  • I can't wait to see this =D Even though I love McDonald's and all that kind of shit...

  • COPY, PASTE, AND PASS IT ON

The Cheney-Specter Bill (S. 2453) will make warrantless domestic spying permanently legal!

Bill Includes warrantless eavesdropping of all communications, and the data mining and profiling of every U.S. citizen.

If war is declared, warrantless searches of all homes and businesses will be legal.

In effect, the legal concept of "probable cause" will be eliminated from the Constitution.

Call and fax your Senators now, and tell them "NO" on Bill 2453.

  • this isnt about blame or european superiority, its about taking control of yourself, and making better choices. The film is a glimpse of Americas lazy, disgusting habits. We are doing it to ourselves.

  • i drink whiskey

  • Hamburgers are poop...

    Vegetables are grown in it.

  • european superiority? the truth is if you could cook you could control what you eat. obesity is starting to be a problem here, but he have greater eating culture that stops its growth.

  • There is actually a burgeoning obesity epidemic in Europe as well. I'm so tired of this European superiority; it blinds their judgement.

  • blah

  • we cannot blame fast food restaurant nor their ads because we all have free will to choose what we want to eat...

  • I can argue to you about us having free will, but the comment box is too small

  • hamburgers are actually poop!!!

  • lol haha! yeah the meat is full of industreal waste, poop, hormones, animal fleur, poop, and poop (poop)

  • If McDonalds can sell you a chicken sandwich for $1.39 how much did it cost them to make? Then think about the good quality ingredients they must be using. Sick Sick Sick.

  • i try to avoid fast food simply because its disgusting... this is yet another reason... "fecal coloforms" :-\

  • good book, enjoyed it.

kind of sad with the whole suicide guy and stuff though...

  • I found the book rather boring. Hopefully they've made the movie more interesting. It was a good read though, lots in there that consumers should know. Basically, everyone in the fast food business is getting screwed, especially the farmers and slaughterhouse workers. Oh yah, poop in the burger.

  • Obesity is about to beat smoking as the most preventable cause of death in the world

  • me use to eat lots von fastfood..now me never eats that crap anymore !

  • I read the book, it made me think a lot

  • US is the fast food nation and the people is selfish, uncultre and selfish, its the truth, dont get me wrong.

  • wach your mouth, Im ot from the US but you might start a very unpleasant debate with comments like these. You say it against US ppl, or US ppl say it against you, eitr way it racism.

  • I agree with btvsrocks--I've read the book, and this form of adaptation is kind of strange to me.

  • This make me hungry and I am not from US.. Let them be happy - :)

  • good thing im hindu and i dont eat beef , so far all i have to wry about is the chicken :(

  • woah, it's all chemicals and shit...damn, i want to go eat some burgers...it's about time someone made a movie showing that it's the chemicals that make it taste good...but it does taste good, doesn't it?

  • You meant "You bet your britches." right?

  • 1.85? screw that here in australia the minimum wage is like 7 bux... and thats scabby

  • After reading the book, I would've thought Fast Food Nation would be better adapted in documentary form rather than "dramatic movie" form. I'll have to see how it works out.

  • my name is Eric Schlosser!

  • o shit o.O "the occasional human arm?" omfg...wow I will not eat another burger from a fast food joint...I hvaen't latley anyways ^^...I've been actuall just ordering french fries or sald

  • Maybe those jumping the fence just want to visit the land that belonged to them before we took over.

    Hey, it worked for Israel.

  • I'm just waiting for the indiginous mexicans to start trying to take over mexico again, since they were there first... Fact is, civilization has relied on conquest, acquisition, and assimilation... I doubt there is an original people left on the face of the earth... This, however, is a bit off topic.

  • A. Didn't belong to anyone.

    B. Israel was an independent nation before Islam even existed. They didn't take someone else's land, they took their own land BACK.

  • Here in Hungary you get a $1.85/hour pay, if you just started. Not bad, eh?

  • okay you have to read Fast Food Nation from Schlosser to actually know about the fast food industry and the depht of it to actually understand the problem that is is going around in the world with the obesity crisis and how the food industry is money hungry and have no emotion for those who work extra hard in the meat packing industry and how they take advantage of immigrants who work for less than minimum wage..

