Chronicle is a great film and its very original. And DRIVE is the best film ever made. There is "Movies" and then there are "Films". DRIVE is a film. Its a freaking Masterpiece.
YOU DIDN'T LIKE "THE THING"????? What the heck is wrong with you? "THE THING" was awesome. I loved it. The only problem I had with it was they showed the monster too soon, when they revealed it hiding under that building. But other than that, it was freaking awesome.
@Timothy24259 you should probably learn to spell before you leave retarded comments..and last time I checked everyone is a money "HOR"...it's spelled "whore" btw. Also, you should probably become a money "HOR" and take the money you make and go back to school ...idiot!
@ZGReelProductions Really? I saw drive last saturday and it was the first time i thought about leaving the cinema early. In the end the whole room (guess 200 people) discussed who bad it was and how they envyed the people who left the cinema after 20 mins. Never experienced anything close before.
@ZGReelProductions I don't know. I just thought it was odd, that most of the poeple on youtube seem to love this movie and most of the people on that night seem to find it boring as hell. Maybe it's a culture thing or a statistical anomaly. Anyway, no hard feelings. :)
You've probably been asked this 62, no, 63 times already; but what were the basics on those little transition doodley woppits? I'm looking for a simple explanation or tutorial, but from what I've seen on your channel you don't really do those... No problem muchacho, keep up them sick-ass videos NaI'mSayin?!
LOL @ Ryan at the end, lol. Oh and dam, i hope they won't make Hangover 3. The only reason why Hang over 2 had gotten so much money was because Part 1 was GOOD and I thought or WE thought part 2 was going to be just as good or better but nope! Part 2 was just a shrug on the shoulder with disappointments, was hoping part 2 was better than part 1 but turns out, part 1 was better and wasted my money to watch hang over 2. So I hope they won't make part 3 or else they'll lose money!! XD
Havnt seen Drive but I know some lady sued for claiming false pretences due to the movie was promoted as an action flick and she said it had no action?
@Qristos The action comes in short, powerful bursts. In one scene, a girl gets her head blown right the hell off. I can see why she would be mad, but it's got some nice story. Of course, Americans these days want explosions and hot chicks, in that order, nothing else.
Alot of people assume that Paul was a part of the series just because of Nick and Simon, but it's not. The Worlds End will be amazingly great as SOTD and Hot Fuzz. Can't wait.
Okay, I review movies on my blog, and NO ONE liked Drive even though I honestly did, the cinematography was great, and the fight/death scenes were always brutal as hell. But that was my only complaint as well was the 2 minute awkward stares and silences. But if you get past those such a goood movieee.
the themes of the films are the different colours of cornetos and their favourite genres of film. Shaun of the dead is the red(strawberry) corneto and is zombies. Hot Fuzz is the blue cornetto(chocolate) and is action. There is roumours that The worlds end is the green cornetto(mint) and is sci-fi. The red is for blood, the blue for police and the green may meen aliens but no one is really sure.
I understand Ryan reviewing the trailers for upcoming films, but when a movie as come out on theaters or on DVD and Ryan hasn't seen them, saying thing like "oh, I hadn't seen it but I guess it's cool/it sucks". It sounds like you don't know anything about movies, which is obviously not true.
I can't stand Paul Giammati. I tried to but I think it's for two reasons. 1. He has a weird face. 2. Shoot 'em Up was one of the worst movies of all time.
I'm 14 and I watched Drive. CAUSE I IZ A BADASS! Anyways, hugely happy to see that Edgar and Simon have got started on a flip chart for "The Worlds End", there's a special feature on the "Shaun of the Dead" DVD where you see them go through the flip chart for that film :D
I had a hard time enjoying drive. I wanted to like it, but the slow pace threw me off. It wasn't bad, but I guess I was expecting something totally different.
Did you guys see Attack The Block? It's really great. Ed Wright was a lot to do with it, and it's got Nick Frost in it. Not really a comedy so much as a great low-budget thriller/Spielberg love-letter.
@17thSHIT Moses is a biblical story so it will be Bible crap doesn't matter how it's filmed. Although the very thin paper in the Bible is also good for crap soo.... I look forward to the your angry replies (which is very unchristian of you shame! Turn the other cheek?).
@speebyda I said bullshit religious crap not biblical. The bible is a historically inaccurate account of a desert tribe and their savior - that I have no problem with. It's when people take it seriously as if it is true and historically accurate then I have a problem. I just don't want the movie to seem pious and overly religious. It should focus more on the myth itself and less on trying to spread itself as truth.
"In time" was actually worth watching if you liked DRIVE you should give it a chance. its unique and an original movie among all the remakes and zombie-like-trilogy..(ness?) that seems to be swallowing Hollywood
@SaeedOshee It's where they choose a particular actor or movie and try to reach them in the fewest possible clicks by only clicking cast or movie links on IMDB. I don't remember which episode it's from though.
