@supereldinho when broly hair changes to white, and he bulks up, thats his SSJ1. Then he bulks up even further and transforms to SSJ2. He did it quite a number of times in the series.

His second transformation(the really bulky one) is not a SSJ2 transformation, but a Legendary Super Saiyan transformation, which is something genetically related to Broly. The SSJ2 transformation has a lightning aura, and as you can see, he doesn't have that detail, but his SSJ3 does.
