  • i wonder how many glass cups this guy goes through

  • pim pam

  • Wow! Absolutely amazing!

  • Amazing!! Very Nice :-)

  • this reminds me of the intro to time my pink floyd except this is WAAAAAAAAAAYYYY cooler sounding

  • Also, as I listen to it, not very dynamic. Even a single complete cut would be sorbet for the ears. The dropouts I hear are an artifact of the overly verby space, not any active cutting. I understand the tribal wall-of-sound is a very different motif than hip-hop or rock, but in the looping context, it comes off as lazy. Yes, phrase sampling is awesome. But it's not a one-trick-pony. One too many recordists in the South Park orchestra, as it were. Verily. God I sound like a douche. <8

  • Absolutely love that you're thinking outside the box w/ instrumentation. But that's why if this is going to resonate with anyone, I'm sure it's you - phrase sampling is ALWAYS done with half-time beats. I'm gonna try for some high bpm or punkish rhythms. Maybe you'll join me? I literally haven't seen a single video try it. Or math, like a 5/4? Could even change signatures to a 3/4 momentarily by refreshing the loop mid-phrase. You actually see possibilities here; I hope I'll be your peer.

  • Wow. This is utterly brilliant. If you would like to play a show in St Louis, please hit me up at loopscientist@gmail.com

  • i just wonder how much stuff he was hitting at home till he found stuff he liked. awesome though, serious awesome

  • How do you not get a feedback nightmare in all of this? Beautiful gamelan.

  • How in the world did this not get chosen as a finalist.

  • Nicely done, you should have won. Your ceativity eclipsed the winner by a large margin. Nice exit!

  • Go for it!!!

  • Thats the most original looping idea i think i have ever seen!

  • Amazing Dude! Especially that melodic stuff you start doing around the 1:50 mark. Keep up the good work!!
