Jason's ability reigns over the rest of the world's guitarists, even though he isn't able to play today. He is definately very underrated.
It is so unfortunate that of all the people in the world, Jason Becker aquired ALS. There are many people who do nothing useful with their lives, as well as those who do wrong to the lives of others, and then there is Jason Becker who took talent to new levels.
Jason was the best ever and everyone who plays should own the cacophony cd's. While these vid clips are far from his best playing (i think he was 16 in the last one) Air, altititudes, and mabels fatal fabel are must hear pieces. Then he goes on to do what he has done since. If his story doesn't make you cry get your tear ducts checked.
Ok Becker is awesome, but when he puts his arm under his leg and almost falls down, that's hilarious. I also liked the way the principal makes him turn down the amp LOL!
I hope that one day Jason will be able to play musical instruments again I hope that he kicks ALS's ass

Jason's ability reigns over the rest of the world's guitarists, even though he isn't able to play today. He is definately very underrated.
It is so unfortunate that of all the people in the world, Jason Becker aquired ALS. There are many people who do nothing useful with their lives, as well as those who do wrong to the lives of others, and then there is Jason Becker who took talent to new levels.

Jason was the best ever and everyone who plays should own the cacophony cd's. While these vid clips are far from his best playing (i think he was 16 in the last one) Air, altititudes, and mabels fatal fabel are must hear pieces. Then he goes on to do what he has done since. If his story doesn't make you cry get your tear ducts checked.

Who knew it would be in a a kid growing up practicing guitar everyday since 5, become a 16 year old prodigy and at 20 Fate hits you with ALS...
I honestly cried reading about him after my first time watching him do an amazing guitar solo with the yo-yo lol.
Then I cried again watching another video :(

Ok Becker is awesome, but when he puts his arm under his leg and almost falls down, that's hilarious. I also liked the way the principal makes him turn down the amp LOL!
