If you hadn't seen the movie before, which it sounds like you hadn't, then you did an excellent job with your rendition of one of the greatest movies ever. Well done.
Both actors are visually attractive and their motions are convincing. But what I notice is the sound of their vocals. Their voices both need to drop a bit in pitch. Maybe its just that Stewart and Novak were older than these actors. Have these actors work on speaking more from the chest and speak in a deeper voice. Deeper voices for both male and female would be more convincing and effective. Very nice job overall.
i agree~ jimmy stewart's age/aging gave Vertigo a subtext, the force it has about inevitable death & loss - the finality/futility of it all. more youthful actors here - good job on them btw - reminds me of a more innocent-eyed noir w/ joan fontaine or gene tierney. or maybe the wholesome couple in Written on the Wind.
