  • aloha Aldrine. Perfect work like always. Would be nice to get a video tutorial for this. Respect from Germany ;-)

  • i think that it sounds better on the ukulele than the guitar for real it realy does :)

  • almost the same like on guitar

    but very good played man!

  • Aldrine, please do a tutorial for this :)

awesome play btw, as usual! 5 stars!

  • aldrine how do you do that thing at the 12th fret?

  • It's called a "harmonic" (or "chime" in Hawaiian music). Just touch the string gently directly above the 12th fret, pluck it, then immediately remove your finger from the string. You can also do them on the 7th fret, although it's a lot harder on a uke than on a guitar (where you can also get them on the 5th fret), especially as the scale gets shorter.

  • yeah, i googled it and i know how to do it now, well thanks ^_^

  • think i'm gonna give this one a go, beautiful!

  • very nice:)enjoyed!

    thanks for sharing!

  • Aldrine!

My father is a classical guitarist. He used to teach Spanish classical guitar in the University of the Philippines before he moved to the United States. He plays this often and he taught it to me on guitar as well (half of it at least).

Bravo. Very nice arrangement you did there... I'll be sure to show this to my dad. =)

Oh, by the way... sorry I missed you and Ryan during the SoCal tour! Looks like you guys had a blast.

i came to support from the mecca baby Mira Mesa

  • Gorgeous. Really special.

  • im in love with this song

  • sweet!

  • Awesome dude!

  • You play beautifully it was amazing, I loved it :)

  • so damn good! u take the uke to a higher level, dont ever put that thing down!

  • Love your instrumentals. (Not that you don't sing well. Just that there's lots of good singers out there, but I've never heard anyone who can get a uke singing quite like you.)

  • Really nice! Do you find learning guitar has changed the way you look at the uke? When I played guitar only I never thought of playing really sweet songs like Carpenters or Disney. But the uke has expanded my interest in different genres and styles.

  • Wounderful!!!!

  • Beautiful...just amazing. Great job :)

  • So lovely!
