those epiphones... well pretty much all gibsons now period except for the high-end ones are pieces of shit. chambering a Les Paul kills it. I have a 78 LP custom. the whole sound is supposed to come from the enormous fucking piece of wood behind it.

noooo, by all means do buy it if you think its worth it. i was just saying i dont like the way they construct the lower-end models. if the one your looking at is nice and heavy (heavier than most others) then you are looking at a good les paul. overall, I would buy from companies like Gibson and Fender than other brands - chambered or not, their quality is usually very consistent.

to tell the truth, if you want reeeally cool custom guitars, I'm ordering a DC400 from this califrnia company called Carvin. those guys make seriously good guitars.

The standard 08 really is a fine piece of art.

I don't agree with what you're saying, a couple of years ago gibson was quite expensive for not much, but now it's the other way around; they're doing some real good guitars at some okay prices.
