  • I've had SLAP and then got surgery three years ago. Now I'm climbing and lifting people alright, but it's been a long way. Maybe if I had just stopped for the time I had to after the surgery and done some physio I'd have healed the same. But each case is a case. Now when I feel a lesion coming, I just try to stop and dedicate myself to another physical activity that involves different movements that aren't painful.

  • How is the shouler? Slap tear right? My VA doctors won't do anything for me man, I have been out of the gym for 2 months now, I need some motiviation.

  • @38wardo Yep. SLAP tear. It's OK doc says it won't heal on its own and suggested surgery. It really only bothers me when I do certain overhead movements like overhead squats. I choose to stay away from the exercises that aggravate it. Doc says that'll be fine and that I likely won't make it worse.

  • Brother I have the same problem, and I am training for grappling and MMA also let me know whats up please?

  • @38wardo Will do my man. I'll know something on Monday the 14th
