Great sport for father and son. I like the prm better but slg seems a little quieter. Still have to say my ion is just as good as my pmr. Just pmr is a better lookng gun.

@neond7 , Hum, in fact you can use Co2 , if you enter on google Dye tech support , proto slg manual , you´ll see that you can use it.Theres no solenoids to get damaged in this gun (proto slg) this gun was disigned for palyers who dont have acces to HPA , or its too expensive for them.There is also a video in wich Billy wing shoots the slg with Co2 and asures you that there wont be any problem , still I know HPA is way much better :P , love your DYE rotor the the way , good luck!!

actually,they upgraded the barrel and trigger on the 09 proto slg,because the 08 suked.the 09 proto slg stock barrel is one of the best stock(out of the box)barrels yet.(within the med. price range guns)

Normally the more expensive gun is better. Last weekend was the first time I've gotten to use his SLG UL in a game because my PMR broke. After using the SLG, I really liked it - actually better than my PMR. Its only drawback is it is pretty loud. I was making a bunker run and I think the noise gave me away..... Other than that, its a great deal for the price.

@xXwarstuserXx My next gun will probably be an Ego - but not for a year or two. The Etek's are shooting great. I'll be honest, the spool guns can be annoying with their high maintenance o-rings. I've had lots of leak issues with both the PMR and SLG UL. Both our Etek's have had zero problems! Don't get me wrong, the spool guns are still good, just a bit more of a headache!

We brought our backup guns (my PMR and his SLG UL) to the field yesterday. My PMR was breaking paint for the first round, then the o-ring in the ASA blew out, so I think that was causing it to shoot bad the first part of the day. I ended up using his SLG which shot awesome and he got the Etek 2 out of the car and used that the rest of the day. Always bring a backup gun, but make sure you backup gets regular maintenance!!!!

Congrats on the new PMR. Hey how is the Dye Rotor hopper anyways? Because I had my Halo V35 hopper for about 3 and a half years now and its starting to jam on me a little bit. Not a big deal but I think its about time to get a new hopper.

Both our Dye Rotors have been flawless. Only replaced the batteries once, and that was just a precaution so I don't know how much longer they would have lasted.

you can but i highly disagree with using it its a single reg unbalanced spool which tend to have a higher operating pressure then regular spools but idk if it has a operating pressure under 250 youll be fine but anything over that you may be in trouble so i suggest you get a hp tank
