  • Good video. Superstition can be be quite serious and dangerous for some people. I am currenlty battling a form of superstition that has been ruining my life for many years. The experts say it is a form of OCD.

  • Superstition - a belief or notion, not based on reason or knowledge, in or of the ominous significance of a particular thing, circumstance, occurrence, proceeding, or the like.

Isn't that basically what a religion is?

  • @yoyoboy70 the bible is a history book. would you call the history books in school superstition because you werent there?

  • You seem like a genuinely kind and loving person, but to me at least you look like a terribly depressed man, pleas abounded all these stupid fairy tales friend, It saddens me to sit hear watching your videos and seeing you constantly castrate yourself, both intellectually and psychologically. You will go mad if you don’t stop <:{ trust me you will be much better off for it.

  • Superstition is just fun and silliness? Basing your life on a book that says that faith healing works, knowing that it does not work on amputees or any other affliction whose cure is visible and scientifically verifiable, shows superstition at work. Oh, the irony! I feel sorry for kids of religious people.

  • The level of superstition, religious or otherwise, is in direct proportion to the level of ignorance and intelligence. The more ignorant you are, the more superstious/religious one tends to be. And yes, religion is a superstition.

There's probably no god, so I don't have to worry about such trivial matters.

  • could you be more specific on the "evidence for Bible"? :)

  • scapegoat? You know who the ultimate scapegoat is, right? I agree with CranesNotSkyHooks, please don't block me.

  • "I would have picked it up anyway" :D I love kids

  • Not really, but I'm sure some superstitions are based on something deeper.

  • Yes superstitions have ittle evidence to support them, some of them may have a root of truth that may have happened but as a whole they are simply nonsense and not what being a Christain is about.

  • Comment removed

  • So the question is do christians have superstitious beliefs? Well, I can think of one...

  • You dismiss superstition as nonsense (which it is) yet religions are simply superstitions that people gain monetary and maninuplative profit from.

You go on to claim that people who focus on God have fewer bad things happen to them in their lives. I guess that didn't apply to Job, huh?

  • Did you know that the origin of Christmas lights actually is a practice originating in superstition...?

  • Nothing more sweet than a christian talking about the silliness of superstition...

    irony much?

your daughter is cool though, seems pretty intelligent. she'll find her way. hopefully without god :)

  • Dude... nice self-pwng video. Haven't seen one in a while. Ah well, can't at least congratulate you on teaching your children about some superstitions but regret you don't realise how ironic it is. Have a nice day. Cheers!

  • How ironic it is for you to choose to address such a topic.....

  • Your the kid on the playground everyone stayed away from because you thought everything was a sin... Your daughter too.. Good goin'.

  • Becoming more Godly usually makes you suffer more in a different way, than the suffering that comes from being wicked. We may not get herpies or go to jail, or get gunned down. Ok fine, we may get gunned down for being a Christian, or go to jail for preaching the gospel, but we won't get herpies at least.

  • Christians have no room for superstition? lmao dude do you have any idea what you're talking about?

  • The irony of this vid is so thick you could cut it with a knife

  • @CranesNotSkyHooks

not as thick as the heads of many atheists

  • hahahahahahahah its funny how delusional people can be. it's times like this i wish i live in Sweden

  • Yeah, such reflective insults are a great way to introduce debate between theists and atheists. Nothing is more convincing than just throwing the ball backward to make a statement about our position in the cosmos...

Come on; you're intelligent enough to make a real argument for your case than these puny, childish and insignificant statements about the supposed "close-mindedness" of people who hold a different view on life than you.

You're a grown-up; if you want people to listen act like one.

  • @CranesNotSkyHooks I was just about to say that! He's practically dismissing his whole religion without even knowing it.

  • Pure entertainment. A man who's called Jezuzfreek777 is speaking about silly superstition.

  • What evidence are you talking about? Do you have any links?

  • knock on wood came from those wicked catholics

  • the bible has no evidence. maybe you should look into were the "evidence" comes from and who collected the "evidence."

  • "Thou shalt put no other gods before me" is the "evidence" your looking for. It is one of the Ten Commandments. Superstition is a false god because it is looked at as a belief. If you believe in a superstition is it is considered a false god. Think about it.

  • @Reticent9Soulja: and were is the evidence proving the ten commandments are the word of Yahweh? there is none.

