in Jail and lose your 'fortune'''''''''

  • I wish John Edwards was the President of the United States.

  • Lying scum! You knew when this video was made! YOU ARE COMPLETE LOW-LIFE TRAILER TRASH

  • John Edwards possesses infectious optimism and can-do spirit. We need that here in America again.

  • Edwards in 2008! Time for Change is NOW! John Edwards is the change we need!

  • Except the corporate America dont like John because he goes against their beliefs he had an affair which makes it easier for them to silence him

  • Don't support a CFR member. Google Rockefeller fears Ron Paul. Rockefeller created the CFR. He has stated many times his ideas for a new world government. Don't support candidates such as Edwards who puts there agenda before that of the American people. Google Ron Paul. Don't be tricked and become a puppet like so many Americans since 1913 when they income tax was implemented when it is not covered in the 16th amendment!

  • "Who's gonna do it, when I don't?"

Call me naive, I think he's serious.

    Edwards 08

  • You're naive.

To change that, read his speech on the CFR.

    Check his voting record.

He's talking a lot, but is a neocon inside.

Just like Obama speaks about "hope" and "hope" (not to forget "hope") and wants to attack Iran AND Pakistan (?!). And let's not talk about Hellary Killton...

  • you get my vote so far. my best to elizabeth and family.

  • John Edwards for President!!!...

  • What is this CFR anyway? Better check it out. Newt Gingrich CFR Dick Cheney CFR John McCain CFR Rudy Giuliani CFR Al Gore CFR Fred Thompson CFR Hillary Clinton CFR Barack Obama CFR Joseph Biden CFR Bill Richardson CFR John Edwards CFR
  • missing: Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich

  • John Edwards '08!

Edwards is definitely the best candidate!

Edwards does NOT accept any money from lobbyists or PACs!

(People need to know who funds Hilary and Obama--they have major hypocrisy going on!)

  • Is the chair his running mate? Is he a priest? America needs to know.

  • Great Video! Edwards has the best ideas for our country!

  • Umm, nice pole.

  • JOHN EDWARDS- " There's no such thing as a Global War on Terror" REALLY!!!

  • MSNBC News Services

Updated: 11:12 p.m. PT July 4, 2007BAGHDAD - Al-Qaida's deputy leader sought to bolster the terror network's main arm in Iraq in a new video released Thursday, calling on Muslims to rally behind it at a time when the group is on the defensive, faced with U.S. offensives and splits with other insurgent groups.

  • Edwards would be TEN times as good a president as the clowns in my Whitehouse right now. The right fear him, because head to head, he can whip any one of the GOPs candidates, and they know it.

  • Absolutely the only candidate with a true progressive agenda, who is interested in my success not just his own.

  • haha god you people are fucking crazy. morons like edwards won't even recognize that theres a global war on terror. and wants to baby the poor wittle baby terrorist..cant get a little water on them. give me a fucking break. i for the life of me can't think of one reason to vote for this dude...if he had it his way, the government would be wiping our asses for us. because, you know we can't think for ourselves...most of his supporters probably like that kind of thing.

  • There is a great utube video on Edwards and terrorism. I think you would approve. Remember you need to look beyond the Corp. media. Look at his website.

  • NO you are wrong. Edwards is just the greatest.

  • here with go with the 'fox news is evil' bullshit. get a fucking grip people. all of the other networks are run by liberals. so conservatives have ONE network to themselves and it somehow becomes the brunt of a bunch of attacks. its pointless and stupid. comparing terrorists to fox news is about as dumb as you can get. no wonder its only a bunch of rejects who vote for morons like john edwards.

  • Journalism is about asking questions, and shining light on the shadows - not cheering sections.

You're welcome to your network. Just don't call it "news" or "journalism."

Fox even won a court case that the news didn't have to be true. Google for Fox and "bovine growth hormone."

  • The head of Viacom is a Democrat who said he'll be voting Republican because they are better for VIACOM. It's about the business, not the party. All of the networks are run in the name of corporate interests, which are not "liberal," by nature. The ownership writes the checks, and has control over the content no matter how many people in the industry are "registered Democrats." Democrats in the military follow Bush's orders. Democrats in the media, do you expect different?

  • Monsanto 'made' 2 of Fox news top reporters FIRE THEM because they were reporting the truth. Check out Fox news and monsanto .

  • this guy is a phony. he cant even debate fox news..how in the hell can he take on terrorists and lead the country? he belongs in a barn or trailer park.

  • That's your standard for "phony"?

But I'm glad to see you've put FOX and the terrorists in the same category.

  • Yes fox and terrorists are both dangerous

  • Who are you supporting then?

Look at his policies, they are the most comprehensive of ANY candidate,Democrat or Republican.

