They are conducting large scale exercises with missile lauchers since 2008. @2009stalker You are such an idiot. Russia have got the most advanced nuclear missiles in the world. Their rocket technology and nuclear devices are the best. The newest Topol missile can bypass any massile defence thanks to its speed and altitude of flight path. AND what is more immportant is, when USA or RUSSIA go to nuclear war, then there will be no winner! btw,, USA is straight land so shockwaves of nukes will be much more spreaded than in Russia (logicaly). Look on map for a proof.

@BlackGoose2 - keep dreaming i dubt that Russia will even be able to fire a nuclear missile becasue their tanks and almost everythig else is rusty and outdated.... i've talked to some people last year who served in the Russian "army" so called army. The only thing they learned to do is to dig trenches and build houses for their comarades. Their tanks sometimes didnt even start up so what the fck r u talking ablout? that is simple truth.

@2009stalker I doubt that they just leave very expensive hardware like that (especially the best SAM systems in the world ie S-300/400). They are conducting large scale exercises with missile lauchers since 2008. Russia is rusting off too much tanks that was left from the arms build up during the Cold War, mainly T-55-T-64 (but not all). I have a friend from Russian marine corps, probably the guy you talked to had different experiences?haha

@blackhawk438 Wind just spreading radioactive falloutr. Every organism have got different defence against radiation, but It always creating mutations and natural mistakes.
Then its just up to organism and its adaptation ability. Human body is good in adaptations, but the results of this adapttation on radiation is like from horror movie. The shockwave of nuke destroying and vaporizing all around due the massive energy of collapsing atom core. Wind doesnt affect shockwave or atom core.

@BlackGoose2 Yeah but what makes those nukes so deadly is the radiation that is carried around by the wind and other froms of erosion. The actual blast radius won't do as much damage as that. Thats what i'm talking about. You set a nuke off in washingon state and hell! they're going to have a mess. But the blast radius certainly wont be the whole state. so then washington wouldhave a buig problem. But if the wind caried the fallout east and south then you would have a real roblem which is bigger

@2009stalker Russia has the Tsar Bomb, if you do not know what that is, search it up. While US nukes are accurate, they are less powerful for that reason, why destroy more than the target area?. Russian nukes are not as accurate, but they are still guaranteed to eliminate the target even if the missile misses by 1-2 kilometers.

Who knows special forces know that these images in the film shows many unprofessional details, such as lack of gloves, outdated equipment and poor working clothing. The armament is quite primitive and not designed for tactical applications. Then again the picture of the car where the approaching soldiers. Approach is taken never a car.

@XavierXanatos Spetsnaz doesnt heed to the standards of special forces(they are different from any other specops in the world). ALFA ,their FSB spetsnaz , are probably the ones you describe. They use foreign weapons and the most current tech being used.

For example as VAL, AN-94 ABAKAN, OC-14 GROZA,
PP-19 BIZON, underwater automatic machine APS, SR-3 VIHR SR-2 VERESK, sniper SV-98.
Look at a photo 0:41 it is not Kalashnikov, it is Nikonov automatic machine of new generation, .

@XavierXanatos Russian SF are not like the Americans - they don't just rely on their equipment like SOFLAMs to sit behind cover and blow shit up from the air. these guys get in close and personal, with weapons that almost never jam and ammo for them can be found easily in the warzones they work in. also, their training routine and selection would be outlawed in most western countries because it essentially violates human rights laws.