  • Isn't "God is watching you so you shouldn't have premarital sex/swear/think bad thoughts" pretty superstitious as well?

  • Excellent satire, perfect.

  • Superstition: Wearing a safety belt in a car which isn't moving, nor will be moving anytime soon.

Great video though JesuZfreak. You seem like a great father in my eyes.

  • "There is no room for superstition in a christian's life"

    LOL

    Such irony! :D

  • @Jussimania

It's true, it's the most dangerous thing for a Christian is to have superstitions.

  • Christianity doesn't survive a second without superstition, hence the irony.

    You dispute this?

  • @Jussimania

What is superstitious about serving the King of Kings?

  • Not superstitious, suspicious.

    Because 2 + 2 = 4. Not 5.

  • Who is this king of kings?

What is his name, where does he live, when was he born, what does he do and how do you "serve him"?

  • Monarchy is fail

  • I've been kicked out of the Jezusfreek777's room on stickam for my belief of Jesus. Yet he let atheists in there. Typical of Trinitarians.

  • @ Yuratchka - I was there too. JF didn't kick you out.

  • @Yuratchka

Heretics get kicked out in life and will be kicked into Hell upon death.

You should come to know Christ and become a Christian.

  • Trinitarians are heretic, and not only that, they are idolaters and their fate is the Lake of Fire.

  • @Yuratchka

There is no way you could not come away from the Word saying:

Glory be to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit forever.

Open up the Word and learn about God. We don't have idols.

  • I know the Word better than you, it's obvious. God is not some three headed monster. God is one. God is not three.

  • @Yuratchka

No you do not, that's just foolishness. And God is one, I completely agree, one being, three persons.

Just because you want God to be in a box and to be one person, doesn't mean he will now somehow reveal himself as one person, accept the facts, God is Triune and One.

  • I'm done talking to you. Go watch my videos which refute all your "proof texts."

Don't bother talking to me. Have a nice day.

  • @Yuratchka

Already watched a few of your Anti-Christian videos.

  • PRAISE SATAN THE RITEOUS ONE PRAISE THE BEAST 666 :D jk ahha

  • Most myths site real places and many revolve around real events or real figures. Cher is a real person, still it is only a myth that she had a rib removed. The amount of historical or archaeological evidence that backs up the bible is very scares.

  • hahahahahahahahahaha enough with the bullshit story already man, how about growing up and actually LEARNING things instead of simply believing.... study, investigate, use your fucking human capabilities for once, u know u can think by yourself, yet u refuse to do it cause u prefer believing that santa exists and shit like that, Religion(in general) is the greastest antihuman aspect in life u could ever find.

  • HA HA HA is this satire, this has got to be satire, no one could realy NOT get the irony.

  • Unbelievable really isn't it.But an enjoyable way of spending a few minutes with your mouth agape!!

  • props to you. I really believe in what you say! keep up the great videos.

  • jesuzfreak777, you are a really good christian. You make great points and God is really important for all of us. Thank you for making these videos.

  • I agree with your comment :)

  • Pretty friggin' awsome, dude.

  • Right on!Happy Thanksgiving!

  • Ok, Jezusfreek, explain to me by what method you have determined that these superstitions are false and how God must be true.

Both lack any real physical evidence, both seem to contradict each other and both have been claimed as true by primitive people (by way of education I mean).

What makes religion and superstition so different? Because one is written in a book? Because one makes claims to God and one makes claims to luck or fate?

Explain to me where the difference lies.

  • AMEN!!!

  • I'll echo pretty much every other person here... the Christian talking about superstition being childish/silly... hmm.....

  • Sorry JF, but religion *is* a superstition. A supersition is an attempt by primitive and ignorant people to explain or pay homage to events and phenomena that they don't understand. That is exactly the same as religion! This vid is a fine example of the pot calling the kettle black.

No animosity here. It's just amazing to me the contortions that so-called "believers" or "the faithful" will put their brains through in order to escape the spectre of death.

  • Have wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving JF777.

  • That´s pretty self-ironic.

  • this video is just pure irony, that hes calling superstition fun, silly, and ludicrous and he lives his life by superstition

i also feel really bad for his kid...it sucks that hes going to probably shape her beliefs as she grows up into what he wants them to be instead of keeping her mind open. hopefully she's genetically an analytical skeptic of a scientific mind unlike her father who will see through his bullshit

  • fun and silliness...

    didn't amount to much...

    ludicrous belief...

