The problem with this is you have to also have to be aware of where north is at all times. If you turn around, the screen doesn't orientate itself to it. So you could be moving the complete opposite direction from your team mates if you are not facing north. If it did this, it would be worth the money. A built in walkie would be useful as well.

Also you would have to buy 2 for it to work, meaning you need to spend $500+ to get a dual pack for you and your teammate. If your teammate has one its still going to cost $250+. this is not a heartbeat sensor, its a civilian version of A blue force tracker used by armed services

From what it can do, I think if a GPS (with a map) could be moded to synchronize and track other GPSs, it would be better. At $250 per unit, and not even being able to find North on it's own the motion tracker seems a bit pricey.

If you're playing real airsoft, not with your friends but a place dedicated for airsoft, there will be shouting, shooting and alot of noise. I dont think a walkie talkie will make a impact. Plus you can use headsets. Also im very sceptical how far will those trackers work. Walkie talkies can go as far as 40 metres or more.

I'm not too convinced. It only holds a charge for about 6 hours if on the lowest screen brightness. It also only has a range of half a kilometer, and can only link 10 people. Not bad but for $500 I'd like it to work better. Maybe after some updates... ;)
