if layrites getting expensive, use body lotion to moisten up your hair, then use a small amount of layrite for hold then do your do. my hairs half this length and i can get the same height, its just a bitch to get the front to bend at the top. eventually when it grows out enough i wont need to do the lotion trick but its alot cheaper, and it holds just as well. just give it a few minutes before you go out to let it set up.