Something....is going to hear me...and [punish] me [for something I've said]

Blaming the bad things for something outside of ourselves...

    SATAN!

Giving credit to something for our good luck...

    JESUS!

No room in a Christian's life for superstition???

Oh the irony overload! The rest is just too much!

  • to be honest, sometimes it seems like MORE bad happens when I follow God more. Seems ilke the less "sold out" I am, the easier my life is.

  • Can somebody please tell me the difference between Christianity and superstition?

  • Superstition is a credulous belief or notion, not based on reason, knowledge, or experience.

Whereas Christianity is based on reason, knowledge and experience.

Kinda sounds like the opposite to me.

  • LOL you fail at fact.

Christanity is not based on reason. It's based on fear,

  • Christianity has never stood up to reason or knowledge, and the only "experience" are the ones felt by their believers. There's a reason why very few educated in Science, the essense of reason and knowledge, are Christians. Christians, especially creationists ARE superstitious dumb people. Dont believce me? Go watch "why people laugh at creationists".

  • Experiences of God aren't only exclusive to Christians. People of other faiths and no faith come to Jesus through experiencing Him.

Creationists aren't dumb. Had you took the time to look into what we believe and why, you'd never say we were dumb. Perhaps you should look at the long list of scientists who are (or were, when thy were alive) creationists. This can be found on the AnswersinGenesis website.

  • I'm a computer engineering student almost graduated. I know a lot about science, maths and physics and, according to me, science has already proved the existence of a Superior Being. There's too much order in the laws of the Universe. I discard chance being the main reason everything exists. Every cell in our body has a specific function. So why do they have a certain order to do specific things in our body if they came from nothing and therefore don't need a reason to defend our bodies? Why?

  • As for cells, I'm no expert in biology but to my understanding that's how life has evolved. I don't think biology has figured out how the first cells split yet but the cells in our body do the specific things they do because their structures got more and more complicated over time. People often compare organisms to robots and saying how much more complex they are. No shit, but they had 1000000 more years to work at it compared to the robot makers.

  • Now, talking about robots (which is part of my area of studies) we, engineers, do realize that something intelligent had to be behind this new development. Robots don't come out of nowhere without a creator(s) (engineer(s)). Something had to already exist in order for the robot came to existence. The same applies to us. The difference is that our souls are conscious energy and our bodies our simply energy.

  • The often used argument is that since when we look at a painting we know that there must be a creator, so when we look at a mountain, there must be a creator also. These flawed arguments failed to consider that the latter is created naturally under the laws of nature, unlike a painting with doesnt. The very idea of a "soul" has never been proven. It is at best an abstract idea much like angles and demons so we can be at peace knowing that our loved ones are still there after they are dead.

  • Scheme:

    7 days (seven lines)

    -------

5 billions of years (represented as 5 lines)

So, the actual total age of the Planet that we are talking about is:

(seven lines)------- +(plus) -----(5 billion years - 5 lines). Now, what we do not know is if, in fact, the 7 days that the Bible tells us are 7 Human days or Divine days.

  • It's entirely possible. But saying they are divine days or that Job living inside a whale were metaphorical seem entirely too convenient and... unfalsifiable. Tell me, what conceivable event occurring would convince you that God does not exist? Coz if God appeared one day and said Evolution is BS I know I (along with just about everyone) will be convinced. Now, is the "theory" of God, falsifiable? You're familiar with the concept of falsifiability yes?

  • Although it does look like a fairy tale the fact that he lived inside of a whale doesn't mean it actually didn't happen. We weren't there, therefore we can't say what is and what is not. We can only assume. Yes, I do know Karl popper's theory of falsifiability. Of course, he says that falsification is an effective method used to criticize theories, but that also includes scientific theories themselves. That's the point: God cannot be proved as non-existent.

  • Exactly, but that means the "theory" of Gods existence is pointless. I can pose a theory that the Universe was enlarged 100x yesterday, and everything in it was also enlarged 100x. You can't disprove it. Now it has the same status as Christianity does it not? The point is a theory that can't be falsified is pointless and doesn't help anyone. Evolution would be disproved if the bones of a modern human was found in the jaws of a T-Rex. How would Creationism be disproved? we don't live long enough.

