For those of you asking where this came from, it was originally posted on the website Thefriendsociety by beloved member Theo (Numbtheo) after the release of site owner Dave's flash video about some guy with the bananphone song stuck in his head, who then puts the song in someone elses head, causing him to kill.
Although this song was great, it's still got nothing on Theo's cover of Britney Spears' Toxic

Excuse me? Have you not heard of Opeth? They're one of the best modern death metal bands out there and they use clean vocals. So many other bands do as well. And it works. Death metal is a living entity in terms of what can be done with it and how it can change, and clean vocals are often used in it.

Honestly if you are gonna get hung up on details like weather or not you can understand the vocals, you really shouldnt even bother commenting. People enjoy it, and if you dont thats your opinion, but you really dont need to call people assholes for mislabeling a genre.
Is it just me or are they trying to hard? Honestly, I'd rather have the metal music with that voice, not just a bunch of death growling and screaming. Great cover though.