  • Why should a candiate be debating an alleged "news" channel? You proved your own self stupid. FAUX VIEWS CHANNEL is supposed to be OBJECTIVE, not INJECTIVE. Faux Views Channel is the media, propaganda arm of the Republican party. The goal of John Edwards was not to HELP THEM RAISE REVENUE for their attacks by drawing attention to them in the name of the Democratic party (debate). It's about strategy, not fear, simpleton.

  • This guy doesn't need to debate. He knows whats right and thats all that matters. Anyone who knows the difference between white and black will choose him.

  • You've just had the Bush years in your mind. People don't mind "big government" - millions rely on social security, and any number of successful programs. What people don't like is ineffective, intrusive government - what we've had since January of 2001.

Health care, for instance, isn't "market driven." It's insurance-driven. It's profit-driven. The market is good for squeezing out inefficiencies, but it's not good at delivering health care to a broad population.

  • What I see after this mess is, if Clinton gets in she'll choose Edwards for Vice.

  • Clinton is power hungry and corporation driven. She is the candidate with the most lobbyists $ (Democrat or Republican). I am a woman and a Democrat and YES our country is ready for a woman, but not this woman.

  • Let's assume for the moment that he is a nice, honest guy. His solution is still wrong. More government, higher taxes and less liberty for the individual is not a perscription for what is wrong with this country. We need someone who believes in liberty...like Ron Paul.

  • That's the honest part you are hearing. Others will tell you,oh I won't tax you and behind your back they will. Edwards is telling you face to face.

  • But unless you're making something over 200K a year, he probably isn't talking to you about raising your taxes.

Look at what the rich are getting away with compared to the past:

Go to truthandpolitics dot org slash top-rates dot php.

  • Ron Paul wants to do away with Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, public education, and most public programs. Ron Paul is a radical. Stop being fooled by his ONE POSITION on Iraq. There are more issues than that, you know?

  • I love this video. Thanks so much.

  • if edwards wants to address poverty, he should drop out of the race and support Mitt Romney. Let someone lead who understands economics

  • I am tired of superficial comments. Who cares what his motivation is for addressing poverty-at least he addresses it. Why can't criticism be fact-based and respectful? I am sick of CEO's making millions off workers whom they grudgingly award 2% raises. We need strong unions and a fair tax system. We need to end the war and slow global warming. We need serious campaigns to match these times. At least Edwards is out there advocating for the poor, the uninsured, the working class. Give him a break.

  • The Clinton 'mean' Smear campaign has started! They're smearing Edwards and Obama.

Google the phrase "CLINTON'S PUSHY POLLSTERS" and read the story on newsdaydotcom.

  • Poor Edwards. HA! The savior of the poor; who can't talk for themselves. Hes got PERSONAL AGENDA written all over him.

  • Move the chair. Every country that is running well will have some poor people. Sad but true. Stay home and raise your kids.

  • The chair is inhabited by a person. Apart from the angle, which is weird...I believe this is a video they played at one of the grass roots house parties. It was extemporaneous (sp?) and come on, we know he didn't mean to advocate for poverty but for the poor. And after alll the malopropisms (sp?) of George W. this is so totally no big deal, a little slip. I read that he is ahead of all the Repubicans in the polls. Good for him.

  • Is he talking to the chair post?

  • "...well people criticize me, saying, you know...you're out there trying to advocate part..uh...poverty...my answer is: who's gonna do it if I don't?"

    Dear Mr. Edwards -

You have just told your audience that it is your desire to "advocate poverty." Most viable candidates are against poverty, and would therefore say that they are "advocates for the impoverished" - a completely different concept from what you have just said - word for word.

  • Edwards asks a good question, who is going to talk about poverty if he doesn't? He speaks for those who don't have the resources to be heard except through him. He will lead the way for universal health care, living wages, affordable college and new green collar jobs. This video, like his campaign, is about ideas.

  • Lame. Why did they put someone sitting right in front the camera? What's the point of this? Are we suppose to believe this was totally unscripted? It all of a sudden took place while a camera was sitting on a kitchen counter and just happened to turn on? Let me guess, the Edwards are a victim of the Patriot Act, right? Is this what is going on? Darn that Bush!

  • well its obviously a interview there bud.

  • Yes, a lame one at that. You would think with all that money they could do better than this. Come on, now.

  • HEY,J GRIFFITH-Who are you supporting??

  • Anyone but Edwards. Do not want to see America make the mistake with Edwards that we made in NC a few years ago.

I learned my lesson with this guy when he was our senator - mr 89% attendance record with less than 50% attendance the last 2 years he was in office.

I use to like Obama, but, he is wearing thin. Some of the third tier dems like Romney look OK, but, doubt they will make it. If Thompson runs, probably will get my support. Its not much of a field on either side IMHO.
