The "Big Daddy" you see here is of the repair/working class. In the beginning of Bioshock 2, it is explained/shown that they repair broken objects that are vital to Rapture's survival. Other Big Daddy's, also known as "Bouncers", are the ones that protect the "Little Sisters".

big daddies never attack you unless you strike first. either way, there's no way to hit this one.

Use consal commands, you can fight this one, as it has an AI, it will heva at normal speed though, because they are not programed to be slowed down unless walking underwater. Without consal commands, no, you will never fight anything underwater.

big daddies weren't made to protect little sisters, they were really made to fix gaps in the walls that made water come and they did this before rapture got torn apart

they were slaves to protect the little sisters

When he's walking it sounds like he's not walking in the water. The sound should be blurred as if it was really underwater. It just sounds like he's walking on sand. Cheap.

@EddieLolz3r Big Daddies are men that are reproduced mentally and anatomically, their 'diving suits' are exoskeletons that contain artificial pheromones, in addition to mechanical voice boxes. If anything, your best bet would be calling them monsters, considering that they have no memory of being human.

apparently you won't encounter any enemies underwater in bioshock 2, so if ther is no big daddy then ther will be no little sister to follow him.

or so i've read, anyway. hope iv helped =D

not a glitch, big daddies have acess to walking outside of raptre to get to other places instead of sing the sphere things, and yes you can do that in bioshock 2