  • Don't want to get fat? Don't eat there. Want more than minimum wage? Don't work there. Want to get paid a decent amount? Quit jumping a fence and trying to cheat your way in. Pretty simple.

  • You wouldn't do that to feed your family if there was no other way? I feel sorry for them.

  • Wouldn't what, feed them fast food? That's more expensive anyway. Illegally enter a country? No, work visas are way too easy to get.

  • chinese food is good

  • Big Mac and hold the fries

  • :::::::Great video to go agains EVERYTHING this films stands for:::::::www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgNxlJtG_k4

  • hey what the hell is this movie about..."hamburgers" what the f*ck!

  • cool, for a similar deconstuct check out this...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiAQb00BYv4

  • Isn't it nice that we live in a country where we have too much food. No matter how good we have it someone will find something to bitch about.

  • movie looks good. the real problem is corporate greed, not necessarily fast food. if mcdonalds could make more money selling us soy and spinach, they would have done it already.

  • Corporate greed is the problem. McDonalds needs to raise the food quality and pay a living wage. In N Out Burger does both. The difference? In N Out is privately held and has no shareholders to pay a dividend to.

  • Problem is the foods so cheap. You can go to McDonalds and fill up for $3 as opposed to going to subway and dropping $7-10. What people need to do is start eating at home, saving money and their hearts by eating what they buy at the grocery store.

  • If they were lucky enough to have cashed in with fast food, good for them. People have a choice whether or not they want to make their own food, or go get a number 5. I try to stay away from fast food but if some1 wants to eat 3 mcdonalds value meals a day, its their mistake and more importantly, their choice.

  • But it does affect you through higher taxes. McDonalds employees are paid minimum wage, live below the poverty line, and qualify for food stamps and other social services. There go your tax dollars. In N Out Burger pays a living wage, so your taxes don't have to be raised when it is time to pave a street or build a school or hire more cops.

  • Fast Food chains are the reason why obesity is so high in the country. Gotta get rid of them in order to save the world from money grubbin' corporations.

  • if you don't like fast food, don't go to fast food joints. If you don't like other people going to fast food places, get over it. What could be simpler than that?

  • Fast Food Nation is not about stopping people from going to fast food places -- it is about allowing people to make an INFORMED decision about what they eat at those places. Many of my friends have read this book and more than half still eat fast food. But they switched from McDonalds to In-And-Out Burger. That is all this book and movie are about -- giving people the information so that they can make a choice.

  • I haven't read it, so I'll take your word for it. I wasn't really responding to the book for that reason. But, surely you can admit that all too often these types of conversations regress to talk of legislating choice (removing the "wrong" choice).

  • It made people switch to In n out? Dude, that book's awesome... In n out is so good, it's practically not fast food. Still fattening, though.

  • Yeah, you'll still get fat, but In N Out uses fresh potatoes, fresh meat, and pays their employees a wage they can actually live on. The book, and hopefully the movie, allows the consumer to make an informed choice.

  • WANNA GO TO MCDONALDS TODAY??? DO YOU FEEL GUILTY EVERYTIME YOU CRAVE FAST FOOD? NEVER FEAR....MY DAD WILL TELL YOU WHY ITS OKAY TO BE FAT::::: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgNxlJtG_k4

  • man.. this movie is going to own. i hope all fast food chains die.

  • This country is too fat and fast food and laziness are to blame for a good portion of it.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycDp93eMFxY

  • I'm reading this book right now. :D

  • The book is awesome. It's really about the corporatism of America not necessarily about the food itself. I can't wait to see the movie.

  • Hells yeah! It's not just fast food, it's the whole animal industry. There's more shit in a glass of dairy milk then a flesh burger, (& pus & blood). What's on the ground around cows, where the udders drag?! Think they clean udders before hooking them to the milking machine?! Go vegan @ notmilk.com!!!

