i really like to work out, im not an every day training man, but i`ll tri to do as many as possible i can on the week.
but now that i see you training like that, i´m going to train every day, at least 1 hour per day, thank for post the video, sincerely you are one of mi inspirations
hey cool that thing he does with the monkey bars from 1:08 to 1:10, i do it in school everyday to train! its actually alot easier to do than it looks, considering i'm just a 13 year old guy of average build without prior training. just start by swinging yourself on pull-up bars and then hanging from them, and finally work on monkey bars...never try anything you're not comfortable with. you will hurt yourself.
great stuff! this is what inspires me. wopuld be great to be able what you do.. but untill that time im just following my own regimen to get as far as I can take myself with bodyweight training. I love it!
Excellent strength. I have now realised that weight training is unnatural and totally unecessary even for those who wish to develop world class strength levels. Bodyweight training can take you as far as you want to go as regards muscle size and strength.
Both have advantages. You don't have to choose. Why limit yourself to one thing? I love bodyweight exercises and I love weight training. Both make me stronger.
for most people it wont give them size for a very long time. it will give you the best weight to strength ratio of any type of exercize though. functional strength too, obviously.
You are extremely mistaken there headlisthorseman. For EVERY SINGLE PERSON it will result in size gains that are no less than the size gained from weight training. Maybe you only know of exercises like push ups, pull ups and dips? Try out things like full ROM handstand push ups, one arm chin ups, full bodyweight rows, one arm dips, ballistic dips, ballistic pull ups, side-to-side dips, one arm push ups, pseudo planche push ups etc.
did you read the comment? for MOST people it takes a LONG time. it happens eventually. most people dont wake up one morning, decide to get big, and do planche pushups.
also, your opening remark is asinine, as it requires only one counterexample to prove it wrong. go tell that to ronnie coleman, and im sure youll see him doing some one arm push ups for his next mr. olympia routine.
Maybe it does take a LONG time for many but this is just because of a lack of knowledge of how to smoothly progress with harder variations of exercises. Planche push ups can be worked up to progressively; there doesn't have to be a big jump.
Ring gymnasts are HUGE. Ronnie Coleman is quite ignorant indeed if he doesn't realise this. Resistance is resistance.
I can just imagine the first time he probably did any of those exercises; probably couldn't do one . But he didn't give in no matter what. Now look at this guy now. He is definitely, pound for pound one of the elite strongmen on earth. Thank you for the uploads.
Nice! Weight machines never inspired me either and this guy shows us how it can be done without machines... good job!! But be careful: this is high level training, kids don't try it at home ;-)
While they have all the new mechines for gaining muscle i still think that you need to stick to the old school somewhat and this guy knows how its done
Terrific. A welcome antitode to the garbage "bodybuilding" freshman videos that pollute YouTube. While I'm not averse to weight training, it should be complemented by old school strength exercises. This guy is the real deal.
Very impressive. Thats pretty intense. Lots of workout ideas. What about the alternating pushups between the palms and the back of the hands with the feet raised! Part of this looks like he working out in a B&Q store
