@Stormspik3 while the disease may be different the point was that when the talent is taken form you it would be better for your memories to go to, otherwise you will always remember what you were. in season one paul and denny have a conversation about when they were young and went to Alii's final fight, paul mentions that the shame of it was not how Ali fought but that he still thought he was Ali-he made that statement addressing Denny's seemingly descent into Alzheimer's.
