@xxnissansilviaxx it is the videocall cam. On the left there is the light sensor: it turns off keypad light to save energy, for example when the phone is under the sunlight.

Thats very very cool. I've had this phone with straight talk for bit less than a month and I haven't come across this function. Tis a brilliant phone, with a great service, but how exactly do I activate this little flashing light?

@Fordycyo Menu>Tools>Settings>General>Pe­rsonalization>Notification Light. Under that section it will give you the option of how long you want the light to blink for when you have a missed call/ text message/ email/ ETC.

it doesnt have the function inbuilt but there is a free application that lets you use the camera flash as flashlight...

Actually, that is one thing I like about the "new" Nokia phones. Let's say your phone is in silent-mode, this way you can see, if you've had a msg or a call, I have it in my crappy 6100 and I like it. You don't have to check your phone everyone one hour, you just look up for the light and that is it.

nope no fault... that was the "breather", you can disable it if you like..

That may be a light sensor, cover it with your finger and see if the keypad light comes on.

No idea if that's right, just an idea.

If you are talking about WI-Fi, yeah - you can do that on this phone. You can steal your neighbors Wi-fi, then connect your phone to your computer, connect you phones internet to the computer and download till he ends up selling his kidney to pay for the internet bill... it also got 3G, GPRS etc which cannot be stolen from YOUR neighbors :( you will hafta pay for it.. so i use WiFi and watch my neighbor go bankrupt

@919Smil13y : Internet connectivity sucks on this phone if you are on anything other than Wi-Fi connection. GPRS speed is standard so that option is void here. Edge and 3G sucks on this phone. In my opinion, you will doing way better if you opted for an E72 or a BB curve. :) E72 is my fav though.

if you have a missed call..or when you get an e-mail or sms - that light starts flashing (you can set for how long: default 15 minutes i think) so when you come back to the desk or wherever you left your phone..you can see it without having to look on the display. I have e51, and the notification light is in the top left corner, together with the light sensor. It flashes blue light and i think it is more visible than this one. But E71 is awesome, i would like to have one :) cheers!
