@buhamut66 you still have other missions in San Fiero that you must go through first. I think this was covered by another poster earlier in these comments. Look on your map for other mission markers. I played the PS2 version and was able to finish the last missions before going back and finishing this one.

I just finished this mission on the ps2 with EXACTLY no fuel.....i didn't know it the plane was gonna drop or keep chugging,....so i just dove at the red circle and made it....hahaha

I did as little of the dating missions as I could. My friends were frustrated with them and warned me. I think 1 or 2 are required and I must've muddled through them somehow.

Yeah, I have version 1 too, it's good to finally see someone do it when you lose fuel whether you hit X or not, so the real secret is to knock out the first three quickly from the sky, then the other two won't be as far out. . .thanks, hope this helps

Hey hamsasio, don't give up on the whole game. You don't HAVE to finish this mission in order to complete the game. You should still have other missions available in San Fiero or in the Badlands...

i did this, i killed the three vans just like in this video, and then when you have to kill the last boy in the bike and the last van i landed the plane right in kings where theres a green area , the green area is between chinatown and downtown, then the van and the boy aproach a little bit to me, not right in front of me, but that makes you save a little fuel because you dont have to chase them too much

, you just wait there and they will come but not right in front of you , only a little

Congratulations, Jorge! It sounds like you hit the last bike courier on that same green grass where I happened to get lucky in my video. Now you get to try the RC helicopter mission "New Model Army". It's not the easiest mission but it's a breeze compared to what you just went through.

I don't know, imys1. I could NEVER get them to come to me. You just have to keep trying. I couldn't find any magic fix to get any of the vans or bikes to come to me. On the contrary, they always ran away from me. LUCK and perserverance, imys1... keep trying.

Yo comprendo, Jorge. It's a monster. The only way it's going to happen is LUCK and keep plugging away at it. If you go in thinking "I'm going to spend the next ?? hours practicing this mission" then you'll be in the right frame of mind. Also, study the flight paths of my video and of the others you'll find online. Also, when you can, COAST down towards the one in hippie town. Mostly, just plug away at it and you'll eventually hit a winning run. Eventually...

wow, I finally completed this after I don't know how many tries. I realized that its mostly just luck. It all depends on where the vehicles are randomly placed during a given try. Also, I must have the older version because my plane uses gas when I'm in the air no matter if no buttons are pressed.

Congrabulations! You were probably playing the PS2 version, where the fuel meter is what makes it difficult. I think the fuel meter was tweaked for the PC version. I'm not sure about the Xbox port though...

supafly51: I press start to check the map to make sure I know EXACTLY where the targets are. They have a tendency to move in odd, unpredictable patterns and I like to know where I'm going at every second. Especially when you're dealing with limited time.

Well, spideyYOYO, there's no trick. I wish there was but the only way I beat it was to play it many, many times and get lucky. I also watched all the different videos on youtube and borrowed tricks from each (like not landing to hit the first van and flying up over the 2nd building). Just practice and try over and over and you'll get it eventually.

For PS2 you can use Triangle, Up, Right, Down, L2, L1, Square which is the cheat to speed up all vehicles. The plane will move faster while using the same amount of fuel. Control can be difficult but you will be able to finish the mission with plenty of fuel to spare once you get the hang. I don't use it until I'm going to the motorcycle and the last van(slow one)cuz you waste the most fuel going to the last two vehicles and getting back to the base. The cheat is not permanent. Hope this helps.

Just in case you haven't noticed, there should be other mission markers on the map so you can skip this puppy and go on to finish the game. One thing I didn't mention to other players is that I'm pretty sure I went out and earned all the flying skills before I was actually able to complete it.

Practice, practice, practice. I think the reason this is so difficult was just an oversight. Also: watch other videos and see how others are doing it. I completed it by doing it 7,413 times and getting LUCKY...

I'm not sure what they mean by 'coast'. I do know that I tried to keep my finger OFF of the accelerator, thereby using less gas. You can coast quite a bit going down into the Hashbury section to get that one truck, but all the others are an uphill climb.

I wish I knew of a cheat, but I don't think there is one. You may want to see if there's a Game Shark code. If I had a cheat, this would not have been worth shooting and posting on youtube. It's a monster, but keep at it. It took me a lot of PRACTICE and LUCK.

Someone here asked about the plane having 'auto-aim'. I don't think the plane has auto-aim of any kind but I've noticed that the bullets don't always move in the same trajectory. Maybe there is an auto-aim and I don't know it. Point the plane as best you can and hope for success... (I'm sorry but I accidentally hit 'Remove' instead of 'Reply' on your message. )

I think Air Raid is the one I couldn't complete unless I went into slo-mo mode. There are plenty of pages that will have the Slo-Mo cheat if you want to use it. I've been warned many times that cheats can cause glitches, but the only glitches I've had on San Andreas were the fun kind so...

The mission after this, New Model Army, is a total cakewalk compared to Supply Lines. Supply Lines is by far the most difficult mission in the game (PS2 version).