  • Just because our eyes don't see, doesn't mean we can't feel Him. We know that air exists but we can't see it. We know gravity exists but we can't see it or know how it really works. I think that there is much more beyond that what our eyes can actually perceive.

  • we can't see air, but we feel it. Air can also be measured scientifically, hence creating vacuums. Same with gravity. God can not be felt or measured or tested. Any attempt to "test" God physically or philosophically is called blasphemy. Christians claim they have experienced God and he talks to them, but seriously, that doesn't account for the number of none Christians who aren't feeling God at all mate.

  • Everyone has their own idea of what a soul is, but I do believe in a divine soul and a place where humans can all be together with after they pass away, including their precious loved ones. I think God doesn't show Himself to Mankind mainly because we would then all lose our faith in Him and take everything for granted since we know we will be saved. And what He wants is faith. So that might be one of the reasons he doesn't.

  • Why would we know we will be saved? A common argument used by Christians (including my mother ugh) is that if you go to hell it's your own fault since God already made it perfectly clear if you don't believe in him and follow his teachings you will go to hell. This argument only works if there is no doubt of Gods existence. You can't blame someone for not listening when you made your own existence so shady. Why faith? Why not flat out "yea man I'm here, listen or die bitches"

  • And don't worry about how the cells do what they can do, because even any other brilliant biologist doesn't understand that and probably never will.

  • And why do you cite things such as "why people laugh at creationists"? In my University there was a video created called "why atheist scientists are blind...". You know too that Albert Einstein didn't discard a creator. He just thought that a personal God was improbable, but not impossible mainly because of all the order and events that occur in our Universe. He still believed that some sort of God existed outside the physical dimension.

  • I dont think Christians are dumb, I think CREATIONISTS are dumb, or just pure ignorant. It's not totally irrational to believe a God outside of our physical Universe, but just listening to the arguments of Creationists alone proves how fallacious their arguments are.

  • I agree to you to a certain point. I am Christian who believes in evolution, but I see it as being part of God's own creation. You see, using the word Creation does actually make sense, whether we're talking about evolution or creation itself with Adam and Eve. Somehow, the first self-multiplicative cell had to be created. By who or what? I believe God was the agent. Other's believe it were rocks banging into each other. And that's okay to have different points of view.

  • Hmm normally by Creationists we mean those who believe the Earth is around 6000 years old, Evolution is a scam by athiests/Satan and the grand canyon was created by the great flood etc. Oh and they also believe bananas were designed by God to fit perfectly into your hand. :) I dont believe in God because studies on human psychology and the various number of religions seem to have explained why as intelligent beings we have a need for a supernatural belief to explain things.

  • Well, those arguments used by some Creationists don't make sense because it has already been proved that world was Created around 5 billion years ago. Still, what the Bible mentions as being created in 7 days, it does make sense, because it's only telling us how long the World took to be developed. Now, on the other hand, the 5 billion years of age of the Planet tell us the time it's been here since it came to be complete (after the total 7 days).

  • That's... not what the bible tells us. :S The Bible states that all creatures were created by God. All birds and land animals in one day etc. Evolution tells us that your so called "development" was what slowly developed cells into these complex creatures over time. Christians also toy with the idea of good and evil and original sin. Now if you don't believe the story of Eden literally, what original Sin did Jesus die for anyway? And what took him so long to send Jesus I thought he was timeless.

  • In a way, He did. If he created the first self-multiplicative cell then anything resulting from it belongs to Him. One thing that really biologist scientists can't explain is why did creatures who fly actually developed wings knowing that everything came from water. No one can answer this, including Dr. Richard Dawkins.

  • actually a video on youtube shows Dawkins' explanation on flying creatures. They would slowly develop flaps of skin because those who have them can leap from higher and higher ground, those who don't die out. Over time, they leap further and further, eventually developing into all out wings like bats have etc. I used to think evolution was BS too coz I can't see how a heart could've appeared from a single generation. It didn't. It got more complex over time.

  • Agreed. We know things take time to become complex. But the main question is "why". We may know all the "how's", but we sure don't know the "why's".

