  • Was he touched or what those old cunts look shady

  • 1:10

  • lara is great

  • Probably should have Sir Garfield finish that thought :O

  • Subcontinental batsmen are wristy, Caribbean batsmen are elbowy.

  • The great batsman...

  • Sir Garfield Sobers back then never knew that this "Very Nice Boy" would be the phenom to break his record.

  • Simply The Greatest to take the Pitch and All stood in His Light !

  • watch from 1;10 to 1:13, LoL

  • at the end?? i thought he was a very nice boy wtf?

  • i think he was a very nice boy !

  • The sad thing about the career of Brian lara is his time in the team co incided with a major slump in the West Indian team, he played in some really bad teams and didnt get the support around him that he should have

  • tendulkar is a smelly indian

  • @2SXC2H8 lol he's achieved more than u will ever achieve in ur pathetic racist fucked up life.

  • @2SXC2H8 fcuk you

  • @2SXC2H8 WTF is wrong with you

  • Tendulkar had scored centuries in first class cricket (Ranji trophy, Duleep trophy & Irani trophy) on debut when he was 15 years old.

  • @sackhatri Lara played against Marshall and Garner and cored 92.Much better than Sachin century

  • He is one of the Best 'right' handed batsman the world had ever seen !!!

Yes,he was always right in judging the bowling and playing..

  • is lara gay?

  • @IMATTZiiI no asswipe

  • people can always bat when they're 15, but no one can ever bat like this when they're 15

  • Most naturally gifted player I have ever seen..

  • Very nice + good elbows/shoulders/arms = happy time for some of these pervs...

  • was this from a doco or something?

  • i think that hes a verry nice boy hahahahahlol

  • great player

  • lol what the fuck?? 0:46 "He had good shoulders and... elbows"?

  • yeah, high elbow while playing down the ground, etc.

  • @JoeyJFace100 lol yea i thought he was gonna go on...

  • @JoeyJFace100 it means that he was good at controlling & swinging the CRICKET BAT since he had strong(good) shoulders & elbows :D

  • @JoeyJFace100 what is so surprising? good shoulders and elbows help batsman to have a better natural swing at the moving ball.

  • @JoeyJFace100 I thought exactly the same thing. Great elbows, not good.

  • @JoeyJFace100 he's referring to the 'direction guard' of the elbows used to pick up the line of the ball and pepare the stroke. Lara would further alter it in the final phase of his career.

  • @JoeyJFace100 well good shoulders makes sense..dunno abt the elbows though

  • Richard Hadlee!

  • was he playing for his school's cricket team??

  • finnysean for the record Sir garfield sobers from the w.I was knighted!

  • get ur facts right. the legendary SIR garfield sobers (greatest cricket ever) was Knighted!

  • Allen, Sir George "Gubby" (19021989) Bedser, Sir Alec (born 1918) Botham, Sir Ian, (born 1955) Cowdrey, Sir Colin (Baron Cowdrey of Tonbridge) (19322000; knighthood 1992, life peerage 1997) Hobbs, Sir Jack (18821963) Hutton, Sir Len (19161990) Lacey, Sir Francis (18591946) Leveson-Gower, Sir Henry (18731954) Toone, Sir Frederick Warner, Sir PelhamHunte, Sir Conrad Richards, Sir Vivian Sobers, Sir Garfield Walcott, Sir Clyde Weekes, Sir Everton KCMG Worrell, Sir Frank

  • sir ian botham

  • @stj1003 Why;s Warne racist how would be being racist help u get away with what u calll cheating?

  • I would like to see how far bradman got against bowlers with the quality of mcgrath, warne murali, walsh ambrose. NO shit bradman wos mesminrising but lara has got the edge because of his croud pleasing champagne moments and his unbelieble innings when his team needed them the most!

  • lol get ur facts right m8. Lara came into the team and straight away richards holding and other greats left to leave brian and courtney walsh holding up the team. Bradaman played in the ausie team called the INVINCIBLES

  • I think both you guys are arguing over something that is not well-defined, what do you guys mean when you say better in the context of batting? Do you mean average, most runs, most records, most correct technique, more sixes per innings, most hundreds...There can be many definitions. So unless you guys agree on a definition before hand it I think you guys will argue forever. Ex: If I define better in terms of greater average: Bradman greatest, Ponting better than both lara and tendulkar.

  • On the other hand if I define better to mean most centuries: Tendulkar is the greatest. We can then say better means the person with the most quadruple centuries, and Lara is the greatest.

Personally I prefer watching Brian Lara batting than any other batsman in the world cause that is just what I like; though I do admire Tendulkar's straight drives and Ponting's hook and pull shots.

If I define better to be the person with best pull/hook Ponting is better than both lara and tendulkar.

