sometimes I think this guy is really really stupid, because I see him play and not figure out the simplest of obstacles; like it took him forever to blow up the rocks to get through, I mean the douche bag has been doing that until now and suddenly he forgets to use grenades to blow up rocks.

I didnt watched his Prototype playthrough, but it depends in wich level you play. Try in Normal, its preety complicated, and no talk about Hard XD

its not the levels its the way he plays, for example he tried to get on top of the building and he started punching the wall, instead of going on top of another building and jumped

You need missles to blow up red doors and you need the foom gun to to destroy purple. You get these later on in the game.