  • You see, although I do believe in Evolution, I also see two critical errors that have been appointed to that theory, which are:

    1. If we all came from the same cell, then why was there the need of millions of different species?

    2. If we did evolve from apes, then why do apes still exist?

    3. As Humans, why is there the need of two different sex's? Why couldn't we have all been "sexless" creatures like cells are?

  • Sorry, I meant three errors.

  • I'm sorry WHAT!!!?? You could've at least come up with intelligent errors. 1. because different environments are suited to different species and resources are limited so for an organism to survive they need to find a way to get a piece of that resource. 2. we did not evolve from apes, we share a common ancestor with them. 3. Because mitosis was no longer an option after we got complex, also we need DNA mixing for variety etc. 0_o Holy shit sorry but question 2 was stupid beyond all imagination.

  • Sorry, my friend, but according to the theory we did evolve from apes. Charles Darwin even stated that so I don't see where the stupidity of the mentioned question is. Yes, answer to question number one can be considered correct but then why can't wings be explained that easily? And what resources are you talking about? The main resources for life to any kind of creature are oxygen and hydrogen. So where are you coming from limited?

  • I stand speechless. Charles Darwin proposed a theory which was studied and developed far beyond what he thought of. Us sharing a common ancestor with apes is FACT in Evolution. We did NOT evolve from apes, that's what dumb Creationists believe. 0_o ANY biologist would tell you that. And resources? Um.. food? grass, prey, territory etc. Developing wings provide a new territory and a new way to obtain food unavailable to others. wtf dude. You went from intelligent to dumb in the span of 2 posts.

  • I truly cannot believe what my eyes are seeing. What are you saying, man? Everything I have stated are TRUE comments stated by those scientists! And you're here answering what is still considered as "yet unanswerable"? My friend, I passed all my science disciplines, I do know what I am saying. I wouldn't be here posting dumb-ass questions if they were not true, because answers are easily seen on the world wide web!

  • Any biologist would tell me that? Funny you mention that to me, because my biologist friend (also in the same University) is stating the same as I am! And we did evolve from apes. I seen another comment on YouTube from another atheist who said the exact opposite as you. He also stated we evolved from apes! So, now I am thinking: If atheists really know what they are saying then why don't they agree with each other? It's making me think a lot... Ha-ha!

  • Check your PMs. I just wanted to post a link to wiki. Go search for "common ancestor" on wikipedia. Not sure why youtube isn't letting me post comments. Maybe reached limit today.

  • Okay, now we are almost getting to the point where we get to call names towards each other and that is not what I am here for. I'm here for intelligent discussions. Let's not get off the tracks!

  • As intelligent and rational people, we have to admit that there will always be flaws to any kind of theory, because no theory is 100% accurate. Everything has a second or third point of view. Everyone is different and that is what makes Mankind a Unique specie.

  • Ahhhh

  • shit can't post freely what is going on. :(

  • Like if you listen to this guy, his arguments are full of holes. Superstition is putting the responsibility away from ourselves and blaming someone else? Um.. Satan? tempted by Satan anyone?

  • nobody can tell you the difference.

  • Christianity has it in storybook form.

  • LOL! All christians have at least ONE superstitious belief.

  • I have looked into Christianity, it is just as absurd as superstitious. Sorry no evidence for God. In fact there is lot more against the existence of a Christian god. I would have an easier time believing in a teapot floating in space. That is even more logical than God.

  • Superstition is part of the Just-world hypothesis. We often think of bad things of situational instead of disposition. We find patterns in unrelated things. However, 70 percent of America focuses on drawing close to god and that hasn't accomplished much. Christianity is the same thing. We want to blame the bad things on Satan and Adam and eve and all the good things on God. Just as superstitious.

  • good point...

  • Archeological evidence?

Is he talking about dinosaur bones, cavemen, and transitional forms from apes to humans which all support evolution and a very old earth? Or is he talking about the complete absence of things like giants commonly found in the Bible for which there are ZERO fossils for? That's Archeological evidence for ya. I think I'm gonna stick with Atheism ;)

  • 4:06-4:09

I literally spit my drink all over my laptop laughing at that sentence.

Does this guy know that God is a superstition?

  • Where do you draw the line then?

When a chain letter says "someone threw it away and had bad luck, someone didn't and had good luck"... well that is statistically true... so should we believe it?