  • you are a genius !!

  • well i define it in entertainment which makes lara the best

  • Sir Donny B is the greatest batsman ever i agree

  • @ 0:24 daz my uncle joey and in the hole video daz my uncle brian

  • Ahhhh from to the best of my knowledge Jordan didnt play 60 years ago!!!!! lol...Try again

  • aha good someone who actually agrees the man with the average of 99.9 is the greatest batsmen ever

  • Haha you gunna try and tell me that Holding was as quick as Brett Lee?? LOL like i said before name me any sport that has gone backwards in 60 years.....So tell me, what device did they use to acurately measure Holdings bowling speed? lol

  • what the hell does bowling speed have to do with it? you telling me mcgrath is not as good as lee?

  • fellers....dey measured holding at 92 in something hosted by richie benaud, and this was ver y late in his career, if heh had not retired already

so i'd guess he bowled in the 95 mph category at least....i dunno if brett lee is faster than that, but the other thing was that holding seemed to come on much faster that did brett, bcus he was more of a skiddy bowler, than a hit the deck sorta guy

and btw....holding was better than both lee and mcgrath..u don't have a reign of terror and not be good

  • holding was an absoloute menage! mabye not as fast as lee but more hostile, tall and deadly acurate. known as the whispering death. Lee has nowhere near the skill of holding

  • haha i c, so until anyone has an average higher than bradmans 5 ball over / smaller ground average he is the best? please? Look in any sport the best modern day players far outweigh older ones.....Let me guess next you will be telling me that Kenny Rosewell could beat Pete Samprass becuase he won the grandslam? please

  • Lara played when the indies were dominant?? are you seirous? most of the second half of laras career possibly more were spent carrying the team, most games fell on laras shoulder........Haha bradman is the true champion? Lara broke EVERY one of his records except average which was artificialy high due to small ground size and 5 ball overs. Forget great aussie patriotism for a while and look at the facts.

  • yes great patriotism but thats all you have

  • Grounds were also MUCH smaller when bradman played making scoring very easy....Ahhh i love how people are so willing to keep the Breadman legend allive

  • Think about it, if Bradman played today he would get his ass beat!! if lara played in bradmans day he would rule.....You think bradman faced 150k balls?? Was cricket nearly as competitive back then?? No. Were people paid what they are paid today? No...Just look at bradmans physique, how much time do you think he spent in the gym??...Lara excelled when cricket was at its most competitive, bradman excelled when cricket was in infancy....

  • stop fucking spamming videos you pakistani asshole

  • I love that pull shot at 0:36

  • sachin is better than lara in terms of consistency

  • how are you measuring consistency if it's by average then Bradman would be the greatest batsman ever. Tendulkar would be classed as better than Brian Lara, but Ponting would be classed as being better than both. So unless you are willing to accept that Tendulkar is not as good as Ponting, which I suspect you don't you need to come up with another definition of better.

  • ponting lara and tendulkar ARE ALL modern greats cants say which is better but being a west indian i must say lara

  • Dear I am Pakistani.. But LARA is my all time Favourite. I love him.. he is my Hero.. LARA ruined best bowlers in his time. Wasim,Waqar,Mcgrath.. he was match Winner. Amazing player

  • hows his stroke play for a 15 year old. master

  • whatever people might say....the greatest player to have ever played cricket...or I would say the greatest Entertainer,,,,,,....The Greatest Entertainer.....ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ......

  • the greatest batsman ever to have walked this earth

  • bradman..

  • LOL bradman?? U joker.....Lara broke ALL his records except bradmans bullshit average, remember when bradman was batting the grounds were MUCH smaller and there were 5 ball overs, that explains his BS average......Name me ANY sport where the best player today is not better than someoine 40 years ago?? I wonder what was the 100m sprint time 40 years ago?? I wonder if Rod laver would Beat Pete Samprass?? No. Dont kid yourself.

  • Sorry, no

  • Oh he wouldnt huh? hmmm name me a sport where the copetition standard has gone BACKWARDS??? Hmmm running maybe? No Hmmm basketball?: No All fors of athlectivs? No, swimming perhaps? hardly, swimimng and all these forms of sport have envoloved as humans and players get better, the standatrd is always higher.....Look past you blind foolish patriotisim! Lara Brokie ALL bradmans recordsexcept average. Remember when braman played there were 5 ball overs and smaller making his av artificially higher!

  • No All fors of athlectivs?

Look past you blind foolish patriotisim!

    dude..shut up

  • JEE... He'z the same from then!!!

  • I'm 15 and ball leggies but I reckon if I ever balled to this guy even when he was 15 he would 30 off an over.

  • excellent,legendary batsmen!

  • You can feel the class there & then!