  • Oh man! Perfect video for this posting. Its all about McDonalds and why it is OKAY to eat at fast food places. Perfect::::: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgNxlJtG_k4

  • nope this is not a comedy movie! @question

... well, like you said... fast food stinks, but everybody is hooked on it ><"

  • Every two years, I hear things like these, but I never stopped eating and never seen people stop eating fast foods.

  • those kinda movies make me want to eat fast food... after supersize me i had a huge craving for mc donalds, lol!

  • i got a question how od u become a director

  • Is this a comedy? I can't tell. Looks kind of like the "Thank You For Smoking" for cheese-burgers.

  • blech i hate fast food! XP hormones, industrial waist, animal fleur blech

  • So fast food is bad for you? Wow, I had no idea. Thank goodness people are making movies about this subject... i would have never known otherwise.

  • I read the book and let me tell u i never wanna eat fast food again...

  • The joke's on everyone... Meat is shit, (turn vegan) Veggies have poison, (turn organic) Organic grown has cow shit on it (turn pure organic), my food bill's now 500 dollars a week... (find a part time job at McDonald's.) lol

  • Excellent trailer! It shouldn't take a movie like this to know that we shouldn't be eating fast food in the first place. Why do you think this country is so overweight? As Americans we have no self control. Regardless this should be a good movie!

  • vegans for the win

  • Damn right

  • Excellent trailer! ^_^ I'm currently reading Fast Food Nation in my English class (and we also just watched Supersize Me) and I already know I'll never eat fast food again!

  • FINNALLY! we get to know if we're really eating our own shit!

  • nope, just shit from other animals.

it's a good book, i hope the movie is just as good.

  • i cud've sworn i tasted my lasagna from last week in ther!

    *scratches head.

  • whether you loved or hated the trailer, you should definitely read this thoroughly researched and unbiased book. fast food has changed drastically; what was once a clean way to produce a dependable, affordable meal has become an error-riddled, profit driven business that exploits its workers and its consumers. the fast food industry has become a giant experiment (largely conducted on children) on the consumption of both marketing and new chemical compounds.

  • yuck!

  • People are posting saying like "Oh yeah fast food sucks, but I LOVE ME SOME KFC." I'll eat what I want, where I want. If you're a Vegan, or a Vegetarian, that's fine, just don't try to shove it down my throat. I like vegetables, and I like meat too. "Cook your own food". Yeah, get your meat from BJ's and fry up those worms. You think there's feces in McDonald's meat? Why don't you go make a movie called 2% Milk Nation? That's a bigger problem than fast food.

  • You, like those people are missing the point. Read the book. My girlfriend ate meat and only got through half of it and turned to a better eating lifestyle.

  • "The Truth is hard to swallow". That may be true. I don't like biased movies like these. "Millions of illegal immigrants", who are they to say that every Latino or Hispanic worker in McDonald's or any other fast food restaurant is an illegal immigrant? And then that part with the "millions of teenagers" where the kid dropped a patty on the floor. That's why they have supervisors, they'd whap them upside the head and get a fresh patty. I don't appreciate this prejudicial, biased piece of crap.

  • Soooo.... basically all you're saying is, "Wah, wah, wah."

  • Avril's shexshy :D

  • Awesome trailer. Can't wait to see the movie. If this kind of stuff interests you, you should also check out Aaron Russo's America from Freedom to Fascism which should be out later this year.

  • that's just a movie, si?

but y'all know having too much fastfood aint good for your own sake along with other concerns you may see or not see.

  • He means theres shit in the meat. They just beepd out the word.

  • Oh yeah, and there is Concentrated Beef Fat and Lard in McDonald's Fries

  • I read this book for a English Comp class and have written a few papers on it

Good book and very detailed, but surprised it was turned into a film

  • I gave up fast food years ago.. Except for KFC. I love KFC!

Just look at the bathrooms of any fast food place. Then you'll get an idea of what that garbage does to your stomach.

  • That movie looks SO good, I can't wait for my vegan self to go see it with my vegan boyfriend. Then we will go out and eat. Vegan food.

  • was that neccesary

  • cute....I love fast food...maybe thats why I'm so fat...mmmm...maybe i should be vegan....

