Even if these animals were living in 5 star hotels I wouldn't eat meat. Murder is wrong, no matter how "nicely" it is done. I just wished I realized this and started thinking about these things a long time ago, but that is one of the weaknesses of humans, we don't think sometimes. Another weakness is hypocrisy, some people know eating meat is wrong, but still they do it. No one enjoys seeing these kinds of videos (perhaps apart from a few very sick and twisted individuals), but it is always worth watching them if it will give you knowledge and help you make the connection.
The amount you suffer through watching the video is very small compared to the amount the animals suffer, actually being forced to live in the situation and actually having what you see inflicted onto them. @Peanutlane The method you are talking about is parylysis via stunning, used by slaughterhouse workers (not butchers - they just sell the parts of flesh in their dirty little shops after the animals have been killed and their tortured decomposing bodies are chopped up), this method indeed is an instant snap - but it does not kill them, nor does it disable their nervous system, it just stuns them, causes them to be unable to move, they can still feel everything they go through.
And even if they couldn't feel it, it still wouldn't make it right. Like I say, they don't exist for meat, they don't exist to be exploited, they exist for themselves, as sentient individuals. Your whole concept is wrong, exploitation of any kind should be abolished not welfarised.

The only reason the piglets mother may have died from a disease would be because of the filthy conditions they are being kept in inside the meat industry. We have canines, for tearing up MEAT. Vegetarians have to take iron supplements which means we need red meat for iron. That fact that our bodies can digest meat is proof that were designed to eat meat. And we dont have super fast reflexes an claws- yea cus we dont need them :L

Vegetarians and vegans do not need to take supplements, I'd know, being a vegan. (check out vegan fitness). Everything that cound be found in meat can be found in natural sources, and it's healthier because our bodies digest it much easier and we have a longer life expectancy, less risk of developing cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, obesity, and other health problems or illnesses. Teeth - short, round jaws with mainly flat teeth (herbivorous - ours), long, narrow jaws with sharp pointed teeth (carnivorous), intestines - long (herbivorous, ours) short (carnivorous), we do not have claws, super-fast reactions and are not capable of high-speed. We also do not naturally find corpses appealing for food.

It also certainly is not natural for us to consume corpses, our bodies are much more similarly modelled to that of a herbivorous diet. BILLIONS of animals are killed each year in experiments, and the results are unreliable because every species reacts differently. Other, none-animal methods exist which should be put to use and such would be better.

Even if these animals were living in 5 star hotels I wouldn't eat meat. Murder is wrong, no matter how "nicely" it is done. I just wished I realized this and started thinking about these things a long time ago, but that is one of the weaknesses of humans, we don't think sometimes. Another weakness is hypocrisy, some people know eating meat is wrong, but still they do it. And we treat cute animals as pets with love and kindness but others "deserve" to die so we can have our f-ing "happy" meals.

The only reason the piglets mother may have died from a disease would be because of the filthy conditions they are being kept in inside the meat industry. The meat (and dairy) industry take masses of their land to grow FEED for these mass-bred animals used for meat, which instead should be used by those people to grow FOOD. There is no solution to stopping killing micro-organisms, it is impossible. There is however, an easy, obvious, rational and within perspective way of not harming and killing animals just as there is not harming and killing ourselves. Stop trying to justify your support of a holocaust, there is no excuse. Again, there is no alternative to not eating plants - but plants are not sentient, they have no brain, no central nervous system. We and other animals do. Sentience is the key here.

Vegetarians and vegans do not need to take supplements, I'd know, being a vegan. (check out vegan fitness). Everything that cound be found in meat can be found in natural sources, and it's healthier because our bodies digest it much easier and we have a longer life expectancy, less risk of developing cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, obesity, and other health problems or illnesses. Teeth - short, round jaws with mainly flat teeth (herbivorous - ours), long, narrow jaws with sharp pointed teeth (carnivorous), intestines - long (herbivorous, ours) short (carnivorous), we do not have claws, super-fast reactions and are not capable of high-speed. We also do not naturally find corpses appealing for food.

It also certainly is not natural for us to consume corpses, our bodies are much more similarly modelled to that of a herbivorous diet. Although I find your cause fairly noble and agree wholeheartedly that certain nations seriously need to stop these monstrosities, I disprove of your idea that all animals should be treated as equals to humans. Should we allow other species to suffer such pain? Obviously not. However, you must also accept that death is a natural part of life and our very nature and life often depends on killing other animals. @JonWhite17 If the world goes vegan we could cure world hunger 3 times over. And as for vivisection, this is both unethical and unscientific. BILLIONS of animals are killed each year in experiments, and the results are unreliable because every species reacts differently. There are countless examples of cases where vivisection has lead to human injury and death, see VIOXX, TGN1412 and Thalidomide for just a few. Other, none-animal methods exist which should be put to use and such would be better.

Vivisectors have admitted themselves that such methods would be more efficient than animal testing, when cornered in debate, and an increasing numbers of doctors, scientists and other professionals are now going against vivisection and supporting the none-animal, better methods.
Those who advocate for animals, care about people too.
