Then this is for individual performance within the show is it? I was confused at first how only one of the two man team could win. Originally I thought they had created it together but it does seem to be David that is the key character in the cast i.e its his apartment and Jeremy is his lodger and friend etc. Robert Webb is just more likeable though even though Jeremy is hideous.

Robert will've felt terrible, and I'm pretty sure I see a look of disappointment on his face on one of the shots.

Rob Webb is so naturally talented , charismatic and ..yes sexy... and although David Mitchell is also talented, intelligent - and no doubt intensely ambitious - he shouldn't really win an award Peep Show on his own should he? They did not write the scripts and its a 'balance' thing - no Mark without Jeremy and vice versa. I know he does do work alone etc and he did make a good dedication to Rob Webb of course. But if Rob Webb cares about awards at all it must be a disappointing moment.

I do think its harsh how Robert Webb never gets the recognition he deserves for anything they do together.

I think it boils down to the fact that characterwise David plays the more likable guy where as Robert's character is a complete bastard at times. Whilst that just means Webb is doing his job with perfect execution I guess it can be hard to move past that when you see the character at his worse. It's harsh to Webb but I think thats what happens and to a certain extent it's understandable