If no, why is the bible different? It contains some truths in it but in general it sounds like a chain letter... yet, you believe one and not the other?

You believe that God is watching over everything we do but you don't believe that "something" hears you saying "slow day"... why? :)

  • During the first 1/3 of your video you sounded very rational and I agreed with everything you said. But after that, you lost me. One example: "...superstition is a way to justify the bad things, happening in our lives, as though it's beyond our control. As Cristians, we'll have our trials and tribulations, but god's glory will be found in the way we persevere through them." What does that even mean? You yourself persevere, why even mention god here?

  • A Stephen King Novel has all those things, too. I wonder if his books are a work of fiction...After all maine exists, stephen king exists, etc.

  • You WON'T get rid of superstition, unless you realize it's NOT fun!

We, even Christians, think so many things are FUN, but ever wonder what a GOOD and PERFECTLY RIGHTEOUS GOD would think of them? -Yes, they are EVIL and you know by watching to the CROSS of Jesus Christ just HOW MUCH God HATES EVIL. (EVIL = SIN)

It's better to mourn than seek fun. I don't need fun, and most importantly I DON'T WANT FUN! I want to know GOD, how He sees things! We fool ourselves when we trust our HEARTS.

  • So you can see the problems with superstitions that you don't choose to believe in...

This video was like watching a heroin addict explain the problems involved with coffee use.

(Yes I heard what you said at the end it didn't help your case.)

    Some questions for you:

Would you consider other religions to be forms of superstition? At what point is it ok to believe in something that is supernatural?

  • Oh stop it. your killing me.

  • It's odd that so many atheists listen to Christian videos like this one, and then feel compelled to comment and/or criticize them.

  • It's odd that so many theists feel compelled to stand on street corners, knock on doors, make videos proclaiming that they know the one and only REAL TRUTH, and then act surprised or annoyed when others respond with comments or critique, derision or scorn.

  • Odd? You've never heard of ministers, preachers, and missionaries?

  • why?

  • You never heard your daughter talk about superstition before? She's never mentioned Jesus even once?

  • lol. OOOOOH! SNAP!

  • Good message brother - freak on!

  • Er, atheism is a superstition - an irrational belief that if you make comments mocking other people you're a superior adult; And that karma won't come back and slap you a good one in return.

  • Example that karma doesn't exist. A polish man who never did an honest day's work in his life gets named the king of a small country. It turns out his ambasadors in other nations are raping children. He tells one of his servants to hide the rapists he continues living in the palace happily to a ripe age. When he dies over a billion people mourn his death and say what a good man he is. The servant who hid the rapists becomes the new king. Karma is a superstition based in nothing.

  • @ratholin - Interesting tale. Karma would dictate that with every opposing example it proves its self self evident - and reveals much about the thinking of the presenter. I suppose you don't believe we all have our own vices and trade offs in this life; That some have the perfect life which others would envy; That there's not always a reaction to every action?

Bone up on your philosophy & psychology, perhaps one day we can find a common reference to discuss it in more depth.

  • That's a stupid statement. The reaction to an action is not karma that's kinetics. An object in motion stays in motion until met with an opposing force. Karma would insist that the force would always be opposing. Whereas reality shows that bloated bastards can live lives of decadence and vileness at the expense of others and suffer not a whit for it. Karma would say there'd be a negative effect but that's just wishful thinking.

  • it''s only seems stupid to you because your comprehend skill is lacking. I didn't state that a "reaction to an action" is karma - your mind focused on what little it understood, then formed a conclusion on its own, leading a repetitive obscure tangent. As I said, you need to bone up on your philosophy - but first work on your comprehension skills.

  • You have got to be kidding. Surely such a nonsensical statement can only be meant as satirical jest.

  • If it suits you as such - please, enjoy!

  • I love how everyone really nailed the hypocrisy in this video. If written down, his comments would be a beautifully constructed irony. A man with a superstition not practicing what he preaches...

  • How is there a difference between the belief in bad luck from breaking mirrors and the belief that you get to go to Heaven if you eat crackers and drink grape juice?

  • I thought of making a video response to you, jezuzfreek777, but it seems you have only countered yourself in a single video. And with such conviction too. I must say, impressive.

Its amazing how you sacrifice your credibility to make such a great example of all those superstitious people out there, their out-dated and unprovable beliefs. Especially the Christian ones. Very good indeed.

