  • I just found my new tax return toy.

  • I'm a new viewer to your videos. I really like your straightforward no bs style. That flag is awesome too.

  • Thanks!

The flag is available from Seven Brothers Mercantile (sevenbros-dot-com) for only $4.99. Measures 3x5 feet with 2 grommets. Search for "M4 Come and Take It Flag", item number fsh-m4. We have no financial interest, it's just a cool flag that everyone should own.

  • @Gunblastdotcom thanks i might get one of these flags in the future sometime to hang on my bedroom wall because its empty and I'm used to having things like that on my wall, gun posters etc etc

  • That is a beautiful 1911. I started with the 1911 and over time I became a 100% Glock user. But that 1911 is nice enough to want one just as a thing of beauty. I wish they came with the series 70 internals.

  • Nice review. It's hard not to like 1911's they're proven and a century old design. That one looks very nice. Pricey, however. I have a Taurus 24/7 OSS .45 I mainly carry currently...which I actually prefer over a 1911 as a carry sidearm. Reasons being obvious for those that know the features of a 24/7 OSS.

Still they both work fine to stop a threat, have fun at the range or your backyard if setup for shooting.

I thought I saw somewhere you were from TN. Me too..between Smyrna and Murfreesboro.

  • hey Jeff, can you please do a review on Froglube and tell us what you think of it come pare to other gunlube and what gunlube you perfer to work best for your many different firearms?...thank you and thanks for the great videos.

  • I do not have the proper equipment to do a fair evaluation comparing the lubricity and molecular shear strength of the long polymers in modern firearms lubricants. For many years, I just use Break Free CLP on everything.

    Jeff

  • @maddog33afi

    Frog... lube

  • @maddog33afi english, mfer, do you speak it - pulp fiction. but applied to your terrible typing.

  • Hey Jeff, what are your thoughts on wilson combat 1911's and do you have any plans to review one?

  • They are good pistols, but I do not think they are any better than some 1911 pistols that cost a few hundred less.

    jeff

  • Like that Hat!!

  • Jeff, you're what I call a True American. I appreciate your reviews very much. Hope you've recovered 100% from your eye surgery.

The first Sig 1911's didn't impress me. They're better now. The one thing that annoys me is the triggers on these. They are either the long type or, like here, flat faced which I don't care for. I'd like to see Sig make a GI style .45 with GI style sites and a fiber optic front. No rail. No guide rod. Simple beavertail and ONE extended safety. Matte black finish.

  • cool gun, and i don't know if anyone else had the same thing happen but when they panned out the hat just grabbed your attention lol.

  • thanks for the great reviews on this gun.

  • You know, Jeff, the problem with guns this beautiful is I will never abuse 'em. That's why I have a bunch of Glocks....ugly as hell, but they just keep putting out. I know there is a girlfriend joke in there somewhere.

  • Really like those grips, maybe get sum 4 my Springfield

  • Boooo...you trimmed your beard! Great vid. Love ur quotes....side meat.

  • No, I didn't trim my beard. I re-braid it every week, and sometimes it's tighter than other times.

  • wow that was a really nice group at 25 yds!

  • that acura commercial was pretty funny with seinfield and leno lol.

i am in the market for a 1911, but i have to keep it on a budget.

i wish i was able to afford a kimber or a colt, but it's kind of out of the budget. i might have to resort to RIA. sootch and hickok gave it some good reviews.

  • That's an excellent 1911

Sig Sauer has really stepped up and made some great 1911s

I've been eyeing up their carry fastback nightmare

  • Mine came directly from Sig.

    jeff

  • the sig p238 went through around 3-4 modifications before they were content with it.. some people had issues with feeding and some did not. supposedly its fixed now largely. Perhaps H4T had a earlier factory run. and they shaved the mag or something now. or lemon for him lol.

  • Sig is awesome guns, thanks for your presentation ...

  • On my To Buy list.

  • Very nice. I like it. Commander length is the way to go.

  • Wow very cool

  • This was a pistol I was considering buying...the info you presented helped me finally decide...THANKS Jeff !!

