yum, yum, i like jollibee, i first had(jollibee chicken joy) it in 1993 in manila, when i was for the first time in the philippines to marry my beautiful girl( inside and outside)
cool man, jollibbee has always been an all time favorite of just about everybody. it's the number one fast food chain in the country for years, McDonald's couldn't beat the company.
@zigyzigy13 - For some reason I find McDonald more toxic than Jollibee, I could be wrong though, as all processed foods are toxic in several ways, especially in fast foods. But in McDonalds, the scent and aroma of the food served is far from being natural. With Jollibee, it's more of a home made recipe. Maybe it's just me. :D
@demarcjw No, I think you are right. I have also eaten Jollibee many times when I was in the Phillipines and the French fries of Jollibee on the next day gets soft and the taste starts to fade which means they don't6 put a lot of chemicals in it. But the French fries of the McDonald, in the US lasts for years and it almost never spoil. I think the nutritional value of M<cDonald's food is way lower than Jollibee.
@demarcjw I like the spaghetti of Jollibee but I do't know if I would like it right now if I eat it because I just don't eat fast food anymore. But I would like to try out again and see Ihow I'm going ot feel. Has Jollibee changed since 2001? Does the French fries still go bad in few days? Ifthey don't, then they must have added the chemicals that McDonald uses in their crappy food loaded with MSG.
@zigyzigy13 - Jollibee hasn't changed their old time favorites. It still tastes the same but they have more new food choices available now than before. Nevertheless, yeah it still has chemicals so it's not always advisable to eat fast foods regularly. Once in a while is fine I guess. Besides, fast food is already part of the hectic filipino lifestyle. But if you want to live healthy, then there are much better choice out there. :)
@demarcjw You know this is irrelevant to Jollibee but I was just reading some articles form the Philippines and it says they have to label GMO foods that thy are GMO's and I was quite surprised they have that in law in the philippines whihc of course, most of hte countries do that except in hte US. No wonder I felt good eating the food in the Philippnes and had no prblem with it. I have lieved in the Philippines for 15 years but after I came to America, I got severely sick.
@demarcjw Athough the fruites and vegetables in the Philippines are not tha nutricious compared to the fruites and veggies in Japan or China or contries like in europe (because of hte soil) but it is not a genetically engineered food which in America, almost all of the food are. GMO food=toxic food that causes diseases and depleted in nutrients. No wonder the fish I ate, the veggies, and the chicken I ate)even in KFC)tast6ed very different compared to the food in US. I just wanted to say that.
@zigyzigy13 - This explains the rise of many new diseases and the widespread of different kinds of cancer. We are what we eat, and even if the most health conscious person is picky about what he eats, he is still limited to the choice of healthy food he has not unless he grows his own fruits and vegetables in his garden. That's why it's important to take food supplements to counteract the harm that processed foods and the like may have in our health. :D
