Photographs. No photo evidence exists of any gas chamber. These photos show SS staff at work. No slaughter, no mass executions, just soldiers laughing and enjoying themselves like everybody else.

No, prove the myths were real. We have all heard these sob stories but no evidence ever backs up these claims.
As for the 'real historical record' well, there is none. We have no paper trail, no photographs and no credible hard evidence. So to be honest short of some unsubstantiated eyewitness statements there really is no historical record and for a nation that photographed and recorded everything i find it hard to believe these wild accusations.

Okay. Census statistics. There were approximately 4 million MORE jews after the war than registered before.
Photographs. No photo evidence exists of any gas chamber. These photos show SS staff at work. No slaughter, no mass executions, just soldiers laughing and enjoying themselves like everybody else.
The paperwork galore you mention... where? The one thing that keeps this debate wide open is the distinct lack of it to back up any of these 'eyewitness statements'

Of course there is paperwork - orders for Zyklon B gas, blueprints and orders for building materials for the crematoria etc. Then there's the eyewitness testimony, diaries of the sonderkommando, confessions of guards and commandants, Himmlers Posen speech in which he explicitly talks about the destruction of European Jewry, not to mention the minutes of the Wansee conference...

Buergenthal talks about how they screamed at night being led to the gas chambers, yet the majority of witness reports, especially the SS staff categorically declare all killings were done during the day, so even if these reports were half truthful or indeed half genuine that makes Buergenthal a total liar.

Burial pits- prove nothing. Typhus epidemics and the allied directive to destroy all axis food resources added to the prisoner death tolls. Also no bodies were found at any of these camps with signs of gassing as cause of death.
Paperwork- zyklon B. Yes. used as insecticide. used by axis and allies alike.
Blue prints and crematoria- again, crematoria were present in both allied and axis camps for body disposal. Allied camps had typhus too remember....

The line "Deutschland ueber alles", written already in 1841, does only refer to the dream of a reunified Germany in the 19th, saying that (a unified) Germany should stand over everything else, over every other interest the divided german states might have at that time and it became national anthem not earlier that in 1922, where Germany was a democratic (and peaceful) non-nazi country.

This IS correct. I knew a Holocaust survivor 50 years ago. She told me, through her tears, what went on. She told that she could not have children because of the experiments that were done on her. I saw the tatooed numbers on her arm. The awareness for this should have been blown wide open 50 years ago!

Rudolf Hoess never denied what was going on, despite knowing he would die for it. Yes, he likely would have been executed, even if he had denied what was done. So what! He didn't!
