Hey Bro .. My BlackBerry Bold 9900 Is Locked .. I Have A Unlock Code .. But The Problem Is I Can't Get The Messgae @ 2:10 .. It Opens Directly And At The Signal Status it Says ( SOS ) .. I Restarted It Alot .. Same Thing .. and I Changed The Sim Card .. Still Same
If I've unlocked it and used another carriers SIM card can I go back to my old SIM and use my default carrier again without locking it or loosing any features? Also, can I go back forth whenever I want using the same code?
@polkboss yes you can always go back to your old carrier, this will not effect anything you currently have on your phone except that the network is unlocked and you can use other simcard from different service providers. Once unlock you will not need the code again as it is permanently unlocked
So i believe my phone unlocked properly.. everything says diasbled except network says inactive.. i also get a "SIM not provisioned:2" at the top of my screen is there something im doing wrong? Also in the video you only have the one code.. i recieved a list of codes which one is the correct to use?
@cfreeze56 yes if everything disabled its unlocked, that message you are receiving occurs when the simcard is one that is not compatible with the phone, not an unlocking issue
when the phone is unlocked can it b used in gsm carriers..cause i live in the carribbean and i would like to use the phone with my local carrier..can it b used?
Hello- Question : If I unlcok the phone will my BBm and internet work? Because I was told that when you unlock this phone the phone itself works where you can make calls, but Blackberry themselves need to override the system so that BBm and internet will work. Please let me know. Thanks
just need to be extra sure about something ,i have the same exact phone on contract with rogers ,if i unlock it will it fuck up anything else on the phone..like the bbm and what not. Just want to be extra sure
@sneakertri No it will not effect anything with your phone or on your contract, its actually the exact same method rogers will use and charge you 50 dollars to unlock your device. Everything will remain the same on the phone except you will be able to use non rogers simcards on the phone now
I have a iPhone 4 with Telus (3years forfait). Ok so if i take off the SIM card and buy a adapter to finaly install it in a BlackBerry@ Bold 9900 from Bell, is it okay? Or i still have to change the forfait of my iPhone4 SIM card to be compatible with a forfait made for BlackBerry@ Bold 9900.
Will unlocking the Blackberry Bold 9900 work with Fido? I just have a regular voice plan with 100 minutes and unlimited texting and weekend calling but I dont have any data plan, so will I be able to use the Wi-Fi on the Bold if I dont have a 3G data plan and not get charged as well? Hope someone can help me know if it works, thanks!
@PatrickSerrano9 yes if you buy a rogers or bell blackberry 9900 it will work with a fido simcard. The wifi will also work fine. But for full Blackberry functions, BBM etc, you will need a dataplan from fido
Does the unlock code of 9900 work the same for 9930? In the list it doesnt have 9930. Also do i have to put the seller's network details or the network i will be using? Im from Australia and on the Optus networkand bought if off an American seller on the Sprint network.
can someone help me please i think im putting the info wrong on the websit can someone give me a quick example