  • u should read the book titled fast food nation :P really is a great read, honestly you will never look at fast food the same agian. And to known12, it is believed the reason humans find meat so tasty is because of the fat content, and because cavemen ate alot of fat and meat, it has been passed down in our genes that meat tastes good so that we eat it. So really it primal that meat and fat tastes so good, not because "he made it"

  • Fast Food is all opinions, the people who eat it don't really care what effects it has on your body, and the people who dont usually are more health cautious. But does it really make any sense to argue about something that is never going to change. This market brings some lucky fellow millions of dollars each year, and I can guarantee if you where that guy you wouldn't mind making an extra million if it ment making the food more artificial.

  • a w e s o m e

  • I strongly reccomend to watch the documentary "Supersize me". It's about this kind of food, and the effects it has on human health.

  • that is just nonesence why they should put shit in the meat :D !? that make no sence bro´s. they can put soja in it or anything but not shit. that´s just crazy :D

  • if we wrent supposed to eat animals he wouldnt have made them taste so good.if they tasted terrible we would all be eating vegatables, but they dotn they taste good, cause god wants us to eat meat.

  • Demise x 2

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hzj5u-5niLI

  • did that video ever come out?

  • Dark side? No way.. Who doesn't like eating meat when you know its been tortured for months or years on end.

In fact, I can taste the whip that they beat it with sometimes.. Usually you can just throw some pepper and catchup on there and it's all A-OK.

    Man I love Fast Food.

  • To Blindedbythelight: Yes there is shit in the meat. There is so much artificial crap too, you wouldn't believe. It's really horrible for you and they treat the animals horribly so I would suggest cutting down on fast food if you can.

  • theeres shit in the meat?

  • i read the book, and it personally has changed my life. I havnt eaten fast food in almost 3 years. I hope the movie has the same effect on others, as the book did with me.

  • that topic for a movie is over rated

    fuck that shit

when i saw the movie super size me all i wanted to do after was go to mcdonalds and have a big mac.

  • yuk

  • use your own minds and stop waiting for someone to 'meet your demands'...being a lazy intellect means nothing.

  • makes me wanna go to burger king, brb

  • Great, a whimsical ficticious film loosely based on a very real social problem. Airhead americans need to turn their televisions off and read more. The fox corporation is equally to blame for the homogenisation of culture as any fast food chain.

  • I think you all have smelly camel toes

  • Looks interesting.

Okay people, no one is forcing you to eat this garbage, true. BUT, there are millions of poor people out there that are scraping to get by and guess what kind of food is the cheapest and on every corner?

The film looks more entertaining and informative than most major hollywood films surfacing these days

  • Why they feel the need to make this isnto a movie rather than a documentary is sooooo beyond me

  • Avril Lavigne is in that movie. :)

  • fuck that bitch :)

  • This was a book assigned for classes at my school. Now it's a movie.

  • did... it was a movie a long time ago

  • macdonalds is shit food- chemical crap for a fat and stupid world , although I agree people sometimes get mad at someone else for their own bad-choices, - im a fan of director Richard Linklater-

this dosent look too interesting but his new film 'a scanner darkly' looks good

  • I was not like that guy in Super Size me, I only ate it because I wanted too and I knew I was not going to get anymore Mcdonalds, or Taco bell again for a whole year. I went on a Bing. I didn't even gain a pound!! WHY? I did something called RUNNING, PUSHUPS, and SITUPS!! MY GOD what can they do for you!!! Also I drank a lot of water!! And yes, I did eat some good food, but I still had some sort of fast food every day before I came to Iraq!!

  • TO all you people out there. I love McDonalds, and Taco Bell. I am not fat, nor am I unhealthy. I am in the Army, serving in Iraq, and it sucks that I can't get a good BigMac out here. PEOPLE!!! STOP BLAMING SOMEONE ELSE FOR BEING FAT and uunhealty, BLAM YOURSELF!! For one whole month, I hate nothing but Fast Food!!! And I am still skinny, and in good health.

  • gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gayest fucking book i ever was forced to read lol

  • ITS GONNA SUCK, WE HAD TO READ IT IN CLASS... AND HAVE TA SAYYY, WORST BOOK IN THE WOORLDD

  • This is going to be interesting making a movie out of a nonfiction book that isn't a documentary.

  • You are what you eat. Never a truer word has been spoken. Before you judge, try eating nothing but fresh fruits, vegetabes, grains, and nuts, and driniking nothing but pure water for a month. If you don't feel any diffent after a month, then by all means return to your previous diet of poison and filth. Unfortunatley all you will experience is a huge improvement in health, energy levels, mood, and more.

  • Once again I draw your attention to the addictive nature of MSG, a key component in fast foods.

  • Tobacco companies, knowing their product is addictive, marketed it agressively and created myths and misinformation to indicate that it was harmless. Fast food and processed food companies, knowing that if they could get people addicted they could make more money, added addictive chemicals to your food. The FDA, American Diabetic Association, etc sit back and allow this to happen for one simple reason ... the fast/processed food industry pays them to.

  • Does anybody up there know when's it gonna be released?

  • yes... I haven't even had one fry from McDonalds in 4 years since I got a stomach virus, this is like payback, their sales are goin downnnnn after this one

  • Can't wait for this movie. There needs to be some kind of intellectual revolution in this country. Capitalism is great but it needs to be checked by protection of health.

  • O.K. Commradde

  • Making fun of Dr Phil.

  • It's about time...you go! Please also watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKoHYq3NEME

  • i'm reading the book as summer work for school i can't really get into it...not because its not a good book but because i'm not really into reading documentary type books but other than that i think its pretty imformative i just hope trhe movie isn't a total bust

  • This movie is going to be hilarious. I'm not even sure I could take it seriously, yet I'm only assuming that's what the producers want me to do.

  • Reading fast food nation will basically tell you what you already know by using common sense. McDonals employees are paid minimum wage, the fast food industry has adopted "mass production" step techniques in fast food restaurants, and that McDonalds is a rutheless company just like Disney...

    Whats in the food?

    E. coli 0157:H7 ,Campylobacter jejuni, Cryptosporidium parvum, Cyclospora cayetanensis, Listeria monocytogenes, and Norwalk-like viruses.

  • That trailer has a real menacing quality about it. I probably won't like what i see, but i'll definately be watching this movie.

  • Ooh!! Looks like they did a good job with this. Some of those scenes play straight out of the book, with Greg Kinnear acting as author Eric Schlosser. This is gonna rock the world...!

  • The book Fast Food Nation was published in 2000 and the director of Supersize Me interviews the author on the DVD. But nice try.

  • Hey, check out my videos.

  • What's in the meat?!?!?

This is the most BORING ever! But you will watch!

  • Woot i luv eating synthetic meat, it's to die for..........literally.

  • Thats not funny at all.

  • geers u idiot, this is based on a book which came out way before supersize me, you uncultured swine! put u in a burger and sell you to some fatty!

  • why do people still eat meat?

  • because its DELICIOUS

  • lol cool

    if u like dod:s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_zXwVwljUE

  • I"m glad their making a movie about this great book. Now the american's who are to lazy to read the book, which is most people, will finally be able to see what it being put into their food. I can't wait to see it!

  • Hmm. Didn't they make a movie about fast food already? Oh yeah. SUPER SIZE ME.

Find somthing original to write about.

  • stfu...This one is a REAL movie..not some biography on some dude trying to get McDonalds to kill him...

  • I will be first in line when this movie comes out!!! Down with McDonalds & Burger King & Carls Jr. & all the rest of the fast food market just making money off of poisioning us!!!!

  • hot holy shat, now i have to go read the book.

    cool.

  • im shocked at all this spam, they should make a burger out of it

  • It nice to see movies about the americanized plague...

  • I've read the book by Eric Schlosser and I recognized most of the things. But this doesn't looks like a documntary wich I first thougt this movie would be.

  • yeah, when i first heard they were making a move based on this book, i didn't believe it. it doesn't seem like something you can make a holiday movie out of... but hey the trailer looks good.
