You, sir, are my new hero! If I've never heard of a band, I assume I'm behind the curve and late to the game. But apparently when other people haven't heard of a band, they get outraged and insult them without knowing a thing about them. If you've listened to them and don't enjoy them, that's a different story, but to say they don't deserve a Grammy either because you don't like them or you've never heard of them is unbelievable. I can't stand all the hate.

To be honest im not close minded at all, I listen to more indie and alternative than mainstream and im all for listening to new stuff, I specially care for songs with real instruments and real lyrics but this band just doesnt hit me that way so for that matter I dont think they deserved the grammy , neither am I saying it belonged to gaga or katy perry, and I am from Texas and people here were still wtf just saying

I don't even like Arcade Fire that much, but they're no where near a terrible band (they can play instruments and they write their own songs, which makes them more talented than more than half the nominees) and they're pretty popular, too popular in fact to be called an indie band.