  • this is hilarious, you know what i find amazing about superstition jezuzfreak? the fact that you can disregard your bibles scripture when it becomes convenient for you IE: sexism, racism, hatred to homosexuals in the bible when anyone brings that up you can say "oh that's not the true teaching of the bible". I have a suggestion jezuzfreak how about YOU analyze YOUR superstitions then make a video on all the PROOF for your beliefs.

  • You are an absolutely hilarious hypocrite.

  • You've got to be kidding me Anthony...

  • How many Christians have superstitious beliefs? Ummmm.... is that a trick question?

  • Religion is superstition!

  • 100 on the irony scale. Possibly more, it's hard to tell. My irony meter is now broken.

  • Thank you sir for being the 100 person to repeat this dried up mantra. You're a credit to your cause.

  • Bite me.

    Or not

  • Grrrr, saucy!!!

  • you have not heard you daughter talk about superstitions every time she speaks of god she is speaking of superstition

  • Superstitions dont count when they are your own LOL

  • right my magic fairy tales are real and yours are not?

  • Just wondering .. is there anyone out there who actually gives a shit what this pompous fuck says? Just wondering

  • @givingmantoo A little. Why?

  • His opinions are so bigoted and ignorant, that is why I was wondering. Man, if every thought the way he did, this would be a fucked up world to be sure.

  • @givingmantoo - Obviously a lot of people - 11,476 subscribers care, and counting. And each video registers an average 2,500 views with an average of around 300 comments. Even atheists that got to personally know him end up not hating him.

  • Hate? Actually I have chatted with this guy on several occasions on stickam. He is just an ass hole, christian or not he would still be an ass hole. BTW many of his subs are just his sub for the LOLs

  • @givingmantoo - No really, he's nice. You on the other hand from how you comment to me and others just shows you aren't and not much fun to get to know. Just lighten up. I'm sure you can be nice too.

  • You have heard your daughter speak of superstition every time she talks about your religion. It is really stupid to listen to you mock people for having silly superstitons when you do nothing but talk about superstitions all the time. You just call it christianity. You fucking moron, snakes dont talk and jesus never lived.

  • True and wise words.

    God bless.

  • peace and love be with you in Jesus name brother in faith

    great message

    i thank God for you

may he keep you safe and in his love

  • Yeh, superstitions are of no use

  • all that "evdidence" < (i know its wrong it's on purpose you dumb ass) why isn't your channel dedicated to presenting it like many atheist channels present EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE for i don't know

    evolution

    big bang

    abiogenesis

and many other scientifically supported arguments

in fact your channel nor any other christian channel (at least that ive seen) provides ABSOLUTELY ZERO evidence for any of your claims NONE

  • Angry aren't we?

Ok, I'm glad you consider BB cosmology as being viable. That is what I support as well.

Do you know what evidence means?

  • are you serious?? i can't tell

yeah you believe the big bang was a fart from your sky daddy

if there is evidence for any if the claims that christians have made the studies would have been published

  • Well, they have. The fact that you are uninformed as to what they are or where toget them from is not indicative of their ignorance.

the "fart" bit was a little unecessary, but putting it simply yes. The BB was created by God.

  • NO NO, silly christian no scientific or extra-biblical evidence for any god has ever been published in a REPUTABLE journal of science

and what makes you think that you aren't the one thats uninformed or misinformed

a lot of the fallacious arguments have been DEBUNKED

go ahead point me in the direction im always willing to learn

  • Such bold claims require back-up.

Would you consider Astrophysics and Space Time one of those peer reviewed journals? What about International Studies in the Philosophy of Science, or The British Journal for Philosophy of Science?

    Silly me, eh?

  • oh now you expect me to do the leg work and go look them up myself

    CITE THEM please

  • What leg work?I gave you at leats three peer reviewed sources where publications of this source are available. You claimed there are no peer reviewed journals that publish it, I pointged you out a few that do.

Now you want exact citations so you can skim a few articles in a rush and then come back and trash it to me. This happens all the time.

  • Since I really don't have the time to go and look them up for some belligerent YTer, I found one that was at a reach but YT apparently won't let me post the link.

  • Take everything you just said (about superstition) and inspect Christianity the same way.
