I hope that in the coming municipal elections and future national elections South Africans get the opportunity to vote for parties and candidates that will actually improve education, the economy, and infrastructure. Racial harmony can never be perfect, but I hope that you can find good things about America's work-in-progress harmony.

Wow @MazBringsby. I'm a white south African and I got an excellent job in the middle of a recession. It's all about the individual. God's plan/ fate/ karma/ etc does not pander to government legislation. It's about you and the quality of person you are. What you put out is what you get back. @Ondria123 If you read properly, you would notice that I am saying that the reason why white people are STILL better off in South Africa, is because of institutionalized racism.

An example of such racial bias was a controlled (same level of qualification, pass symbol) sample of job applications , which indicated that employers were MORE LIKELY to hire whites than blacks.

This phenomenon was at its highest in the Western Cape.

Only reason whites in South Africa stepped down and stopped exploiting and killing blacks is because of SANCTIONS.

So I went to the World Cup last year and met with some journo friends from the major newspapers here, and the general consensus is that the DA is causing more harm than good in interracial relations.