  • Just beautiful, I love it!!! Now I'm not gonna be able to stop thinking about it Can you send that one to me sir? Lol god bless

  • this gun really makes my dick tingle

  • @ecollins92 thats because you got it caught in the slide.

  • @thehotsixer looks like you caught me red handed

  • I LIKE 'EM TIGHT.

  • I have have a full size and Carry Scorpion. These guns are awesome!

  • I can usually take it or leave it with Sig 1911s but that sure is a peach!

  • Very nice gun from Sig!

  • That Melon got wasted, too funny man, cant afford guns like these, maybe do a review soon with Ruger Lc9, and Lcp,great reviews Jeff!

  • external extractor = not a real 1911

  • I would not want to be your camera man at 4:15.

  • It's okay. He is my brother. I have two more almost as good as he.

    Jeff

  • JEFF :P Dammit you trimmed the beard. It was getting properly epic with that bushy viking look as it grew sideways. What the hell gives man?

And great review as always :D

  • I haven't trimmed my beard in twenty years. Not intentionally anyway. I did trim just a bit with a chainsaw last year.

    jeff

  • @Gunblastdotcom Hehe well trimming a beard with a chainsaw adds to the epicness. I just recall your beard growing out sideways and this time it looked right in close to your chin.

That damn scorpion is nice. Already got a 1911 same lenght....but this is nice. Heavy price tag though, usual for a SIG

  • Must be a tighter braiding job.

  • Nice looking pistol, and I like the holster. I'm looking to check one out. One small request, when you have the videos of the CCW guns (and holster), it would be awesome to have you "model" the gun and holster with your typical clothing that you wear, just so we can see how well it conceals. Thanks, I love your videos.

  • I do have pictures of me wearing the holster in the text review on Gunblast.com.

    Jeff

  • They may functions well and be a quality piece, but some of the Sig 1911s are so damn ugly!

  • Vary nice

  • Beautiful pistol! I was looking at a used Sig 1911 or a new Springfield 1911 Range Officer... I went with the Springfield. I kind of like the traditional internal ejector design - just personal preference. I may still get a Sig. I wwtched this vid on my phone, so I didn't get a real good look... what kind of hat are you wearing? Looks good!

  • It's a Midsouth Shooter's Supply hat.

  • i think H4T received a lemon

  • Sweet, whats the going price on theese?

  • I dislike the trigger pull on the sig 1911's not impressed.

  • @usmccapdevil maybe your sig 1911, but mine has a great trigger better than any other 1911 ive had

  • @shootaglock No just the ones i tried, The S&W E series felt alot better but a pound of trigger pull will do that

  • I purchased one full size runs great thanks for a great review friend

  • looks like it would make a nice bbq gun

  • humans4targets2 here on youtube made a video of this pistol, tuned out being a jam-o-matic id not buy this.

  • @TMHonfire102 Ya i seen that video!

  • @TMHonfire102 I saw that too. I think when he finally got some Wilson Combat mags it changed everything. Gun ran flawless after he threw those rubbish Sig mags away.

  • @HitOrMissEtc For a concealed carry 1911, stick with Colt instead. I like their New Agent model with the Crimson Trace grips.

  • I tested the pistol with 14 different types of ammunition, and experienced zero failures of any kind. Please see the referenced review for more info.

  • @TMHonfire102 EVERY 1911 should run with GI style mags. that's what they were designed to use and i think that's what he had before the wilson mags.

  • @TMHonfire102

It was a magazine related issue, or user issue.

I've seen a lot of people complain about them, I think they need to buy some 7 round magazines with stiffer springs until the gun is broke in.

  • @TMHonfire102 I remember cokeman having issues with his p220. The pricepoint of the average Sig was keeping me away, and the customer service anecdotes are not helping.

  • @FirepowerConcealed I saw multiple Scorpions at Gunnies in Utah a month ago.

  • nice video thanks.

  • @FirepowerConcealed Bank St guns as one in stock, they are located in AZ!

  • Love the videos Jeff! Thanks
