Well, I want my second child before turning 18 so they move out by the time I'm 30. I'll retire early and party the rest of my life. I could CARE LESS about parties right now since most kids my age are pathetically immature. Nows the time to start a life. young bodies recover faster and have easier labors. The stretch marks will also fade away over time. We have the energy now to chase around a toddler and pull all nighters with babies.

I can't stand the fact that these teens keep getting pregnant. Every year the numbers are increasing drastically. I was a teen before but I was never like this before you go and judge me. Marriage isn't some sort of band-aid solution to the problem of teenage pregnancies. Unwanted pregnancies still occur, cheating still occurs, and parents still abandon their children within the confines of matrimony. Education is the key.

i think there are AT LEAST 10 girls that i know who are currently pregnant by their boyfriends, ALL of them 19 and under, with the lowest age being 15. some believe that having a baby will make them more mature, stronger people. this may be true in some cases, but in all honesty if you are not ready for a kid and have one, you're basically fucked. Then she should also assume most responsibility. A woman always has the choice to use birth control. Once she agrees to have unprotected sex with a male, she commits a negligent act (so does the male, but the difference is that his negligent act may only result in an STD).

Yet only she decides what happens with the baby. And if she assumes full decision making responsibility for the potential birth/abortion, then she should be 100% or at least 80% on the hook for the monetary accommodations for the baby.

I'm just saying that for me, I wasn't able to have an abortion or adopt, cause I already felt a connection to this baby, and I knew that if I chose not to have her, I would never forget it. i think there are AT LEAST 10 girls that i know who are currently pregnant by their boyfriends, ALL of them 19 and under, with the lowest age being 15. some believe that having a baby will make them more mature, stronger people. this may be true in some cases, but in all honesty if you are not ready for a kid and have one, you're basically fucked. Then she should also assume most responsibility. A woman always has the choice to use birth control. I'm just saying that for me, I wasn't able to have an abortion or adopt, cause I already felt a connection to this baby, and I knew that if I chose not to have her, I would never forget it. I think that if you can handle to have an abortion, you definately should, if you're only 16-17-18.etc. but not everybody can.

@MaDuke - If thats your opinion than fine BUT the pill works really well for some women. Of course the lawsuits hit the news while the "success stories," if you will, dont. For some women it improves their quality of life - I've never had an issue with it and actually prefer being on it because it clears up my skin, makes my period lighter, etc. Did you know you can die from drinking too much water? Does that make water a bad thing, too?

my thing is you hear all these stories about teen moms and what has happen to them after there baby . so why do you not get the point to not have a baby at a young age??. seen alot of 10th grade mothers in school and im like haveing sex should be the last thing on your mind . get a damn high school diploma. besides tryin to lose your virginity. due to peer pressure.

@funjessica. Okay just because you have a baby your life isnt over..its just harder for you..yes you cant do things that regular teenagers do but when you become pregnant you should become ready to give up that life..being pregnant doesnt make you a whore..it makes you a MOTHER!!

yeah but c'mon teens are not meant to have kids. teenagers are suppose to be enjoying life not having babies. i am 100% against teen pregnancy. cuz it just upsets me to see that a girl couldn't wait to have her child and then most of them drop out of high school. and this girl even said it. "find something else to do, don't have a baby"

Woow. Im 17 soon to be 18 and my boyfriend is 19.We just found out I was pregnant a couple of days ago. Since then we have started looking for an apartment and hes now working a lot of overtime.Just because you are a teen parent doesnt mean the world is going to end..things are just going to be harder. And yes we did use protection and i was on birth controlbut things happen. Yes adoption and abortion are options.But im not killing my baby because of something i did. Being pregnant as a teen...

i agree with you on that but i will say its there own fault . teen moms are not worthless but how do u not see the other teen moms out there and how hard it is to raise a child that should be a sign dont have a baby!!*atleat not at a young age at 17 or so" and now a days when its hard to get a job . why even waste your time trying to have sex because everyone else is doing it. need to learn to focus on a high school diploma or something besides tryin to loose there virginity .

my mom had me at 17, and yeah it was hard for her. but she is making good money, and although my parents arent together, they both love me very much and i get to see my dad 1 time a week. being a teen mom in no way makes you a slut, it just means you made a mistake, or maybe u wanted a baby who knows? but dont judge these girls, they get enough of that!

Are all of these young mothers against abortion? Adoption is also an option. I can't imagine becoming a mother even at the age of 21.

@cutekittygirl i think it would be wierd if i had a child and gave it up for adoption. it drive me crazy cause i would be worrying all the time if they got adopted, who adopted them are they ok, are they being mistreated abused etc. if i had a baby, i would have to keep not give it up for adoption because adoption isnt always so peachy. anything could happen.

Is it possible to adopt out to people that you know personally? I'm pretty certain that I would not be a great parent, therefore adoption would be the best avenue in my case.

My boyfriend is 22 and is a DJ works as a production engineer at a radio station and does other things. So we are NOT struggling. Although my daughter was unplanned we are very excited that she's going to be here. Not all young mothers are "stupid whores". You guys are ignorant.

@bsjackson06 There is a difference between being a young mother and being a teen mother, where the line between being a "young" and a "teen" mom exactly goes is undetermined, but I teen mom would be someone still in high school without the required resources to support a baby on her own (no high school diploma, no father, no money). It seems that you have at least 2 of those 3, so I wouldn't feel to bad and just try to ignore the negative comments :)

You guys are the most ignorant people I've ever come across. I'm 21 years old, in my second semester of my 4th year at a university, and I'm 7 months pregnant. I'm not a whore because I was with my boyfriend. And YES, we did use protection. However, the condom slipped off inside of me. Me and my boyfriend live together, and because I was money smart early I have money in my savings.
